It is a shame that women like Lindesy, Mel and Joan Kinney are able to have kids when some wunderful women who would be great mothers are unable to consive

Author's Response:

So True.  There are so many women who want children and are great mothers.  Unfortunately, there is no required resume to be a parent.

That was a great visit with the guys for Ben and J.R., he really needed that and to see how the kids were. I loved him teaching Jenny about the food pyramid all kids should know about that an h made it fun for her. I’m very sad at how Micheal is, he needs to grow up I swear I have no clue what goes through that mans head. I hope Ben get custody she needs a good home.

Fantastic work c

Wow J.R. is lucky to have 3 men who are realizing her childhood memories are at risk. I do not see Michaels reaction being anything but bad. Omg the girls are going to go nuts!

Author's Response:

My muse hasn't decided what the girls or Michael will do.  At least the men agree that J.R. deserves a happy childhood.

Such a good chapter. The food pyramid discussion really made me laugh. Everyone knows 🍞 and pasta are bad to eat now. Are you going to write a new story about Ben's struggle?

Author's Response:

Hadn't really thought about a separate story regarding Ben, but I'm not ruling that out.  I still prefer Justin and Brian so after this arc, I will have to go back to the Kinneys.

Ben will be a good father to J.R.  she really got the short end of the stick with her biological parents.  Mel is so hard on her and Michael is so selfish.  I’m hoping Ben does leave him.

Author's Response:

Every child should be wanted and I think J.R. was always a baby that was conceived to prove a point rather than out of love.

I hope that Ben gets some sort of custody of Jenny and then leaves Michael in the dust.

Author's Response:

Ben loves her and let's hope that he gets to stay involved.

It will be interesting to see what Michael has to say.  I am sure that Ben will be alone to take care of JR.  I think that is a better alterative any way.  Justin and Brian will be there for him and help him be a good parent.

Author's Response:

Michael is the wild card here.  It should be an interesting conversation.

Loved this chapter.  It is nice that Ben cares about JR.  Can't wait to see how the discussion with Michael goes.  I'm sure Debbie will weigh in on it.  Thank goodness Brian and Justin are for backing team Ben.  I think Emmett and Ted would be a support as well.

Author's Response:

I'm not too sure what Michael will think.  He balked at having Hunter and I think this may be even more difficult.  Like you said, Brian and Justin are on his side. (

Good Morning Darling! I was so happy to receive my update email, I could've cried. Instead I settled into my happy dance (think Snoopy), grabbed my coffee and blanket, and then settled in to read the last two chapters on the deck in the backyard. It's still a bit chilly up here in Rochester, NY (43 degrees) and Mother Nature NEEDS her damn Prozac. Someone should remind Father Time that she's gotten her damn Seasons mixed up again and he needs to give her the damn meds! Now for my review...

GIRLLLLLL!! Girl! Honey, I could just chew and spew nails at Michael, Mel and Lindsay! Talk about pissing me off to the point that I am pre-writing death scenes in my head... The neglect and disinterest that J.R. has been, and continues to be shown is both heartbreaking and anger-inducing. Basically she is being treated like a 'PAWN' and a 'CHECK' by the most selfish, self-absorbed idiots to ever be written about within the fandom EVER! I was really happy when Sam imparted the news to Brian about Ben's chances of getting permanent custody of Jenny. Now only if he can pass custody of Michael back to his Mama, all would be right in Ben's world.

I think Ben has the right idea that he and Michael will NOT work! I still can't figure out how men as intelligent and culturally-aware as David and Ben ended up falling for Michael. I know that in theory opposites attract but DAMN! Anyway, I digress... Ben is finally understanding that 'supposed' innocence does lose its charm eventually. That Michael won't even try to mature should tell him all he needs to know about the fate of his mismatched marriage. I say he should drop the zero, find him a hero and raise HIS daughter (she sure as hell isn't one to the other parents- just a maid and a toy). Hopefully, Debbie won't run true to form in her defense of her overgrown baby (insert lip curl here) but if she does, please write me into the story so I can kick some sight and sense into her. It's definitely long overdue if she continues to be blind to the faults of that whiny man!

I'm also hoping that when, not if (yep, I'm putting in my plug, LOL) Ben gets custody of Jenny that Mel and Lindsay are either ordered to pay Ben child support or have their parental rights revoked. Honestly, like Joan Kinney, the two of them shouldn't be allowed to raise a damn cactus, much less another human being. Those types of 'mothers' are just plain toxic to the idea of growing up with a sound mind. Too bad they can't be put in jail because their obvious neglect isn't physical; it's emotional, which in reality much worse, but also harder to prove. So at this point, I'm just looking forward to their comeuppance whatever form it takes.

Happy Writing and HUGS,

~Nichelle

Author's Response:

Nichelle.  First, let me tell you your review was amazing.  Ben is finally coming to his senses regarding Michael.  He had some trepidation regarding pushing for parenthood , but I think he is ready.

My normal happy dance when I got my update email.  WOW things are erally up in the air for Ben, he has a lot to figure out.  Very sad to hear JR talk about her current home life.  L & M really are incredibly selfish.  Thanks for another great chapter!!!!!!!!!  Bill
