That's a lot of money coming and going.  Glad to see Gus was all right and that Kinney Kiddy land will be getting more help.

That is one awesome building.  Kinnetik Towers is LOOKING GOOD!!!

Author's Response:

That's the tallest building in Pittsburgh.

First, nice building......

Another good chapter!

Kinnetik is just chugging along.

Things are moving pretty quickly. Kata in an hour?!

Oh, one last thing........ MAYO is the best, yuck for Miracle Whip! He-he, had to say it!! Thought it was funny you used Miracle Whip, it's a big debate in my family!

Thanks again for sharing your story w/ us!

Author's Response:

That's my mother's recipe and I've ate it for decades. No matter how much she made it was never left over. Thanks Susan and you can use mayo if you like; it makes no big difference except the Miracle Whip and sugar has a very nice flavor together.

Yeah!! Just what I was hoping for with Vangard!! Throwing in the towel. What a day for Kinnetic! Glad Gus Gus is ok!

Author's Response:

Now that he's in the drain Mel moves in for the kill. Gus is a child who will do things creating an emergency in seconds. He's a kid; that his job. Thank you Kat.

Whew!  What a relief Gus is ok.  It's always kind of terrifying when that kind of thing happens and your first gut instinct is not to let them out of your sight ever again, not until they're at least 40 years old!  But then reality sets in, you breathe and you go on.  Although with 18 kids, I'm glad they will get extra help.

Ha!  Vance calling B to ask him to basically bail him out.  That feels so right, somehow, you know?  Very satisfying...

That's a handsome and dare I say sexy looking building.  The Kinnetik name will look very good across the top.

And Mel's practice will look so much more professional located there too.

Another goody!  On to the next...

Author's Response:

I cramped my fingers answering all your reviews tonight but I'm not complaining!!!!!! I'm so grateful for you taking the time to comment each chapter. The chapters are shorter and should go quicker for you. Vance will prove to be an asset. Mel will have tons of busniess there and all of Jennifer's real estate deals. The tower is the real thing in the picture; it 's a beautiful building and the tallest in PA and the 33rd tallest in the USA now.

Ok, nothing serious for Gus... I know it’s stressful the first time, but after, you become a super-mom, highly trained… The number of times Txabi swallowed a piece, a battery… He was a real moneybox... We can’t wrap our children in cotton wool. Even if you are ultra attentive, you can’t steer clear of all dangers. Last summer, my young boy ate small pieces of fruits (soaked in wine) at the bottom of the bowl of Sangria. We didn’t see him sneaking in behind us… So, 5 years old and he got plastered !!! We learn from our mistakes ...

Big kisses

Author's Response:

What happened to Gus happened to me as a small boy and my father picked me up by my ankles and knocked the penny out of my mouth. There is where I had the idea. He slapped the shit out of me saving my life. Yep, kids.

Kisses back.

Love it! I'm glad Gus was ok.

Author's Response:

Just a minor cliffie dear. I love Gus too much to hurt him. Kids will be kids.

OK, stress falls ... Ah, those kids! You have to be on the lookout all the time because accidents happen very fast. We are here all qualified in emergency first aid (Even grandads & grannies).

Our two lovers are in the process of conquering the world without bloodshed. It's great.

I loved it

Great job

Author's Response:

At least you didn't have to wait to end the Gus Cliff hanger! Just another minor emergency with a child. Business take overs are common; this was going to be a business raping instead of a take over! Brian gets his revenge for Vance firing him.

I love your writing, I really do, but was just not right the way Brian handled the Gus thing.  It was almost like he was to busy to care, not at all the way he usually is with Gus.

Author's Response:

Huh? Brian made very sure his son was ok and out of danger. He didn't over react or under-react. Gus wasn't out long enough to be harmed. Have you ever dealt with kids? Swallowing and choking is very common and easy to fix. If Brian and Carl; a man who is a very good judge of an emergency felt that Gus was in the slightest danger they would have called for the paramedics. Gus was conscious, talking, reasonable, conherent. and even giving excuses for his actions and being sorry.

Brian could have spent the day in the nursery instead of working. Would you prefer that? Was it necessary?

Thank you for your concerns; perhaps I failed to show his compassion enough but it was all there.

I realize this is just a story but hopefully you will NOT really have peole do this, "rob the company client retainers and pension fund, fire the staff, steal the clients and give Vance a small pension with a kick in the ass out the door?"

That is very, very unethical adn not good business practices at all.  Lets show people doing the right thing, ok?

Author's Response:

Brian and Ted were having fun talking!  Did you think they were serious?

Remember Vance fired Brian and almost destroyed him. Let the story unfold before passing judgment yet. Yes, it's just a story but Brian took on 20 million of work for less than 5 million cash, and some used furniture, equipment, and whatever Mel can salvage there. There is no pension fund to rob. Brian is obligated to perform for the clients. Most of the staff will be fired=fact of life in business takeovers.Kinnetik doesn't need them.

Vance gets a very small pension and a few surprises not yet revealed but totally legal. The right things and the profitable think in not the same when a company is  going down. Kinnetik isn't responsible for Vance's credit problems. Brian's a hero for saving Vangard's client's butts. The rule of thumb in a take over is maximize profit and limit libilities. Duh? Business 101 will teach that the first semester in college.

Fuhh!! Gus is ok, thank you to Grandpa Carl. It feel so good to see Kinnetik become larger & larger. Kinnetik Tower, WOW!!

Geart chapter.

Thank you Mr hamster for working overtime.

Excellent as always JT.

Author's Response:

The hamster jumps out of his wheel, takes a low bow, and jumps back in spinning out the next chapter.

"Squeak!" (trans: Thank you for reviewing complicated)

Glad Gus is ok. Sounds like the bucks are about to pour in. I like the side bar scenes with Mark too. Taking over Vangard is a genius plot idea. They truly are Titans of the Universe. Good work JT.

Author's Response:

Thank you! Success is like a magnet. Those who are successful attract more business to themselves. The day Vance fired Brian he sealed his fate to one day go under. More next chapter.

Phewww...thank goodness Gus is alright. You got me scared for a minute or two.

Keep up the good work...waiting for upcoming chapters. ;-)

Author's Response:

Thanks kwil. I'd never hurt our baby Gus. This is just part of having kids. Thank you for reading and commenting.
