This was a great little story!! It was nice to see things from someone else's perspective - a college roommate of Brian's no-less, to see first hand how much he has changed over the years. It was definitely an eye opener for him. But I'm not surprised in the least that at the first sign of Cam trying to come on to him, that Brian deflected and changed the subject.

It was a bit OOC for Brian, but could be canon, seeing as it happens after 513. Well, Brian is a lot like what he would have been like if the wedding would have happened. I enjoyed it thoroughly, though. I still can't wipe the smile off my face! I sooo love the romance fics, which is why I am here. Thank you for writing this!

Oh my, what a story! Thank you so much for it, Kim, this is one of my most favorite themes – I *love* looking at Brian and Justin through someone else’s eyes, it emphasizes their feelings for each other, it shows this deep connection between them even more clearly. And of course I love the inevitable jealousy and envy, because who wouldn’t want Brian/Justin?:)
I loved Cam, you made him so alive, it’s like he’s been a part of QAF for years. He seemed very familiar. Great idea – to make him Brian’s ex-roommate, it’s realistic and it has a great potential. I loved Cam’s interest toward Brian – and his shock and disbelief when he realized why exactly Brian couldn’t sleep with him. I always enjoyed seeing people’s reaction to Justin and the role he plays in Brian’s life - especially if these people knew only the ‘old’ Brian.
Thanks, Kim! You described wonderfully our boys’ love. They were so tender, so loving to each other… I melted when I saw how Brian greeted Justin. The love was palpable. Amazing story. Thank you!

As for KMKM, Casper told me that he is hoping to get the film premiered during LA's Outfest in July of this year. But that is only if all the post-production goes smoothly. And if it's like SGP, I think it will hit the festival circuit, rather than all the big theaters. If you follow my LJ or Twitter account, though, I'll be keeping an eye out for showings and will post a link to them. I think it will be a great film! I just wish I had a better way to contact some of you, because I have an exclusive photo of Gale and Van together from the film, but I'm not going to publicly post it.

I think if I had a chance to see Brian and Justin in some coffeshop I would instantly recognize them as loving, beautiful couple. they just made for each other and no one had a chance to stand between them. even today in real ilife everytime people talk about ideal couple, I instanly think about Brian-Justin lol. great story like always!

This story had love dripping from the page. So nice to see the love between Brian and Justin through the eyes of an outsider.
So happy I decided to read anyway before going to bed.
Had a really long and tiring day. Got up at six to give the dog his walk and then on my bicycle for an hour to start at a new job. Was back at six this evening too tired to cook a meal and soaking cause it rained all the way back.

Although in retrospect, I probably didn't read the summary properly, LOL!
But in terms of concept, this scores very highly; this is not just a one-shot, but an exercise in indirect characterization; showing the reader more of Brian and Justin's relationship through the eyes of another character. It's a strong writing technique, and one that isn't used enough, in my opinion. I should use it more, too. Description is great, but other characters have insight that Brian and Justin would not notice. Your fantastic last line said it all: "It was the face of a man in love." It's kind of sad for Cam, but he knows he doesn't stand a chance against Justin.
Very nice idea, well executed. I enjoyed it!
