Author's Response: Any threat to his lover is history, same goes for his kids. It's a husband and Dad thing. Instinct kicks in and nothing is beyond his ability to protect those who he loves so deeply.

Kids are sleeping, hubby too, so I take advantage of this quiet moment to join my family outside and decompress a little. I decided to sit at the big family table with a strong coffee and translate all the comments I rated these four last days (because I read religiously every update and I scribble a comment to each chapter but it’s often very late and I go to sleep so...;))
This is a great chapter... Ah la la, these magazines ! They use still low methods to get the most scandalous on the stars. Mark has a sublime support (a wonderful partner and an ultra-efficient team of PR...). I know right away Brian will come up with a brilliant idea to save the situation ...

I was kind of surprised that the cops connected Candy to Mark. They have her DNA, not his and their's got to be hundreds of Mark Davis' in the country. How did they know he was the right one?
I'm glad Mark has such a great support group. B is right that they need to counter this story with one of their own quickly. I'll be interested to see how they manage the damage control.
Looking forward to the next chapter!
Author's Response: Candy had a criminal record for sex crimes. They had a sample of her DNA from being in jail for prostituition. The national FBI database linked her to her family and to Mark. The cops put 2+2 together to find Mark and his father. The next chapter is half written now. Thanks so much for commenting.

Author's Response: The organ market in China is very real. The man who took out Candy Davis was a pro and the body is so decomposed they could barely ID it much less find any clues. The secret will never come out. Thanks alys for commenting.
