Loved it! Certainly Brian must have some realization that Justin knew it was him before he agreed to meet "Barney". I know he thinks he can only face and express his true feelings this way, but I hope he doesn't drag poor Justin along for too long before getting brave enough to be himself without charades. Face to face meeting again will be interesting. More please! (I know, we're greedy, can't help it.)
Author's Response: Brian's pretty sure Justin knew it was him. The Barney persona is definitely helping Brian express his feelings. He won't need it forever.

Sorry I haven't been commenting! I've been reading along but school has re-started so I've been kind of consumed.
I'll admit at first I was like, "Empty warehouse? Runnn Justin" because that's kinda creepy but leave it to Brian to choose somewhere off-the-beaten-path. =]
I love how Brian admitted all of those things in their IM session and it's actually Brian and Justin talking... sometimes fics drone on and on with all sorts of crazy mishaps, like Barney actually not being Brian so I'm happy you chose to have it flow...
Fabulous chapters and, as always, can't wait for another update!

Author's Response: I'm happy you thought so. Brian left because he didn't want to blow 'his cover.' He wants Justin to remain uncertain about whether he is Barney. The only way Brian can open up now is by using the Barney persona, which wouldn't work if he revealed himself.
