I'm still working on finishing this story! Just finished 183...yeah!! WOW! I just have to say this is like confirmation for me. I am all for equality (its my middle name on Facebook!) and have a deep love and respect for the gay community. I can relate so much to the teachings of the conservative Christian community...especially being told that homosexuality is a sin. As a matter of fact this past Sunday in my Mother's Sunday School class, the teacher mentioned that homosexuals were lost souls. Suffice it to say I was like a stonewall the rest of the class and pissed. As a very liberal progressive Christian, I am soo beyond the teaching and preaching of hatred against anyone. What I don't get is that people know that historically the bible has been used to discriminate against groups of people. It was used to condone slavery, segregation and against interracial relationships amongst other things. I don't understand it. Its like society isn't happy unless some group is being discrimainated against.
There is such a "war" going on now with regards to this topic. What I love is that there are churches of all denominations that are open to everyone regardless of sexual orientation. I'm actually considering finding and joining a church like that, regardless of being "warned" by my Mother to not join those type of churches.
I actually grabbed a bible while reading this chapter and the last one to follow along with the story of Jonathan and David. I grew up in the church, but was never a big bible reader. I found this so interesting. This part of the story was so timely for me, thanks for all the research you did!
Author's Response: Once upon a time Christians were down on Jews for killing Christ. Now that's not politically correct but it's ok to put down gays. Having a segment of society to villianize raises money in the offering trays to fight the "Evil" in the world. Ad nasaeum they go on and on and on and on and on.

I will be excited about this picture too ... but NEVER, Hollywood will never have the balls to make a movie like this ... O yeah, I'm a boy with little faith! " As my sister, I scoured the Bible that we have here (the last time I’m so passionate and documented on a reading was for the Da Vinci Code) ... I can tell you that your chapters have monopolized the house here. My father showed me other items based on this subject. I like to talk with him because he is educated and interested in many things. He is loving spirituality. He fought the Catholic dogmas in which he was raised and above he rejects the narrow moral, prejudice and other inconsistencies. He knows perfectly well the Texts and can justify and support his point of view when he talks to religious ... Younger, I attended some of these exchanges with the village priest. He taught us to develop critical thinking and not follow blindly. Those who promote hatred of homosexuals using the Bible should receive a good lesson.
Great job here
Big kisses
Author's Response: I'm honored; it was just a story and some are bored with the facts.
Kisses back!

I knew the controversy about the story of David and Jonathan. I read an article written in this way in a magazine that my father subscribed to. But, I had no recollection of Jesus’ story with the roman... So I looked for this story in the ancient and modern Bibles in our collection. Read the Bible with new eyes, that's what many people should do.
My father is like you. He also thinks that the best way to take down your opponent is to use their own evidence against them
Simply brilliant, like you
Big Love
Author's Response: Forgive my late answers to your reviews; I've had major computer problems this week. I believe you'll like the end to the story.

WOW!!! I can just imagine how much time you spend to do research for this chapter. It is very informative.
Love the movie idea.
Brilliant!!!
Take care.
Author's Response: I had researched this topic years before writing the story and did more research to add it to the story making certain it was true. I want to mention to another reviewer: Jonathan did have one crippled child, a son who David placed in the royal court in agreement with his covenant with Jonatan to last to his decendants.
Thanks for your comments very much. Sadly they have dropped off considerably making me consider ending the story soon.

Hello JT, it is all right? I hope you're well, I missed you in these days and while I'm waiting I started to read again "Forever Yours": o).
Author's Response: I'm good; thanks for asking. I won't be writing as much as before since my doctor chewed me out for staying up at night and writing for you. So that and RL matters make me write slower now. I've re-read the story myself to refresh my own knowledge what I wrote.

interesting chapter!!!! very educational and biblical........
thanks and more updates to come.........
Author's Response: One thing I learned in the high school debate team was the best way to take down your opponent was to use their own evidence against them. I hope you continue to enjoy the story. Thanks very much for commenting.

I just caught up with all the chapters I've missed to date. HOLY SHIT RAGE! You ended it with a hydrogen bomb! I found a Bible and verified all your data on the stories. More research online shows that there is a great deal of debate on the interpretation of ancient Hebrew and Arabic or Roman words and there is a vast amount of evidence that the Church did fabricate the theme against homosexuality centuries later after the original Bible texts that are known (for example: The Dead Sea Scrolls). How in the hell can the Bible thumpers hide this evidence? Are most Christians that stupid not to read the truth in the Bible for themselves? Is it that hard to accept the fact that two men loved each other enough to change the course of history for all time?
The only way I see a peasant slave boy become king is on top of a prince who loves to bottom as the nakedness of his mother describes by Saul! The scripture is dead on with many quotes of how much they loved each other. Later they took wives and made kids but never said they loved the women they had kids with. David even said Jonathan was a better lover than women.
Your stories go where no one has gone before. BRAVO JTSecrets!
Author's Response: Thanks for commenting David; I've missed you.
David had several wives and kids but I think Jonathan never did and soon died in battle. I don't recall any mention of children of Jonathan in scripture. My quess is he was the bottom of their relationship and had no interest in women at all. I just wish Hollywood had the balls to make this movie true.
