Claire is so lucky that Brian is willing to help her. It's nice that Justin is helping the painters by giving them a job. The ending added suspense.

What a cliff hanger!!! Brian has gone beyond the call of duty helping his sister Clair. Now Justin is giving his dad some business. Bet Craig's gonna be jealous once he gets a load of Britin.

Aaagh a cliff hanger! You couldn't let me revel in imagining Craig's reactions to Britin could you? Well, that's one benefit of me coming late to your story, I don't have to wait to find out what happened the next chapter is there (not that you make us wait too long anyway).
I hope Carl's going to be all right, because I don't think Deb can take much more. Also, not to be mean, but if Carl was so unprepared for the guy to pull a gun, he should probably retire, too.
Well, between Joan, Claire and Craig, they prove the old adage that you can't pick your family, otherwise they would have been left by the wayside long ago (if chosen in the first place). But what B did for Claire was very nice.
Nice touch with Michael, seeing that copy of the check and what he could have had, if only...
Ok, rushing off to the next.
Author's Response: I try not to overdo the cliffies but I feel a few of them make for a good read. Debbie has plans for Carl's retirement. Justin has plans for his father; he's an angel with a halo held up by horns. Brian loved rubbing the check in Michael's face.

Brian has really a huge heart and he is family-minded. Financial assistance and a job for his sister, just that. It's so true she and her mother are wonderful with him ... In his place, I won't even lifted a finger. Nada, nothing. They were really lucky and he gets a simple thank you! Well, Claire should grovel in front of him ... Pfff!
Fortunately I haven't to wait and see what happens to Carl. Poor Debbie, it's a shock

Author's Response: Thank you Ihintza. The good thing is you don't have to wait for an update now! Brian could have told his family to kick rocks but then he would a worse set of problems to deal with. This way he moves some money around, calls in a favor and family crisis solved and he'll make money in the long run. Brian's not stupid. Thanks so much for reviewing; they truly are very important to my inspiration.

Author's Response: Thank you very much Susan for your comments and review. You can read later that Carl will be ok. I had to sneak that cliffie in there (makes an evil grin...). Gus is so adorable I love writing him in the story and he will remain a major character throughout.

OK, I was lmbao when Michael got that scanned copy of the Marvel million dollar check made out to Justin. That was hilarious!!! I had to read it twice!!
