Midnight Whispers
QAF Brian and Justin Fanfiction
Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 20, 2019 08:19 AM · On: The Big Day!

So sad to see this story end but omg what a story and what a last chapter. That Craig needs the death plenty he is horrid and to do that on their wedding day is wrong. Brian was so amazing in the way he handled it and Justin was so brave. I can’t imagine the fear he must have felt. I’m delighted the way it went down and they didn’t let that creep ruin their day. I’m so proud of them.

Fantastic work, I wish there was more of it. Xx

Author's Response:

Craig's hatred never had a chance against the love that Brian and Justin share, plus all the support they have from those who care about them.  I can't tell you how happy I am that you enjoyed this story so much, Vicki.  Your comments have always been such a delight and the best morning treat I could ask for.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Way to melt my heart even more. These two just even more loved up and beautiful together. They deserve happiness and a family of their own. Show that evil Craig he can’t win.

Such an amazing chapter x

Author's Response:

Life is certainly good for our happy couple.  They have so much to look forward to.  All they have to do is get past that one cloud that wants to rain on their parade.  Huge hugs, Grammy

They really did leave there mark didn’t they in the most hot way. I’m glad his agent was happy for them instead of shouting and demanding anything from him. I’m looking forward to seeing what’s next for them.

Excellent work x

Author's Response:

With Brian's support, Justin has finally seen the path he was always meant to take in life.  And with Justin's help, Brian has finally learned that he can love with all his heart and trust someone completely.  The future is certainly looking bright for our couple.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 19, 2019 10:27 AM · On: Justin Faces the Truth

Brian handled that so perfectly, I could feel how tight his heart was telling Justin everything. That kind of pain is horrible, knowing breathing news like that will hurt the person you love. Justin is a strong young man and with Brian’s love he will get through this.

You did a fantastic job with this chapter xx

Author's Response:

I appreciate your compliment with this chapter so much, Vicki.  It is hard to write about such pain since I've lived it myself, but once Justin knows everything it will be easier to deal with what happens in the future.  Not knowing is even more dangerous.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 19, 2019 09:37 AM · On: Some Sobering Truths

Love that Brian feels that strong for Justin and feels the love back just as strong. They are so connected which is what snake what they are going through much easier then if they were alone. I’m feeling so bad for Brian that he has to tell Justin about what’s happening next and I’m sure he will do everything he can to help.

 Fantastic work x

Author's Response:

There is no longer any choice about telling Justin the whole story about the man who should have loved him more than any other since birth.  Brian will be there to help Justin deal with the pain, which will make it much easier to swallow the bitter pill.  That's what love is all about, being there for the one you love when they need you most.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 18, 2019 02:51 PM · On: Changes in the Wind

They just get cuter and cuter together. I’m so happy that Justin found the inner strength he needed to allow himself to say what he wanted. If being an artist is wha he wants he should go or if and being with the man he loves.

Oh sugar me. The boys are in danger aren’t they, I’m scared for them.

Brilliant work x

Author's Response:

I'm afraid that you are right about the danger, Vicki.  Life has gotten so good for Brian and Justin as they learn more and more about each other and think about their futures.  But of course, there has to be a fly in the ointment of this happiness... a fly named Craig Taylor.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Steamy in the sky’s for our boys huh. How did that plane not burst into flames with their hotness. I love how tenderly they treat each other when they make love it’s what they both need in their lives.

I hope our boys stay safe I’m worried now that there is another PI going to be watching them.

 Fantastic work x

Author's Response:

This chapter is just to give our boys a moment of pure joy after all the drama they've endured.  It's sort of a pause before they have to face what is coming at them all too soon.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 07:03 PM · On: Preparing for the Future

I want to whisk them away to an island 🌴 so they can be together and do what they want. I love Debbie throwing the party for Justin and Brian. She sure has taken to Jennifer and Daphne they are now apart of the family for life. I hope that Justin stays in Pittsburgh with Brian I don’t want them apart.

Fab chapter xx

Author's Response:

This chapter is meant to show just how much of a family they have all become.  There is no doubt now that Brian and Justin are a confirmed couple with their folks intermingled to support them both.  Justin just needs to decide what his future will look like.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I hope Monty helps Brian even more because I fear something else major is going to happen. I’m really hope Craig gets a kicking. Maybe the PI he has will warn the boys.

Thrilling chapter x

Author's Response:

Monty is going to be a big help for Brian and Justin, but Craig isn't ready to give up his campaign to bring them down.  Hatred is a powerful thing, which only love can conquer in the end.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 02:52 PM · On: Smile, You're On Camera

Omg if that video gets out it could be horrible. Brian is doing so hard to keep him safe and happy and this is happening. Will they feel safe there now knowing they were violated.

powerful chapter x

Author's Response:

This was a scary chapter to write, but it shows just how dangerous Craig truly is.  At least Brian and Justin are aware that they have to be very careful in the future.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 01:53 PM · On: Moving On

Brian is such an amazing partner protecting Justin as best he can and making sure he is right in thinking who is behind the attack. I love Justin’s interaction between Justin and Gus they have bonded so well and I think he will help Justin get over this. I love the name you picked out for the mansion so perfect.

Fab work x

Author's Response:

Even Brian now knows that he is love with Justin, which is why he has no problem letting his old friend and PI know the truth.  He sees that Justin is a keeper, to the point of letting him name his home.  I'm glad you like the name too.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 12:33 PM · On: Being There for Him!

I’m so glad that Justin is in Brian’s arms. He really needs to feel protected right now and who better then him. Their words they spoke to each other eere so beautiful. I fear Brian suspects that Craig is involved. I’m worried for Justin when he realises.

wonderful chapter x

Author's Response:

Brian senses that Craig is somehow involved, but he wants to protect Justin as much as he can.  Justin will need that protection as time goes by.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 12:08 PM · On: An Explosive Event

I’m am about to explode with anger at Craig. He is horrid. How on earth could he do that. Taking Justin away knowing what was going to happen he is going to give him survivors guilt. Poor Justin my heart truly hurts for him. Once he tells Brian omg he is gonna kill him.

Incredible work x

Author's Response:

Craig Taylor is going to be in a world of hurt once all the facts come out.  At least he had the decency to save his son, but that doesn't excuse him one tiny bit.  Thankfully, Brian is there to help Justin deal with all the trauma this event is going to cause.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 11:18 AM · On: The Stage is Set

Craig needs a good kick in the head and told some home truths. I’m so worried about the boys I have a very bad feeling something major is going to happen. I hope they get out to the country and be safe.

Fabulous chapter x

Author's Response:

Your instincts are very correct.  This time Craig Taylor goes over the line, as you will soon see.  Hold onto your seat, it's going to be a bumpy ride.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 08:48 AM · On: Storm Clouds Gather

I bet Brian wanted to tackle the actor and take his place so he could be the one kissing Justin instead. Justin I’m sure wouldn’t have minded either lol.

I felt so so bad for them all when the protesters gathered shouting their hate at them and even more so for Justin when he saw his dad standing there how could any dad so that that’s not how you treat your child.

Powerful chapter x

Author's Response:

This protest is just the beginning of a darker side to the making of their movie.  Only time will tell just how dark things can get.  And just seeing his dad being a part of such hate has certainly been an eye-opener for Justin.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 17, 2019 08:02 AM · On: A Visit to the Country

This chapter was the perfect way to start my day. It made me smile from start to finish. I loved Brian so carefree and happy I could see his smile so clearly. It made me chuckle when he was serving Justin his breakfast that was so Brian. When he was showing Justin his house and talking about Gus my heart swelled with the pride and love in his voice. I hope they get back there with Gus someday and go horse riding.

Thank you you for this beautiful chapter x

Author's Response:

Funny that you mentioned the horses, because I had forgotten I included them at the estate in this story.  There are horses at Britin in the story I'm writing for you too.  LOL!  Justin has most definitely discovered a whole new side to Brian, and I think it is clear that he really likes it.  I suspect there will be many more visits to the country house in their future.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 16, 2019 10:08 AM · On: A Rip in the Family Fabric

I want to jump into the story and knock into Craig using my wheelchair it might hurt his leg even more the shit head. How could he treat his own flesh and blood that way. He has no heart at all. I’m so happy Jennifer told his ass where to go and I hope she takes him for everything all his money, Stores etc. I’m so glad that Justin went home to Brian and was warmed in his arms and by his love. Justin is way better with Brian and his mum and sister who love him dearly xx

Brilliant Chapter x

Author's Response:

I actually enjoy writing Craig as the villain in my stories.  I truly despised the man on the series.  Jennifer will always be my hero because of how she chose her son over her husband when she knew he was in the wrong.  Justin also has Brian now to help him deal with the trauma of knowing what kind of man his father really is.  Like many sons, he did want to have his father's love and respect, but Brian will show him that he doesn't need it from a man like that.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I love Daphne’s reaction hyper and sweet. Lol I love how she knew and how his mother knew before he did that must have made his head spin like a spinning top lol. Molly was so sweet in her greeting of her brother that really warmed my heart. I can feel how nervous he is in waiting to tell his dad but I’m sure talking to Brian helped sooth him.

fab chapter x

Author's Response:

It's not unusual for those closest to us to see something in us that we don't even recognize ourselves.  Of course, in this case Justin wasn't denying his sexual orientation.  He genuinely didn't see it because he was too busy trying to make a go of it to get involved in any kind of relationship.  Now that he knows how those he loves feel about him, he will have even more confidence in himself.  The only test left is with his father.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 15, 2019 07:59 PM · On: Brian is Challenged

Lol love it, Justin so has Brian’s number doesn’t he. Brian try’s so hard to even all I don’t do boyfriends and such but with the young man beside him he is caught by the short and curly lol. I love that Justin is getting more comfortable and seeing more to the new world he is getting into and loving it.

Fantastic work x

Author's Response:

Like so many actors, Justin is a student of human behavior.  He has already sensed that Brian feels more for him than the older man is yet able to recognize.  Justin is also very patient.  He'll bide his time until Brian sees what he sees in their relationship.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 15, 2019 02:55 PM · On: Making Love

Awe this was like reading true romance book. Justin is caught hook line and sinker in love I think. Brian truly was the perfect person to be with Justin. He cared and that is a good heart right there. I can’t wait for more.

Beautiful chapter x

Author's Response:

I remembered how gentle and caring Brian was with Justin for his first time and knew I'd have to transfer that characteristic onto this Brian.  I truly believe that doing that for Justin is a major reason the young man fell in love so quickly with Brian.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 15, 2019 01:21 PM · On: Boundaries Set, Lessons Learned

Way to go Brian, I’m delighted you spoke to your friends about what they did. It shows your strength and what you feel and it’s great you can do that. I love Justin exploring his feelings and making love, that really was magical.

Wonderful chapter x

Author's Response:

Brian has come to realize that it is time to let everyone, friends and Justin, know how he feels.  The timing was perfect.  Now Justin can see the truth about himself and can open his heart and body all the way.  He won't be sorry.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 15, 2019 12:27 PM · On: Warnings

Poor Justin’s head must be spinning from all that. Brian’s so called friends shouldn’t be doing that warning Justin about him. I hope Brian manages to reassure him and help him know who he truly is.

Excellent work x

Author's Response:

Brian's gang have come to like Justin very much and think they know all about Brian.  All they want to do is give Justin a heads up so he won't be hurt in the end.  What they don't realize yet is that Justin is different for Brian.  Brian will have to set them, and Justin 'straight', so to speak.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 15, 2019 11:36 AM · On: A Light Dawns

I loved this and I love that Brian took the time to show Justin thjs side of life and Gus’s Birthday. I’m glad that Brian didn’t bring up what happened the night before instead making Justin as comfortable as possible. Well until the cheeky boy went to the loo at the same time that was his slight way of Showing Justin what he had that could be his. I hope Justin realises that Brian is truly the one for him.

Fabulous chapter x

Author's Response:

It is lucky for Justin that Brian is a very perceptive man and knows when to advance as well as when to retreat.  Brian will be patient with Justin, especially now that he knows the young man is more than he claims to be.  Brian realizes it will be best for both of them if Justin discovers his true self on his own, with Brian waiting in the wings as a reward at the end of the day.  It shouldn't be long now.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 15, 2019 09:02 AM · On: Some Lessons Are Scary

I think Justin is slowly realising that this is the world he feels more connected to and it is scaring him a little bit. Brian is having waaaay to much introducing him to it, in a good way of course. I hope Justin realises it’s ok and begin to accept it. Seeing the back room for the first time must have been scary but running like that shocked Brian more then seeing the room for Justin lol. This was an excellent chapter. Xx

Author's Response:

Poor Justin is in a very confusing state of mind right now.  Because he was never attracted to any other male in his lifetime, he is confused by his feelings for Brian.  He is now telling himself that all he wants is to learn more about the gay community so that he can give an excellent performance for his movie.  The backroom was a bit more than he could handle however, but Brian wants to give him the full picture.  More lessons coming up.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 12, 2019 08:42 PM · On: Brian's Protege'

Justin is so cute blushing like that at each introduction to Brian’s friends and his Son. I think Brian is equally as cute in doing it, he is like an excited puppy showing off his new toy to anyone who will pay attention to him. I love that Gus took to him right away and I hope we see more of that. I can’t wait to see Brian and Justin get closer.

Fantastic work x

Author's Response:

Without realizing it, Brian is showing Justin quite a bit more than just what being gay is all about.  He is revealing a lot of what Brian is all about too.  Even Brian doesn't realize that he wouldn't do that for just anybody.  And Justin is revealing a lot about himself too.  The connection between them is slowly, but surely revealing itself.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 12, 2019 06:26 PM · On: The Lessons Begin

Lol I could see Justin’s stunned expression when seeing Bryan step out of the jeep then getting jumped on my Debbie. That is a welcome and a half right. I’m sure he will be left with that stunned expression by the end of the night when he gets to see what Brian has in store for him. I can’t wait to seee and I hope Justin realises that he is gay soon.

Fab chapter x

Author's Response:

I just had the feeling that going to the diner and meeting Debbie would be the perfect first introduction to the gay community for young Justin.  Brian will do his best to draw out who Justin really is inside, IF his gaydar proves to be correct.  LOL!  The lessons are just beginning.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 12, 2019 01:38 PM · On: Justin Taylor Meets Brian Kinney

Gosh if that happened to me going to the airport I would have a heart attack and I’m flying to Vegas soon. I was as nervous as Justin was. I felt every step that he took nerves jiggling each and every fibre of him. Then the moment he laid on eyes on Brian was like a bolt of lightning a spark of omg he is beautiful I truly felt that strongly from both sides. I can’t wait to see them interact again.

Brilliant work x

Author's Response:

I have to admit that I took Justin's travel woes from real life.  Something very similar happened to me many years ago and I knew how hard it would make it for Justin to go through that.  He is already nervous enough about taking on such a big role for the first time in his life.  But now he has another issue to deal with... why did he find himself attracted to a man, and not just any man?  He will find out as time goes on.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Reviewer: vic32 (Signed) · Date: September 11, 2019 07:36 PM · On: The Calm Before the Storm

I hope Justin does get the role and takes it on with gusto. I’m sure his passion will make it very hot. Brian will do an amazing job promoting the film and I pray that he meets Justin at the meeting and sparks fly right away.

Fantastic work x

Author's Response:

It is fair to say that Justin is every bit as good an actor as Randy Harrison.  LOL!  They have the same passion for their work.  And Brian, as always, is one hell of a fantastic ad man.  Chances are that he will be inspired to do a great job promoting this new film.  Huge hugs, Grammy

That’s an interesting spin I didn’t think of a “straight “ Justin dating Daphne at one time. I love the thought of the film role he is going for this should be very interesting indeed. So looking forward to seeing where it goes from here.

Wow!! I finally finished all thirty chapters!!! Sorry it took so long, but I couldn't call out from work with the excuse that I had to finish reading some awesome fanfic ;} I don't think that would have gone over too well ;p I was at the end reading how happy they were and how the wedding was just about to happen, and I was just waiting for that other shoe to fall. Knowing your writing the way I do, I knew you wouldn't let craig off just like that. I knew you'd give him what he deserved. I've learned to just wait and keep reading, and you'll delliver. Of course our boys would have to have a death defying moment before their wedding. That's just like foreplay for them. Great story... as always. Can't wait to start a new one now. I just have to go through all your stories and see which one peeks my interest most. NOT HARD AT ALL ;D (insert sarcasm here)

Thanks for all your hard work.

Author's Response:

My dear Boriqua, I'm on a two week vacation with my family to celebrate Dad's 90th birthday, so I haven't had much time to keep up with things online.  Seeing your comments first thing after going back online during the lull in our activities here at my parent's house is icing on the cake.  I am so very happy that you enjoyed this story.  It is among my favorites.  Of course I had to punish Craig.  That man deserves anything he gets.  LOL!  And, of course, our boys had to end up 'happily ever after'.  It's just the way I see things for people that much in love.  I hope you will enjoy anything else you choose to read too.  I will certainly be thrilled to hear from you again.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Damn, I wasn't going to comment untill I got to the end, but I had to stop and say that I loved this chapter. Loved that justin saw right through brian and into his soul, then set him straight (or gay) on what was really going on. That had me cheering for justin. Oh, btw, I think you may have been a gay man in another life, that or an erotic writer, cause DAMN THOSE SEX SCENES ARE BRAIN MELTING HAWT!!! I'm hooked and I can't stop reading.

Author's Response:

Wow!  Now talk about a compliment.  Thank you so much for such fantastic words, Boriqua.  I actually had a reader once accuse me of lying about who I am.  They seemed to think I really was a gay man pretending to be an old grey-haired lady just to fool my readers.  LOL!  Nope, I am just an old girl who has a very vivid imagination.  Even in my youth, I loved telling stories, although I confess they were a lot tamer then than they are now.  Blame it on Queer as Folk.  Those folks sure did know how to make gay love a beautiful thing to behold, and I love interpreting it.

I love writing scenes where Justin stands up for himself.  It may have taken a little time for him to come into his own on the show, but even in the beginning (remember how brave he was when he would talk back to Brian, even when joking), Justin was always able to hold his own with the much older and more experienced Brian Kinney.  I think that is one reason I loved the kid so much.  I like folks who aren't afraid of life.  Hope you enjoy where the rest of the story takes you too.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Okay, I saw this posted on my other favorite site and had to come here and search through all your works in hopes that you had a completed one here ;} yippeeee...I wasn't dissapointed. Now I'm hooked. You really know how to reel someone into a story. At first I wasn't sure I wanted to read a story where justin starts out (supposedly straight), but now I can't wait for hurricane justin to make land in the pitts and brian's life. I need to read one more chapter before I go to bed, and I know I'll regret that when I get up in the morning to go to work. Oh well...

Author's Response:

I'm always happy to see you, Boriqua, no matter what site it's on.  MW is home base for me and so everything I've ever written is here.  I'm just now adding my QAF stories onto Ao3, but I don't want to overwhem them with everything at once.  I will finish up with the last of my longer stories and then start adding on my short stories.  I hope you will enjoy whatever you choose to check out.

I guarantee you that I never write a story where any of our boys are straight.  I wouldn't do that to Brian or Justin, or any of the others.  I hope you got enough rest for work.  Thank you so much for letting me know you are visiting this story too.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I very much enjoy a Justin who knows who he is from the very beginning, but this time I wanted to explore a Justin who learns about himself thanks to Brian.  I'm glad you enjoyed that aspect of this story.  One thing you can always count on with any of my stories is a happy ending.  In my world, our boys always deserve that.  Thank you so much for checking out this story, TAG, and for commenting.  Huge hugs, Grammy

I remember when I starting dating guys my family was shocked. My dad and sisters apparently thought I was a lesbian! I still don't think we have seen the end of Mr. Taylor...

Author's Response:

My Granddaughter came to us and told her mother and I that she was a lesbian at age 16.  We had no idea, but shock is the wrong word for how we felt.  We simply said...that's who you are, then that's who you are.  It makes no difference who your child loves or is attracted to.  That's their business and not a choice, simply who they were born to be.  I figure it this way, if she can love me for being heterosexual, then I can love her for being homosexual...or bisexual...or asexual...or whatever!!  It's just too bad that there are so many Mr. Taylor's in this world.  I have zero respect for them.  End of story.

Whoops!  Sorry for the soapbox!  LOL!  I love to write a rotten Craig Taylor, which I'm afraid is obvious.  Thanks for hanging in for the entire story, and for letting me know what you think.  Hugs, Grammy

I am so sorry to have lost your earlier comments, Ivy.  As the Admin has just stated, it had nothing to do with the tone of your comments at all.  Apparently it was a system failure.  I hope you were able to read my responses before they were deleted because I am so very grateful to you for all of them.  I hope you will enjoy the next chapter, especially.  It is written more for the fun of it than to advance the story, but we do get right back to the story after that.  Thank you again for all your remarks.  They are much appreciated.  Hugs, Grammy

I enjoyed this story. Everyone including Michael was so supportive. What a happy ending. Pleas continue to write these lovely stories. Thanks!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much, Taurus1958.  I really enjoyed writing this story and it is always good to hear that someone is still reading it long after it was finished.  I really appreciate it and I can promise you more romance in the future.  Warm hugs, Grammy

Justin got his first taste of Liberty Ave. and the "Gang"... and it looks like he is loving every minute.... I can't wait to see what kind of "initiation" he gets at Babylon.... lol...

Author's Response:

There are some very interesting things for Justin to learn from Brian and his pals and he is more than eager to take it all in, especially since Brian is the one in charge.  Hope you enjoy it, BluvsJ.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

WOW... it looks as though they both left a big impression on the other... lol.. I can't wait to see Brian giving Justin... "lessons"

Author's Response:

I can't think of a better teacher than Brian, when a gay boy isn't aware of the possibilities of really living his life, can you BluvsJ?  LOL!  Hope you enjoy some of those lessons too.  See you then.  Huge hugs, Grammy

That was a nice twist having Lindsay as the artist for Rage.... I can't wait till Brian and Justin finally meet.... off to read the next chapter....  Thanks...

Author's Response:

I'm glad you liked that idea of Lindsay as artist.  We could see on the show by the painting she made of Sam that she was really talented and since Justin is otherwise occupied, I needed another artist for the comic.  LOL!  The meeting will make quite an impression, especially on Brian.  See you then, BluvsJ.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Author's Response:

I am so happy you found this story, BluvsJ.  Don't worry about Justin.  He will soon discover just how gay he is thanks to the 'friendship' and help of a certain ad man.  Hope you enjoy the journey.  Huge warm hugs, Grammy

Oh what a wonderful ending I loved this fic. It had suspense, drama and comedy. It was your usual standard of brillant writing that makes reading your stories unstoppable, I have read this through the night lol. Thank you so much and I look forward to the sequel  :)Chris

Author's Response:

You are so very kind, Chris, and I appreciate it so much.  I truly love putting our boys into a variety of situations, but of course they always have to end up happy to be together and in one piece.  Can't imagine them any other way.  I am thrilled that you enjoyed this story and who knows, I may write a sequel for it one day.  Right now my plans are for a sequel to 'The Story Teller' because it will fit in timely with current events.  Hope you'll join me then.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Hi Mandagrammy as you can see I am skipping forward with this fic on MW lol.

Well I will never understand how a parent can just turn their back on their own child and yay for Jennifer for putting Justin and Molly first. How sweet of Brian to be waiting for Justin and being a support for him :) Chris

Author's Response:

I am always happy to have a review posted on MW, Chris, since I have always thought of this as my home base.  I am also always happy to hear from you no matter where it is.  You haven't begun to see just how rotten Craig Taylor can be in this particular story.  I look forward to hearing what you think of him and his actions further along into the story.  Thanks so much for commenting for me.  I truly appreciate it.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Holy homophobic bat shit Robin; that was close. Excellent final chapter to another wonderful Grammy creation.

Author's Response:

It's nearly Noon here and time for lunch.  I decide to take a break from packing and check my email.  What do I find but a ton of notices from MW of new reviews available.  I knew it had to be you.  No one is more generous with their time in letting a writer know what he thinks of their work.  You are truly a blessing to an amateur writer like myself.  This story is absolutely one of my favorites.  I had so much fun making Craig more than just a homophobic prick who was stupid enough not to appreciate the wonderful son he had.  I truly detested the man on the show and this time around I wanted to make him soooo bad that he had to pay dearly for his behavior.

Btw, I really wasn't aware of how dangerous swallowing was when I wrote this, but I probably still would have written it in simply because they allowed it to be used on the show (who could forget the many times our boys obviously hadn't spit anything out during lovemaking sessions, except for that one perfect scene when Justin gave Stockwell's photo a well-deserved 'bath').  I figured if the very gay Cowlip (who certainly should know about such things) would allow Brian of all people to do it, then I could indulge in the fantasy too.  I guess you can call it dramatic license.  LOL!

Anyway, I am very glad you enjoyed this story, JT.  I thought, what better setting for Justin (aka Randy) than to make him an actor and have him in the movie version of 'Rage'.  I truly don't know where some of my plots come from.  They just pop into my head and off I go.  I have a very wild muse.  I have to thank you again for being so kind to me and making me feel like a million dollars.  Warmest hugs, Grammy

Author's Response: Thank you so much for the compliment Emma, especially since I have very little experience myself.  I guess you might say that all those steamy romance novels I've read for so many years (both hetero and same sex) have a lot to do with my vivid imagination.  LOL!  You have a right to sympathize with poor Brian.  He hates knowing he will have to hurt Justin.  But better him than someone else right now.  The next chapter is in the works.  Stay tuned.  Hugs from Grammy

i wouldn't want to be brian.  to have to be the one telling jusitn about his dad, not knowing how justin will react is not good.

i like the playfulness of their morning round of sex. poor justin, he should never doubt if the sex will get better, he has brian in his bed.

Author's Response: You know, knowing those two, I think they only question whether it will keep getting better as a challenge to each other to make sure it does.  LOL!  And of course, it does.  Practice makes perfect.  I'm afraid that telling Justin is not an option, cause Brian knows it has to come from him.  At least he knows what it is like to have a hateful parent.  Stay tuned Sherrie.  There has to be a bit of a storm before the seas can calm.  Hugs from Grammy

I just have to say that this is one of the best fics I've read here in a long time! Your sex scenes are superb, too hot for words, and the relationship between BJ is just so sweet. They are so beautiful together.

Craig Taylor is a bastard and I hope the cops get to him before he gets to our boys. Please don't let him hurt them!!!

I love this fic so much Grammy and I'll be sad to see it end. Thank you for writing it.

Later, Emma xXx

Author's Response:

My Lord, how can I thank you for such kind words Emma.  In my stories, our boys might be in danger, but their love always pulls them through.  My villians always get their comeuppance...that's a promise.  I still have a few more chapters in this story and then I'm planning a sequel to Double Trouble.  Hope you'll enjoy the rest of this story too and join me for 'DT: Graduation'.  Thank you again for making my day with your wonderful comments.  Grammy

It's amazing me that you write so much fics and I love this one!

....waiting the next chapter!

xmao

Author's Response: Thank you so much for commenting on this story Kika.  It is always nice to know that someone likes what you've written.  I'm luckier than many of our talented writers since I'm retired now and, outside of helping to raise my Granddaughters, don't have too many outside activities to distract me.  This gives me plenty of time to devote to writing.  I'm just thankful that so many people seem to like what I put out.  Hope you will continue to enjoy where this story leads.  Grammy

Aww the love. That's a bad text. Great chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments Jackie.  Yep, I'm afraid that text over coffee in the morning is going to put a damper on things, but their love is a heck of a lot stronger than Craig's hate so stay tuned, my dear.  Next chapter very soon.  Grammy

such a lovely evening to be rejoiced and spoiled come morning.

craig's reign is coming to an end.

another amazing chapter sandy.

Author's Response: I know what you mean Sherrie.  I felt like a cad adding that last bit with the text message, but at least I made sure our boys had some real loving before the s*** hits the fan.  I'm sorry there will be some bad moments ahead, but you know our boys will handle it....together!  Thank you for your comments, as always.  Hugs from Grammy

You know I love this story and I commented on TQL and it hasn't lost its' hotness here either.  Great stuff and as always your sense of humour and grasp of their characters and their love for each other shows through.  Did I mention I enjoyed the "Mile High Club" sex again? Drool.

Author's Response: As always, I love hearing from you Judy.  I'm so tickled that you enjoyed this story enough to read it again.  Hee hee!  Now that is a compliment.  Too bad Brian didn't hire a steward or stewardess.  Just think how much fun they would have had on this trip.  LOL!  Big hugs from Grammy

...wow. Now that's a flight. It's great that Brian wants to protect Justin. Hopefully nothing to bad happens. Great chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Thank you so much Jackie.  I kind of thought that folks would enjoy a flight like Brian would plan for the love of his life.  I will have another chapter up as soon as I can.  I appreciate your comments.  Grammy

great chapter, im glad justin has brian to look after him

Author's Response: Thank you so much for commenting for me Sally.  I truly appreiate it.  Brian will never stop keeping an eye out for the young man he loves...not in my stories.  I'm glad you enjoyed it.  Grammy

thanks for flying the friendly skies of kinney airways. our motto: let it be our pleasure to service you.

that was a very hot flight sandy.

good thing monty told brian about the other detective. if something were to happen to justin, craig couldn't get out of the country fast enough.

beverly hills hotel? polo lounge? not too shabby.

Author's Response: I kind of thought you might enjoy that flight Sherrie.  LOL!  And who needs a stewardess when one can take care of their own needs..right?  I chose the Hotel because I'm from California and even when I was young I longed to stay there.  Never could afford it of course, but one can dream.  Don't worry about Craig.  His time is just about up.  Mwwwaaahhahaha!!!  Thanks so much for commenting Sherrie.  I always look forward to hearing from you.  Hugs from Grammy

Beautiful, and Brian is still so protective.... :-)

Author's Response: Thank you for commenting Alys.  Brian will never let an evil doer hurt Justin if he can help it.  That's for certain.  Grammy

hmmm... that was so hot.... great chapter... :-)) Rose

Author's Response: Thank you so much Rose.  I'm so glad you enjoyed the flight.  LOL!  Grammy

its so great that jennifer, molly and daphne are supportive of justin when craig is being so silly, great chapter

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments Cari.  I truly appreciate them.  Justin has a lot going for him so Craig is the only loser in this story.  I'm glad you enjoyed the chapter.  More very soon.  Grammy

craig is getting crazier if thats possible lol, I do hope that brian and justin will be ok and not be harmed by him

Author's Response: Poor Craig.  I actually hadn't started out planning to make him quite so much the villian, but then I remembered how he took a chance on killing Brian with his car on the show and thought, yep he could be that crazy.  In the end though, he'll be the loser as he deserves to be.  Thanks so much for your comments, Jess.  I truly appreciate them.  Grammy

It would be better if Craig just left and 'had another son.' Justin would be hurt but it would be better than the pain Craig wants to commit against them. Great chapter and I cannot wait to see what happens next.

Author's Response: Thank you so much for your comments Jackie.  You know a person is not meant to be a parent when they think one child is easily replaceable by another...poor pathetic man.  I'm very glad you are enjoying the story.  I'll have another chapter up as quickly as possible.  Grammy

I made a bad choice," he muttered under his breath. "I should have had them target that sick degenerate...taken out his fucking country house." stick your foot further down your throat craig, maybe you'll choke to death.

The detective caught the words and stored them away but decided not to explore their meaning any further at the moment. rodriquez isn't so stupid after all.

poor brian, being torn about what to tell justin and what not to tell. difficult decision for him.

i liked the light heartedness of the dinner scene. his arms full of bond energy is just what he needed.

Author's Response: I've noticed it many times before, but I'll say it again...you are really observant Sherrie.  I had left a clue as to one of Craig's future difficulties thanks to his big mouth in front of the detective and you caught it.  Hee hee.  The man is worse than a bigot and fool and deserves whatever happens to him.  Thanks so much for your review.  I always love to hear from you.  Grammy

grrrrr, stupid craig... leave them alone!!!! Brian is so great. I hope you update soooooon

Author's Response: I may not know your name but I know how very much I appreciate your comment.  It was very kind of you to take the time to let me know that you are enjoying this story.  I promise you an update as quickly as I can.  Brian definitely needs to take care of a certain problem called Craig.  Grammy

how in the world did my review for chap.21 get to chap. 20?

anyway, very thoughtful chapter sandy. this gives the guys a chance for some peace with the movie going back to LA.

poor craig, doesn't know what he's up against. trying to ruin things for justin is not going to gain his trust that's for sure.

Author's Response: Poor stupid Craig Taylor has already proven that he is a fool.  He rejects a fine young man like his own son, Justin because of who he loves...Geez!  But seeing the proof of that love is just the first of the punishments that man is going to have to endure, I suspect.  Thank you so much for commenting Sherrie.  I always try to give our boys a little respite when things become too hard on them.  I'm glad you enjoy that.  Hugs from Grammy

Well that's a very interesting video. Great chapter. I can't wait to see what happens next.

Author's Response: I have the feeling that is one video that would fetch a mighty high price on ebay.  LOL!  Thanks for your comments Jackie.  Next chapter is in the works.  Grammy

Totally hot chapter, Grammy.  The detective def. got more than he bargained for.  I'll never look at a tennis court in quite the same way again.  LOL!!

Author's Response: Yep, too bad the detective wasn't gay.  He would have enjoyed the scenery a lot more.  LOL!  My Baby Brother came close to becoming a professional tennis player.  He is sadly not as gay friendly as the dodo bird should be (I love him anyway...he is my Brother), and he would be very disturbed if he knew what I did with his beloved tennis court.  But I'll never tell.  LOL!  Thanks for your comments Judy.  I always love to hear from you.  Hugs from Grammy

a video that hot shouldnt go to someone who cant appreciate the hotness of it like craig, he should mind his own business and let his son live his life, as if thats going to happen lol

Author's Response: Craig Taylor is definitely one very stupid and foolish man.  But he will pay the price for his stupidity.  Thanks for commenting Kate.  I truly appreciate it.  Grammy
