Brian found her a job, paid her house… She’s useless. She is not worth bothering with… Brian is right to throw her out. John will stay with Brian, Justin and Peter.

Author's Response: Brian did give Claire enough for a coach seat on a commercial jet home. It's not much more then a bus fare anyway. He threatened her with the bus to slap her down and it worked. John's a strong boy and very smart too. The new lovers give Brian and Justin a new project to get excited about; teaching them how to get rich in real estate with some help. Author's Response: She's Joan's daughter; she can't help herself being a royal bitch. At least Joan wasn't stupid; just misguided by religion. I felt it was canon the way she was always such an attention freak like at Jack's wake crying constantly and the funeral graveside. There is still the theory that poor emotional bonds with a wise mother leave young boys looking for greater emotional attachments like them find with a boy and not a girl or woman; IMO. If a boy can go either way it can push him to the gay side very easily especially if he's cute! He gets more offers to play!
