Author's Response: Hunter was very smart to use eBay for the comics individually. Michael will be very good now in the story; other people will be other wise. RE deals like Les Amis are possible in a recession for investors with the cash to pull it off. It's common for cash rich investors to double or triple their equity wealth during a recession and taking advantage of other investors failures.

Author's Response: A jumbo balloon loan is millions of dollars due in full. If a creditor can't pay it or refinance it they lose their property which is the security for the loan. Ted the RE man (not Kinnetik Ted) is losing it with nothing to show for his investment. This way he gets something for his property. Now, in the USA during this bad recession banks will not loan money evern to people with assets and good credit. That is a credit freeze. It happened during the Great Depression too. Kinnetik is buying an 82 million dollar complex for 25 million. Yes, a real coup indeed and a cash cow; they can milk it for tons of cash like forever.

Author's Response: I should have made it more clear in the chapter; it was a different Ted; I was thinking of a real estate tycoon I know named Ted. I spaced out Ted Schmitt totally. Thanks for pointing that out to me; I'll go add a last name to clear it up.
