Lindz is gone too. She was so good for Brian and helped him become a better person.
So much drama and angst. Still loving this story despite the creep factor of it with that horrendous
Painting. "Cringe."

"He had never lasted that long before; and, he had to ponder on the amazement of that and then he quickly concluded it was just another wonder brought on by the portrait. "
That's got to hurt after a while. And wouldn't the portrait show his penis all shriveled up?

This was a very interesting chapter. I never suspected Justin would have been possessed. I also never realized the homosexual aspects of the original story. I saw the earlier black and white film and loved it. I never saw the others. I have to look at it again.
Nice job!
Author's Response: Thanks 'no sleep' for responding again. And, forgive all my typos. I'm trying to update and do my college homework at the same time. I know some places I spelled Flesh as fresh.... and forgot the 'in' in inevitable a few times; and things that I need to edit here and there.
"I never suspected Justin would have been possessed."... that is not done by accident, there are clear cut reason for that, you will discover in future chapters. As, well as when this story moves into the present day, when Brian is 212 years old and decides to end it all like he had attempted on his thirtieth birthday.
And as far as Ocar Wilde's Dorian Gray, there's a whole history regarding the story. I read that the first time he wrote the story it was to appear as a short story inside a popular aristocratic magazine; but the publishers rejected it because of it obvious bisexual content. So, he revised the story several times before they finally published it; and every time he rewrote it it became less and less obvious about it homosexual tendicies. However, he want to remain true to his original story ideal so he cleverly hinted about Dorian's bisexuality. It just the very clever reader had to read carefully between the lines.
In fact, very few people might realized but Basil Hallward the artist who painted Dorian Gray had something in common with Sybil Vane, that most people don't notice. Every letter in the word Sybil Vane is almost in the term Envy Basil.... S-Y-B-I-L V-A-N-E.... rearrange the letters and you get Envy Basil. I don't think that was mere conincidence. I think Oscar Wilde intentionally did it that way.
To the point that only the most perceptive readers could detect the bisexual content.
The 2009 version starting Ben Barnes, you can see that in its entirety on Youtube. They were I saw it. It's still posted there as far as I know. However, it's broken up into about ten sessions.

It's intriguing, original, and I really enjoy a possessed Justin, with his looks he could be the perfect Evil. Please update soon, I'm really looking forward to what will come next. I hope the evil in Justin didn't kill his parents. And what really happened to Michael? Mystery!
Author's Response: Thank you so much Andromeda, that is some flattering. Stay with me and continue to enjoy. thanks so much again for taking the time to respond.

This is first of reading of an evil Justin. I always loved The Picture of Dorian Gray and inserting Brian in that role fits perfectly.
Great job!
Author's Response: Thanks, no sleep, for taking the time to comment.
I recently read the book in my literature class and I saw three different versions of the movies, the old black and white version; and then a version that I think was made some time in the sixties, and then the most recent with Ben Barnes (2009). And, althought I'm in love with Ben Barnes I thought that version was for the dogs. The only good part was the gay kiss between Dorian (Barnes' character) and the Basil Hallward character. That kiss was HOT! But that was the only good part in whole movie in my opinion.
And, the other two verisons weren't so bad but they were afraid to deal with the gay aspect of the story. I believe the black and white version didn't even as much hint at Dorian's bisexuality; and as for the sixties version, I was a mere child when I saw that one and probably wasn't sophisticated enough to notice, but my sister claims it did hint at it. However, the 2009 version dealt with the bisexuality but, the overall movie was bad in opinion.
