So glad Justin was ok, it could have been so much worst. Wow! Petco bouncing checks, can totally see Brian wanting to drop them like a bad habit.

Author's Response:

I couldn't hurt my favorite blond for long or very bad. Companies bouncing checks is part of doing business. I remember my family's business dealing with that crap all the time. They even got a bounced check from Texas Instruments; a multi-billion dollar company who let their account get too low. It happens. Thanks for commenting and reading Kat.

I'm crazy about Justin; he's my favorite QAF character. I couldn't seriously hurt him for long. Thanks for commenting bjhunt.

Sorry for the delay but my moms decided to make a big 'piperade' (a typical Basque dish) for tonight and they called their beloved daughter for help... Now I can go back to my reading, in front of Tomas who just come with his breakfast (it’s 16:00 pm here) but still not Gex (apparently he’s still sleeping)...

I enjoyed this new chapter. It was pleasant after the little wave of stress previously... The accident is enough gripping but I love how Justin keeps his calm, compared to Brian (but that’s quite understandable, he is worried, far and he can’t be there for Justin...). I’m very happy for Hunter. I’m sure he will make wonders.

Lots of cuddles (and also Mr Hamster)

If you go on Google Maps, we are exactly between Hendaye and St-Jean-de-Luz (closer to Hendaye). It’s the gateway to Spain, between sea and mountains. It's really a little point on the very bottom of France... Our favorite places where we work or have fun stretch from San Sebastian (Spain) to Biarritz. The Guehexan’s favorite surf spot is Guéthary. Our nights out are often in Spain, St-Jean-de-Luz and Biarritz (a town very very gay-friendly)... Well, you know now my little world... and you see why we all love our region)

Author's Response:

My mouth is watering thinking of your food. Justin has his moments and in a real emergency he's very calm but subject to delayed stress later; not so this time. Mr. Hamster loves to cuddle with you. I'm reading about your location; it's enchantingly beautiful. I love coastal towns. I lived in San Diego California for 8 years and loved it. I bet you have great  weather year around. You have a wonderful life there I'm sure.

Hugs!

Well, I'm glad that J has good instincts and ducked when he was supposed to.  Me, I would have turned around to see who was yelling and why, and be dead. *g*  Sounds like the truck took the brunt of it.  Glad J's ok.

I can picture J taking care of business under the truck, but then again I could picture B doing the same.  I mean really, if you're all right and have to wait to be unpinned, what else you gonna do? Lol.  And I sympathize with him about his shirt...why are we always wearing our favorites when shit happens?  I guess so that other wearables get a chance to become a new favorite.

I'm happy for Hunter, this is a sweet deal and now he can concentrate on his future instead of worry about finding the money to cover his meds (I'm sure Ben will be happy & relieved as well).  Curious to see how he works out as an ad monkey.  Will he get salad or bananas? *g*

I'm with B, regardless of J's assurances, I would have been on my way home too.

I bet business situations as with Petco happen more often than the general public is aware of (and especially more so with an economy as we have now).

Jerry & Mark are good friends.

Good chapter!

Author's Response:

I'm always deeply honored when a reviewer leaves a detailed lenghtly comment. It shows your investment in my story and that is a true honor. Justin could also hear the lighting bar coming down albeit he didn't know what it was. Hunter will surprise them; bananas. Brian couldn't get out of Atlanta quick enough. You're so right about businesses bouncing checks. Jerry and Mark are like best friends with Brian and Justin as they are so much alike and help each other so much. Imagine; the fact long ago they took pity on a billionaire who needed a little help coming out and how it changed their business success and their lives. Such connectons happen like that in the real gay world. Thank you so much for your great review cakdg.

Sooo...glad Jus is ok.

Thank you for the reality check... shit happens.

Kiss, kiss

Author's Response:

It's been one of my favorite phrases since I was a kid and so true. Brian is thinking how to keep his boy safe at work now.

Kisses back!

Your description of the accident is very realistic. There should have been some kind of safety back up system for the main brake.

Author's Response:

The new lighting hoist will be much safer. Thanks for commenting and reviewing all your chapters read.

Glad Justin is okay.  Still loving the story.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reviewing. It reminded me I forgot the dedication for you for being the 900th reviewer. I fixed that and it's up now. I was so busy on the next chapter I spaced it out. You're a sweet heart to review and rate for me.

justin like justin to talk on the phone while he's pinned down <grin> love that Hunter got hired w/ benefits

Author's Response:

I guess being pinned down is normal for a bottom. Hunter will be a surprising employee. Thanks for commenting alys.
