Wow, Brian is sure doing everything he can to make everything up to Justin, to right all the wrongs of the past.    I loved it.

Author's Response:

I'm so glad you enjoyed this fic. I always felt as if there was something missing after Brian and Justin got back together; some kind of amends that were never quite made. This was kind of a gapfiller to put that right, at least in my own mind ;-) Thanks again for reading and for your lovely review!

How I wish this could have actually happened... it would have been nice to see/hear Brian, in his way, admit it wasn't all Justin's fault for the break...

and the picnic at the end was just beautiful

Author's Response:

I'm really glad you liked it ;-) It would have been nice to see a bit more resolution to the Vermont trip in canon, I agree. I suppose that's what we have imaginations for, I guess *g* Thanks so much for reading and for your lovely review. I appreciate it so much.

I loved Justin finally got his vacation with his man. Brian pulled out all the stops to give Justin memories for a lifetime. The surprise of it, the beautiful surroundings and to top it all the candlelight picnic. Brian may have trouble with the words, but he has no trouble showing his love and sometimes words are over rated, Thanks for a wonderful story.

Author's Response:

Thanks :-) I'm so thrilled that you enjoyed this story. Brian may have had issues expressing his feelings towards Justin in words, but he was certainly able to make his actions speak for him. That's one of things that I always loved about Brian's character - he seemed to have such a hard shell of self-assurance, but underneath, I think he was very caring, sensitive and possibly a little insecure. I loved that he had that complexity to him. Thanks so much for reading and for your lovely review. It appreciate it so much.

I do believe that Brian, in his unique way, is telling Justin that when they get home there will be no going off to Babylon after working long hours into the night.  At least not without Justin.

Author's Response:

Possibly ;-) I don't think that Brian is quite ready to give up Babylon or tricking at this point in the canon verse, but this is his unique way of showing Justin that he is truly special and the he is the one Brian really loves. Thanks so much for reading and for your lovely review. It means a lot ;-)

What a sweet, loving story this was.  Brian can certainly do romance and most definitely show his love for Justin in his actions.  What a fabulous vacation he planned for them.

Author's Response:

Thanks Lorma! I'm thrilled that yo enjoyed this story. One of things I always loved about Brian's character was that his actions spoke so much louder than his words - even when his actions and his words seemed to be saying different things. He really is quite romantic at heart, at least the way I see things ;-) Thank you so much for reading and for your lovely review. I appreciate it so much!

Wonderful story!!!  Too bad it didn't happen that way in the show.  Bill

Author's Response:

Thanks Bill :-) I'm so glad that you enjoyed this story! I like to think that this *might* have happened in theory in the show ;-) It's on of the beautiful things about the gapfiller genre, which I admit is one of my favorites to write in. Thanks so much for reading and for your wonderful review. I appreciate it so much :-)

I loved it, this is the perfect get away to finally forgive each other and show how much they love one another...

Author's Response:

Thanks Kathleen *hugs* I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this story. I think Brian and Justin both learnt a lot about themselves during the Etham arch, and that helped strengthen their relationship (on both sides) int he end. Thanks so much for reading and for your wonderful review. I appreciate it so much :-)

This story is ridiculously romantic. Brian is all about actions, not words and Justin has grown up enough to appreciate that fact. Nicely done...

Author's Response:

Thanks ;-) I'm thrilled that you enjoyed this story, and that you thought it was a bit romantic *g* Brian really is all about actions - he uses his actions to say things he's not willing to say with words. Justin did take a while to understand that, but I think they really made it work in the end. Thanks so much for reading and for your lovely review. I appreciate it so much :-)

Hi, Emily! So thrilled that you chose to post this on here!  So beautifully written, as all your stories are. :)  Such a romantic story.  And the significance of that picnic, I'm sure, was not lost on Justin.  Loved this one! Thank you for posting it on here. I always love to read your stories.  ~Kim
