This was bound to happen sometime. A whale of a customer has a product that is difficult to sell, especially as it something the average consumer buys indirectly. Too bad you can't use all of B's idea, but knocking your competitor's product safety by name is setting yourself up for a legal nightmare not only from Airbus but possibly the flying public too, for using scare tactics (doesn't mean I didn't like it though! *g*)
They've had very little time as yet. I know they will come through. So they dazzle 'em a little first with the plane, good. What else do they have up their sleeves? Can't wait to find out!
Haha! Em is truly one of a kind! And come to think of it, so is Ted, too (in his own way). Lol.
Well, the movie was always going to create controversy, now it's guaranteed. Just think of all the free publicity coming their way. This should be fun!

Author's Response: You're very preceptive; Boeing is a tough nut to crack for Kinnetik. The best agency in the world couldn't raise their sales numbers. And you're right about the ad, legal would have cancelled much of the wording if not Boeing themselves. It was only a rough draft and an excuse to get f*cked for Justin! Author's Response: Much of my writing is actual life experiences. I've known dummys like Michael, or asshole lawyers like John. I'm in love with Brian and Justin; the characters have a chemistry together rare in the field of entertainment. I guess that's why they make excellent characters for fanfiction creations. And their love is typical of gay power couples which is how I write them but truth be told, the bottom rules in the relationship more than people know.

Author's Response: That property actually sold last year for 5.4 billion and it was a bargain at that price. I used artistic license to make our lovers very rich with it in my story. It's a very popular place to live in Mathattan New York not far from Union Station and great subway service all over the city.

Author's Response: I once owned the Meade 12" RCX-400 and those are the best telescopes Meade makes. I sold it because at over 100 pounds it was too much to take on location and set up at my old age. My scope now is only 33 pounds. I have looked at my best sight of a distant galaxy with that 20" model and it was the most amazing thing I've ever seen in a telescope. It's worth 50K easy. A friend of mine owns one; he lives outside of Dallas.

Author's Response: Most of my reviewers do like the business technicial Coffee Queen. I have to add some of it for the story to be realistic for them. I hope you understand. The stuff isn't make believe; the values are quite real; I'm an ex-landlord myself and know the business very well. When I was young I was the lover of a man in California who owned over 700 units when I met him. Embraced was very popular and quite a work to produce in only 3 months. It's the longest story on MW. I hope you like my other stories as well. The first one: "The Future of Brian and Justin" is very sci-fi and technical.

Unfortunately, metal detectors and security are a way of life these days (though they are not infallible either).
Gus may not think so at the moment, but he will have fun learning this way, as long as they make sure he still has contact with other kids until he starts school. And he can still send e-mails to his daddies during the day too. Will JR stay home too?
I think B/J need to upgrade their building insurance pronto. I hope B's sense of impending doom is just the aftershock and not a prescience of things to come.
Well, I'm happily surprised that Todd called B to apologize. And B laid it on the line of why he's in his current circumstances, which Todd acknowledged. Very good karma for B for giving Todd a job.
Kind of a sobering chapter, but life is like that. It makes you appreciate the good and fun times all the more.

Had to laugh at B's reaction to Cynthia's thank you hug and kiss. After so many years of enduring Deb's lipstick kisses, I'm not surprised he asked Cyn if she was wearing any. I'm glad he won't lose her as his PA either, after so many years together it would be like him losing one of his arms.
The consultation between J and Gus over the castle was cute. Gus is learning that sometimes the ideas are there immediately and other times it has to cook awhile or needs other people's input to bring the flash of inspiration.
A bomb! Damn that's something none of them needs reminders of. And how moronic. Randy uses a cell phone that can be traced. Likewise, what did he hope to accomplish with a bomb threat? To get a job? Duh!
Just as a side question, a few times going home or leaving home in the limo, all are present except for JR. Is she away?

Author's Response: In the show on rare moments Cynthia shows affection to Brian so it's very much with canon. She's already doing the job of CAO and now has the title and pay to go with the responsibilities. Randy was striking out in pain and not thinking about his actions. He didn't think cell phones can be traced but they can unless they are temporary phones you can buy at a convenience store. I could say JR has been sleeping but the truth is I forgot to write her in. She has been in the limo everyday.

RE deals like Les Amis are possible in a recession for investors with the cash to pull it off. Imagine being the ad company for two competing whale accounts; if you make one more successful you risk losing the other one when it's time to renew their contract. Author's Response: I studied business in college and they don't teach crap about the real world; the corporate jungle. I say college is 5% knowledge and 95% learning how to deal with the bull sh*t of the business world but the survival skills you learn on the job. I know a thing or two about making money for instance: it's easier to make the second million than it is the first $100,000. Money is like a magnet; the more you have; the more you can attract.

A lot of time, thought and imagination goes into an ad or a commerical; even a basic one. They are now billionaires on paper at least and yes they need protection. Whew! What a relief Gus is ok. It's always kind of terrifying when that kind of thing happens and your first gut instinct is not to let them out of your sight ever again, not until they're at least 40 years old! Author's Response: A jumbo balloon loan is millions of dollars due in full. If a creditor can't pay it or refinance it they lose their property which is the security for the loan. Ted the RE man (not Kinnetik Ted) is losing it with nothing to show for his investment. This way he gets something for his property. Now, in the USA during this bad recession banks will not loan money evern to people with assets and good credit. That is a credit freeze. It happened during the Great Depression too. Kinnetik is buying an 82 million dollar complex for 25 million. Yes, a real coup indeed and a cash cow; they can milk it for tons of cash like forever.

Do you know, I think yours is the first B/J story I've read that is bringing diversity into it. I'm glad as it reflects life and IMO all good fiction has some basis in fact. Love the future that is unfolding for Angel.

Author's Response: To my knowledge this is the first story with diversity too. The actors will be very hot guys; one known, one unkown. I just didn't write Ben and Hunter any lines this time. Emmett has his own place now. Debbie and Carl are alone.

Linds is in counseling for sex crimes, hopefully she will also get help for the physical abuse and her alcoholism too..

I love the banter between B & J. Mr. Kinnetik proposed and they sealed the deal over B's desk. I loved both company-wide broadcasts, very fun.

I'm glad you like my name. I'm quite fond of it myself. I'm known by 3 names on the net but Coffee Queen is my favorite. Of course occasionally it is already taken before I get to a site, I hate when that happens.
