Good on you Brian, putting your son first is the sign of a great parent. Lindsey jumped into his idea so fast she really didn’t think did she. I do think we will have a major blow up when Mel finds out. I am worried. Gus is so happy with his dads and the way Brian and Juatin are with him is how it needs to be.

Wonderful work as always x

Author's Response:

Gus is very happy and that is the ultimate goal

No one likes Lindsay not even Mel.  She is really about as bad as Michael and he is idiot personififed. Good chapter.  The wheels are turning and not in Lindsay's direction.

Author's Response:

I'm not a Lindsay fan-  always felt that the munchers were manipulative and only wanted Brian for his money.   I write her the way I see her character.

I can't understand Linz's half ass attention to Gus, she fought tooth and nail for Brian to be the father and when he is no longer a baby she just uses him to watch another child they shouldn't have had. They are to self centered to be raising children who still need their parents.

Author's Response:

I think for Lindsay is the idea that she would have Brian's child- keeping her tied to him forever.  But then the reality hit and she realized that a child is a full time job and I've always felt that she was raised by a nanny and had bery little parental interaction ( hence the continuing need for their acceptance).  So when Gus was no longer the cute baby for everybody to ooh and ahh over and needed her time, she decided that she was really too busy.  Not being able to afford a nanny, the next best thing was to involve Brian who was always asking to be more involved in Gus' life.  Perfect solution, but now things are going to get dicey.

Hope Mel doesn't become a problem for the little family. Love how Brian talked Lindsey over. Really calm on the outside. Still loving this story.

My muse hasn't decided what will happen next.  I think Mel causing a stink may happen but then again.... well , we'll have to see.  Thanks for letting me know you are enjoying hte story

My dislike for Lindsay is right there with you.  Good job Brian getting Lindsay to let Gus stay all night.  Now we will have to see how this pans out.  Can't believe Mel will agree even though she does want him under foot.

Author's Response:

Brian is slick- and LIndsay is vain.  Interesting combination

I have missed this story. Brian and Justin seem to have taken charge and became great parents and role models.

Author's Response:

so glad that you are enjoying the story.  Brian and Justin understand what it is like to be good parents. Brian knows what bad parenting is and Justin had good role modesl until he was a teen.

Lindsay is clueless.  I wonder if Mel will just be as relieved as Lindsay to not have to take care of Gus.  Great chapter.  All this intrigue will be hard for a 10 year old Gus to cope with.  Hope everything works out for the best.  Was really happy to see an update!!!!  Bill

Lindsay is more concerned about her job than her son.  I always wondered if they would have had children if Brian wasn't in the picture.  if there was no Brian, would LIndsay have insisted on having a child?  I'm not so sure it would have happened.
