I was kind of surprised that the cops connected Candy to Mark.  They have her DNA, not his and their's got to be hundreds of Mark Davis' in the country.  How did they know he was the right one?

I'm glad Mark has such a great support group.  B is right that they need to counter this story with one of their own quickly.  I'll be interested to see how they manage the damage control.

Looking forward to the next chapter!

Candy had a criminal record for sex crimes. They had a sample of her DNA from being in jail for prostituition. The national FBI database linked her to her family and to Mark. The cops put 2+2 together to find Mark and his father. The next chapter is half written now. Thanks so much for commenting.

Whew!  I'm very glad that Deb's going to be ok.  Carl better watch out, she's got a 24 year old set of lungs & heart.  She might kill him with her stamina.  Lol.

I was aware that organs are sold on the black market, but I didn't know that in China they harvested the organs from condemned prisoners.  Well, why not really?  I just wonder how they determine the pricing...like any other commodity based on supply and demand?  I'm just glad B&J have the money available to them to take care of Deb.

I have a donor card and wish that everyone did.  If so, sick people wouldn't have to be on waiting lists for so long and/or die unnecessarily.  Likewise, the knowledge that I could give several people the gift of life (via my heart, lungs, kidney, liver, etc) or sight, makes me feel good.  Ok, off my soapbox now *g*

Poor Carl; I hope he can handle it. I was a paramedic for 8 years in California and I could tell you some stories about how eager they are to harvest organs from marginal patients who could be saved. I won't go there but to doctors one life can save 8 to 10 so it's all about the numbers. Glad you liked the chapter. Thanks for commenting in such detail.

Wow the 100th chapter already?!  Congratulation and thank you!  I hope there will be many more.

Hobbs!  I was surprised at how easily Hobbs was able to get to J's office.  If he had intended to harm J there was nothing to prevent it, regardless of the panic button.  That said, I'm glad for the reasons he was there.  Sad that it took getting the same injury himself for the repentence/enlightenment to occur, but whatever it takes, I guess.  I bet it had to be weird for him to sit in a theater and watch Rage.  And part of his punishment will be never knowing who attacked him and that they got away with it.  Very nice of J & B to give him a job (good karma).

Oh, I'm so happy. The baby is here. I’ve tears in my eyes. I’ve never given birth by normal way but always by c-section (a first stressful in an emergency otherwise mom and baby would be dead and the second time, planned, easier...).

Family are there to welcome baby Devin (it's amazing how I love that name). The end of the year will be wonderful in Britin. Now, Lily must regain these strengths and take advantage of long periods when the baby is sleeping to rest... (well, I’m lucky, Maialen doesn’t often cry)

B&J had a good visit with Mark & Jerry.  A necessary break that helped them process what their workload will be in the upcoming months.  But I think Jerry had the right idea about Disney, they would be more cookie cutter approach than their typical clients.  They're just mammoth in size.

I liked the scene with Devin when they got home.  I was surprised Gus wasn't all over them though...he must have been taking a nap.  Is J trying to give B a stroke? Lol.  I can just picture a little girl in that house.  Two over protective fathers and older brothers.  Lily and she would have their hands full. *g*

Having your money in cash, earning a small interest rate, is a poor return next to rental properties. Taxes also cut into savings' earnings but not so bad to rental earnings. In the long run the properties will make them much more richer over time and the value of the complexes will rise and so will the rental or lease rates monthly. I lived in the SF Bay Area all my life until a few years ago and whenver I was stuck in traffic trying to get across any of the bridges, I wanted a yacht. *g*  But a helicopter would do just fine too, especially seeing the luxury and safety of this model!

You knew Gus would love the chopper.  Had to laugh about J wanting to name both birds.

So, Nancy is working in Mel's office.  Is she going to law school?  Where is her little one, Linda?

Michael may have found his twink.  Well, regardless of whether it works out or not (and I hope it does if they're good for each other), I'm glad Michael is doing a good deed.  Maybe it's a shallow question, but what does this Mark look like?  Is he a blond too?

Damn! You got me. I forgot about Linda who's in Kindergarten at Kinnetik. Of course she had to be with Nancy on the helicopter. I blew it and will go fix that. Thanks for pointing this out. I was up for hours and getting tired when I wrote that chapter. Mr. Hamster couldn't plot beta as he was crashed out. Nancy will take law classes part time during the day. Where do you come off with a line like "this is your world and you run it?" I made no mention of the first major hits by Marvel. It isn't relavant to my story. The Marvel films Blade and X-Men demonstrated that blockbuster films could be made out of comic book characters not familiar to the general public.

I remember my first day of school at 6. It was a magical moment. I guess it was hard for you to let go of him even for a few hours. Later on parents love school time and dread the summers when they are stuck with the kids all day long and they can't wait until school starts up again. Glad you liked the chapter. I check every few hours for a new chapter and you have yet to disappoint me. So much is going on - Mark's mother is being dealt with, Keith, Janet and Trey are moving in with Jerry and Mark, Justin is getting plastic surgery, Hunter joined the firm and is making his way, Justin's baby can't be far off, Mikey loves his job, Ted and Blake, Jennifer and Tucker, and more...

Lindsey worries me - I think she is going to be given permission to visit her parents in Pittsburgh - Gus isn't safe - Lindsey isn't sane. If Mikey saves Gus then maybe his position in the family will improve. He may be at the family pasta dinners but he's still on the outside. Would you give some thought to a story line including Lindsey, Gus and Mikey?

Not for nothing but that was one scary picture of Mr. Hamster.

Good writing,but as a parent l find a 13 year old having sex CREEPY.

lt was written beautifully and l would have liked it more if she was 15 but at 13 all l found it was SAD. Little girl trying to grow up. Giving up something of yourself before you even know who you are.

Grown men sitting around joking about 13 year old having sex also CREEPY.

The fact that everyone is so accepting of a CHILD having sex is beyond me.

Jusin has never struck me as dumb but he certainly earns the dumb blonde tag in my opinion for keeping his mum in the dark.

It's just a ficton story. I can say Molly and Tyler will be together for a very long time. Thank you for commenting and there will be no more scenes of them making out again in the story.

I've never understood why people even begin with meth (and like drugs), when the information has been out there for years about how addictive, physically damaging, not to mention expensive, etc., they are. *shrugs*

Poor kids, I hope this doesn't scar them for life.  At least they had the preservation instincts to speak up and get themselves out of that situation.  Although I'm surprised they (and Tammy) waited as long as they did to say something.  I'm glad that Jerry is a protective daddyand that he & Mark can give them a much more stable home life.

I'm glad Mr. Hamster looks like a familiar species now.  Lol.

It's a wicked drug and people rarely kick the habit. The kids will be fine but the mansion now has too many bad memories to live there again. Mr. Hamster is all good now since he got 1,000 reviews finally.

I really empathize with Mark about the cast.  I've had two plaster casts in my life (left arm both times) and I used a wire coat hanger to scratch the itches.  Both times I'd wake up in the middle of the night because I nearly given myself a concussion and/or broken nose (or beaned my partner).  Those things are potentially lethal!  Lol.

Too bad about Mark's mom, but he'd already dealt with the reality of her life years ago.  I agree with B, the real worry is if she figures out who Mark is now and tries to re-enter his life (for whatever reason).

I was kind of surprised that Mark was receptive to the idea of them having a child together so soon.  He's only 18 and he's had so many life changes/adjustments in such a short time, I would have thought he'd want to wait a few years.  Especially if his movie career takes off and he has to film on location somewhere far from home.  But then again, they have money and can travel as a family unit anywhere I guess.

I think Hunter's going to fall off his chair when he finds out that not only are B & J sending him out to Vegas, but they are sending him in great style.  Lol.  It's a fantasy come true!!  But I do agree with B, regarding rewarding success, not effort.  That's how the ad game is played.  And I think Hunter would want to play it straight (so to speak).

Mark passed the stress test of Jerry's kids!  I think he handled them just right.

I wore a hard cast as a child and I mostly remember how bad it itched and bothered me. Mark's mom is a bug and will be treated like one. They are only talking about a baby right now. Actors have kids all the time. Thanks for commenting very much.
