I know Lindsay was good to Justin initially, but then I felt like she became possessive of Brian and wanted to separate the two of them, as well as living vicariously through Justin as an artist in NYC. Personally, I liked Mel far more than Linsday.

“Goodbye Michael.” Justin said as Brian just stared at his old friend as he left the diner.
“Don’t trust him Justin; I can see it in his eyes when he’s up to something.”
“He asked me out tonight for drinks.”
“Did he ask for both of us to go?”
“No just me Brian.”
“Don’t do it. I’m taking him out of our lives completely. Our friendship is over.”
This was shockingly abrupt, and really without warning. Mikey hasn't done anything different at all than what he always does. I guess Brian just had enough and HE has changed in how he is handling things.
The ending makes me so sad. :(

I've read so many stories with Mel as the bad guy but i love that you made her be the one who loves Gus.
Lyndsay has a way of appearing all nice but be a real bitch at the same time and i hate that.

I will admit I've made Mel the good guy and the bad guy in my stories depending on the plot. Mel is the good guy in this one.

I like J's team concept for running the art dept. The competition aspect is very clever, how can the company lose?
I'm glad Gus is coming home (not the reason) but better get him out of that situation so that he can be protected, especially if both women are drinking.
Michael has a plan, this can't be a good thing. And he wants to go out with J without B...since when? That alone should raise suspicions.

Love Justin's ideas for the art department. You can already feel a huge change in the atomosphere. This is so true to life, one person can really make a difference, good or bad, in an office.

Green Apples – green apples symbolizes the promise of well-deserved reward and shows the achievement of harmonious balance in your life.
Apples and apple trees are symbolic of the guarantee of immortality in Irish tradition (Brian), and the apple tree is universally esteemed as a holy tree.
Apples also symbolizes love and sexuality. + then the simple fact that Brian loves his apples green (which of course isn’t a coincidence to start with).
Golden Gardenias – Well, you know that one. Justin wants them for their wedding in season five. There is a Chinese legend that says if you lover inhales their scent he’ll/she’ll love you forever.
The swirls and title of the fic together forms an infinity symbol. Infinity, forever… Well, that one was a given if you see it.
I gave the banner a bit grungy edges to symbolize their past. The green in it (the apples) symbolizes a new beginning.
White is as you probably know symbolic for the absolute beginning and black for the end, so the background is light gray (a blend between white and black) to show that they’ve started their journey in life as a couple, but are no where near the end.
The drawing in it is one of mine that I’ve made and scanned. It’s from the “nipple fuck scene” in 107, to hint to the passion and heat that’s been there from the start.
Gus, Justin and Brian are there just because.

Somethings rotten in the state of Denmark, :( Poor Gus, I can only imagine the kind of partnership that Brian Justin and Mel could form for the kids, especially since Mikeys being such an ass. ow nig of a part do u expect Mel to play in the story? Its funny how Linds was accusing Mel of being an abusive mother, yet picks up her life and leaves JR with the "abuser", without expressing any concern or hesitation at all. That definitley sends up some major red flags, neither Brian or Justin is stupid. I really liked Gus' interaction with Justin in this chapter too, just awesome.
