I resisted reading this part of your story because I didn't want to see Brian's side. Once you had B&J reconcile I decided to take a look at the dark side. I really enjoyed this story and finding out what Brian was going through. I still think Brian & Jennifer are rats for hiding Luke's existence but still a great story!!!! Bill

I totally understand why this story might not be everyone's cup of tea. It features no Justin, it shows Brian and the family at their worst... I totally expected that way fewer people would read it, but when I wrote Back for Good, I figured that there were parts of the backstory that deserved more attention and a deeper focus which wouldn't have worked in Back for Good, so it was really exciting for me to write this companion piece at the same time.

I don't disagree about what Brian and Jennifer did to Justin - I am right with you :(

Things are getting better for Gus and Brian too. Ted shows Brian what a true friend is without being intrusive. Great chapter.

And it was time that Brian learned what real friendship is like and how a real friend behaves!

Love that Brian is getting help and that he realizes that Ted is the friend he always thought Michael was.

It was long overdue that Brian talked to a therapist as well... And yes, Brian needed to see what a real friend is like :)
