OK that explains that. That would have to be that Justin stayed in the hospital for years after the world Trade with no money and no memory, no insurance. I like the story and will continue reading but can you tell me if I am missing something here. Does it make sense.
Justin went to NY and very soon after, the world Trade happened where he ended up in the hospital with amnesia where he took the baby . HOW could he take a baby that never existed yet for a few years. Daphne only got pregnant years later after Justin went to NY. The cart before the hoarse? Did I miss somthing?
Author's Response: Oops, did I forget to mention that he stayed at the hospital for a loooooong time after the World Trade tumbling down. In the commotion, it was almost as if he'd always been there. He flittered in and out of peoples lives. Hope that helps.

Something's not right with Justin's story. I'd say either in the service or maybe police force after he recovered from his injuries. I had forgotten he was injured during 9/11.
He just up and runs out of the hospital with an HIV baby?. Daph found him.
It's understandable that since Brian will no longer support him Michael really has no need for Brian.
Justin's memory is returning, slowly but surely.
This next chapter should be a doozie. How does Justin plan on explaining saving Brian and what happened to the gun.

Justin was only in NY a bit before the trade center fell. Then he was in the hospital with no memory because of the trade center or something else put him in the hospital where he saved the baby?

I did get a little confused with the timeline, read the reviews, accepted that you messed with the timeline a bit and moved on. This chapter hints so much about Justin's life - the self-defence and the gun are very telling. Seems that his memories are still there deeply hidden or he wouldn't have remembered the carb rule. Plus he was drawn to the nursery which under normal circumstances he wouldn't be - somehow his instincts knew there was someone there waiting for him. Pittsburgh could open a floodgate of memories - hopefully - and why is it that I keep thinking Michael may just be the catalyst - I keep seeing a picture in my mind of Michael being a complete shit and Justin producing that gun and pointing it directly in his face - or is that wishing thinking....LOL

I know that you did the time line different but I was also confused. Could you tell me the span of time the events happene from when Justin went to NY to now.
So after calling off the wedding Justin went to NY. Then how long after that did the world Trade get hit and Justin went missing 6 months?? Brian didn't hire a PI to try to find him then?
Then how many years after the world Trade happen did Daphne go to Brian and then they got a PI to try to find Justin? And how long did the the PI look for Justin a year?
And how many years is it from the PI that was hired when Daphne went to Brian till now when he found Justin with the child.
Is gus fifteen now making all this happened in ten years?
Author's Response: Pretty much. Time lines are not my fortey. Sorry. You are correct about it being a while before Daphne went to Brian. I'm figuring five years have past since Daphne's disappeared, maybe. And thanks to one of the reviewers I've changed Dani's age from 3 to 5. That was a 'duh' moment for me. lol.

You forgot to answer some of my questions.lol
When Brian heard rumors that Justin was dead why didn't Brian try to find out and try to locate him. He only used the detective when Daphne came to him.
Did Brian and Justin even keep in touch when he left for NY. Did they have a long distance relationship or thing or did Brian through him out to go to NY and throw him off a Kinney cliff because Brian thought he wasn't worthy of Justin or somthing?
How long was that detective looking for Justin?
How could Brians feelings for Justin diminish because when he found him with the baby in NY he didn't react like Justin was still in his heart. All the feelings didn't come rushing back even in the hotel or did they?
You didn't write about a memorial service for Justin when was that after Daphne went to Brian?
Author's Response: That's not what this story is about. This story is about Brian thinking that deep down he doesn't deserve to be happy and is his journey to find happiness. The rest is irrelevant. I'm sorry that the chapters already posted aren't as informative as you would like.

Great chapter. Had some questions regarding Brians feelings for Justin.NY tragedy happened and Brian couldn't locate Justin and he heard rumors that Justin was dead why wouldn't he do everything to find Justin. How could he not of spoken to him over the time he went to NY. Not even keep in touch. Author's Response: It is confusing. Let's assume that the story starts after the final episode and it was after the towers attack that Brian lost track of Justin. Brian hired an investigator trying to locate Justin. Justin's family eventually had a memorial service for him believing him dead. I'm going to have to reread what I've written because I don't ever remember having Brian say trying to find Justin was not worth it. He was shocked to find Justin and when Justin didn't recognize him, he knew he'd have to thread lightly. Hope that answers some of your questions. Thank you for commenting.

Did Brian ever visit him or that was the last he saw ofhim.How many years ago was that and how many years ago was the NY terrorist attack ? Since Gus is fifteen and the Baby is three now then was it ten years since Brian saw Justin and then when did the terrorist attack and Daphne coming to see Brian happen. And how many in between those and now that Justin reappeared for Brian?
Author's Response: I put in the warning that I played with the timeline. The real Twin Tower attack was 7/11/01. In my story Justin went to New York, shortly after he got there the twin towers fell. Brian hired a detective to locate Justin but didn't. Now that you mention it the baby's age doesn't line up. I'll have to fix that. Thank you!

Author's Response: I can understand, but as a writer there are points in the story were the shock value outweighs going further. That's part of the fun of writing. It's not like you'll have to wait a week to read the next installment. It's taken more than a year to get this finished with months between some chapters while my muse stalled.
