With his therapist'help Brian finally was able to tell Debbie exactly how he felt and take her a chance.After that I wonder why he did not give a chance to Justin it was also time to put his life in order with the children.

Brian said some things that have been long overdue and needed to be said - good for him!

I think we're forgetting one thing concerning Justin: We know from Back for Good that the situation with Justin was completely different than the one with Debbie. The situation with Justin was never about broken trust and we know that Brian for a long time after Justin's return still thought he had done the right thing for Justin and his career. Brian is absolutely sure he has been doing the right thing for Justin and only realised the error of his ways when Justin was back and he saw the pain he had caused the love of his life day in and out. For Brian there is no reason at all to think about Justin as in his mind he has done what needed to be done and Justin is happy in New York with his career. For Brian there is no reason to contact Justin, all it would achieve would be to pull Justin away from the career he deserves and Brian would never do that.

Brian seeing the therapist was a good step.  Having Ted not tell him what he should do was another good one.

Brian really needs some therapy in his life - it helps him so much in the long run :)

And Ted once again proves what a good friend he really is.
