Oh my. Michael didn't get away with what he did. Love it.

I REALLY hate to say this, I didn't like this chapter very much. I really don't see the need for Mel & Hunter to attack Michael.
I sort of understand where it's coming from and at the same time, it just bothers me.
I do like Justin still helping him. I also like how Brian didn't go there, even though I feel he had more of right/reason to than either Mel or Hunter.
Author's Response: I appricate your honest comments. Others had some of the same feelings as you do about this chapter. This was the last punishment for Michael; mostly he will improve now with I think one more mess up on the way. I promise that things will get better for Michael. Mel had his kid and Hunter was his son; both were deeply hurt by Michael's actions. Brian refrained from attacking the man for Debbie's sake. Thank you for commenting Susan.

DAAAAYUM!! The family really knows how to put a hurtin on someone. I knew this evening at Debs was going to be intense!!
Author's Response: Considering what Michael did and that Justin nearly died because of it; he got off easy in my opinion. Who better to put a curse on you than the mother of your child and kick your ass than you own son. Yeah, Michael learned a valuable lesson at Debbie's house that day. Thanks for commenting Kat.

Well, Michael knew throughout the dinner things were going too easy... maybe some of the prior hits did knock some sense into him. Ya think?
I loved the punishment Mel meted out, very appropriate. However, I felt that Hunter's was a bit over the top, violence-wise. Hunter alwasy struck me (no pun intended) as more mouth, than fists.
Great chapter on to the next...
Author's Response: I was pushing canon a bit with Hunter there but it was fun to write. If you think about it; who else to weld the punishment; Brian? He didn't want to get his clothes dirty or upset Debbie. Glad you liked it otherwise. Michael is punished and that is over now.

No really, I enjoyed this chapter but I shouldn’t. Oh no, poor Michael ! Ok, he's a stupid idiot, he messed strongly around but he didn’t deserve it. A good bawling out would be enough. OMG, I still smile just by imagining Mel. I love her...
Excellent as always
Author's Response: I promise that no one named Michael was actually harmed in the writing of this fiction novel. I'm a Mel lover my self. I love a smart strong woman with great respect. Watch the review count.

i thought everyone would rip into him, but i guess mel and hunter did a good enough job.
yay the wedding.
Author's Response: Mel got a heads up from Brian that Micahael was coming and she called Hunter and hatched her plan. Mostly everyone else held back for Debbie's sake. Debbie didn't want to hear Mel telling Michael off so they got out of there. They didn't expect Hunter to get violent however. Thank you very much for reviewing and commenting sjmpets3.

Superb. I really had the feeling to be with them around the table... I'd like to have been outside with Mel. I definitely see her doing this and Hunter too. Although, in that case, I don't know if I could beat my father but maybe I will... When you are deeply hurt, disappointed, angry, the situation can be out of your control and sometimes you can have gestures or words extremely violent. Brian wants Justin stays out of their quarrel, good cause this settling of scores was necessary. Well, even if Michael isn't expecting a standing ovation, he hadn't anticipated a meeting with Mel Tyson or Hunter de la Hoya ;).... In any case, I really loved this chapter. I'm OK with Complicated, you are a genius
Love
Gehexan
Author's Response: Wow! Woke up to find 10 roses and only 1 stone thrown. Thanks for commenting Gehexan. I'm very happy the chapter entertained you. Michael knew he was in for it; he just wasn't sure what "it" was. The dealing with Michael is over and the family can sort of get back to normal.

I am sorry but I thought what Hunter did was 100% percent wrong. Michael was good to Hunter and while I blieve he should have has he say violence was not the answer and for him to be proud that he knocked a man out and sent him to the hospital was sicke to read. I am sorry but Hunter is and will always be a sad little punk.
Rie
Author's Response: Thank you for sharing your feelings Rie. This is fiction and nobody named Michael was harmed in the writing of this story.

Brilliant! I can feel all the anger, all the hurts, all the love and everything in between from everyone at Deb's all at once. And I can't tell you what I'm feeling right now or why I'm crying.
But I know one thing for sure, YOU ARE GENIUS!!!
This is keep playing in my head...
"forgiave, sound good, forget, I'm not sure I could, they say time heals everything, but I'm still waiting, I'm through with doubt, there's nothing left for me to figure out, I've paid a price, and I'll keep paying, I'm not ready to make nice, I'm not ready to back down, I'm still mad as hell, and I don't have time to go round and round and round...."
Love you.
Author's Response: You are too kind complicated; thank you very much. I'm delighted this chapter entertained you. Your reviews motivate me to write more for you.

Poor Mikey, but he desreved it!
Can't wait for the wedding. :D :D :D
Author's Response: Thank you kwil for commenting. I have to sleep now and write the wedding chapter tomorrow. I also have more research to do for that chapter to accomplish and make it good for you.

hahahaha, good on mel and hunter.. michael got what was coming to him. i totally loved this chapter.. it rocked JT..
Author's Response: Hehehehehehehe!!! Thanks so much Lesley; Michael bashing is always a very popular event especially when he richly deserves it. It just seems so in character for Mel to condemn the man and for the street tough son Hunter to pay him back for dishonoring their little family. Michael will think twice before being stupid again.

daaaam mikey got a beat down... go hunter..
Author's Response: A Jewish curse and a major beatdown; thanks nicole for letting me know you approved of Hunter's actions.
