Sorry for the long absence. I haven’t stopped my reading. On the contrary, and I thank you for this, it has even given me company during that long week I spent in the hospital with my little girl. And yes, those crying the other night, it was his little belly that was the cause and nothing relieved my baby. So my husband brought us to pediatric emergencies. Nothing very serious but they preferred to keep my little Maïalen for monitoring ... Now we're back at home and for sure, I’m very late in my comments. I followed the development of this beautiful story on my IPhone (most often at night because the phone is prohibited in the hospital). And my favorite author (and Mr Hamster too) were very prolific for sure. I took notes that I'm going to translate but perhaps not fully to catch up to my late...
On this one, I wonder why Joan and Claire came to this marriage... Tssss ! They knew they would be with gay people. Anyway, I love the way Rex and Emmett manage this part of Brian's family. I am happy for our two lovers and I'm also happy for Craig. He must take care of him now. Brian has proven that he would make an excellent chief.

My parents own a grocery/bar and I used to see cops have there some drinks after their duty. Now I understand why, they need to drink after dealing with those so how much ugly cases, it's disgusting and not easy to forget, if ever forgettable.

hem...I never felt comfortable when it comes to children abuses, so when it comes to children murderers, no mercy. Unfortunately, nowadays, there are more and more cases of children murders, and it hurt to think that many of them remain unresolved. Really, we should have many Justin-like in real life.
Author's Response: I got that boy's picture online and he was murdered by a drive by shooting; I changed his name however. Since this is a cop story I often borrow from real life crimes somewhat. Author's Response: It's funny how the cases happen; like three or four of the same kinds of crimes at the same time. That's common in police work. Internal Affairs have mean cops, drunk cops, sick perverted cops, and dirty cops usually. The FBI usually doesn't bother Justin anymore unless they have a bad case and need help to save someone or many. They know he has two departments and 3 dozen detectives to manage. At last I am all caught up again! Sorry but as I read it is just toooo good to stop and review at each ep! So I promise a long review to make up! Loved Justin's solution for the young boy to live with Ben and Hunter and loved Ben and Hunter's determination to look out for him and the patient way they explained how things should be in a true loving family! Also loved the way Justin handled the molestation of the girl who was mentally retarded. Maybe the money they will receive might help her get some extra help for her condition? I felt like hollaring "Go get 'em" when Justin go the 'view' of the billionaire at his evil worst! I can't wait for them to bust in and arrest him and hopefully despite his access to all the best lawyers that money can buy he will end up in jail (I nearly said being abused but I don't believe two wrongs make a right so I can't go with that instinct to wish for revenge for the boy!) Still loving your fic! Look forward to more and some time to read! I have been really busy lately and time has been very much lacking in my life - so not much time to read! Hopefully that will improve as things settle down! :)

The first part of this chapter was hot and sexy, yet romantic and emotional. Loved it. The 'slave' is always in control of the Master, and Justin realizes that without abusing it. They truly are the perfect match.
Justin is always the more emotional one, Brian more practical. I have concerns, as Brian does, about Todd. My heart goes out to the little boy, but Brian is right. He could have a lot of pychological problems. He may not be able to get off the drugs, he could be a theif, or worse. So much damage has been done to him it's hard to tell what type of person he is or if he can change. But Justin is the psychic and he saw good in Todd so I do have faith. So good of Hunter and Ben to take him in. It will be hard, again like Brian said, he's been totally sexualized at such a young age, (as is evident in his constant wanting to fuck Hunter and Ben) He said they were 'hot'. Which means at this point, he's not fucking for money, he likes it too much. Just like he likes his drugs.
It's a very nobel thing Ben and Hunter are doing, and I hope they are able to help him. Adorable pic of him! I just fear sometimes that Justin's heart gets in the way of his common sense.

To capture the magic between Brian and Justin is difficult at best but it was my goal to do that with words. Justin knew the other kids were older and stronger and could fend for themselves in the system but Todd was too small and too young for what would be his destiny in the state system. Perhaps he got a future vision of Todd with Ben and Hunter and saw it was good. Justin's keen emotions are part of his gifts mentally; they guide him on so many levels with his life and dealing with and/or for others. Thanks so much for your comments dear.
