A mixture of sad and happy tears in this chapter. My heart is broken for how Gus is getting treated by his mothers. I think he would be better living with his dads as they treat him so much better. I love the bond between him and Justin that has moved me beyond anything. You truly did yourself so proud with that. As for Lindsey the bitch slap 👋 is back for her grrrrr.

I don't understand Linz, she seems to keep Gus close as a barganing chip to get the money she wants from Brian. Yet she really doesn't use Gus for much except as a baby sitter for JR who is trial for anyone. Gus needs someone to let him be a child and that's exactly what his dads do. great update and a wonderful story.
Author's Response: I think Gus is a tool to Lindsay- a way to keep her fantasy of hetero life with Brian - the Dad, Lindsay the mom and Gus the baby. He is a bargaining chip to keep her fantasies alive.

I'm really glad you're still writing this. I have had a talk with your muse and she said that it's to soon to end this and to continue to keep going with this story. She also told me that you should write a sequel when you finally finish this one. But that won't be for a while. Sorry I bribed her with some baked Goods! Lol we don't want this story to end. We love the interactions with the parents and the kids. More please!
Author's Response: Thank you and I appreciate you letting me know you are enjoying the story. My muses must like the story as well as they keep whispering more stories in my ear. Unfortunately, life is super busy and I don't have nearly teh time I used to have to write, but patience will bring a new chapter. It is half way written so hoepfully in another week or so it will be finished so my awesome beta can read it through.

It's disappointing to see that the girls treat Gus like a babysitter rather then their first born son. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when Justin has that discussion about that. Love how Justin and Brian take time out for Gus. I'm sure Colin is loving his big brother singing to him.
Author's Response: It is disappointing, but I think LIndsay caves into Mel and since Mel really resents Brian's part in Gus' life, he allows Gus to shoulder the responsibility of being a babysitter.

Justin is so tired of Lindsay's manipulations, and especially when Brian isn't around, he doesn't hesitate to tell her off. It should be interesting to see what they do about the situation.

Really REALLY am enjoying this! I loved the way Justin put Lindsey in her place! Witch! Gus' side of things really broke my heart. Mel and Lindz are basically treating him like a built-in babysitter. How about giving her 'father' some ACTUAL responsibility?! But NOOOoooooo that's too much like doing the RIGHT thing! I find it absolutely appalling that with all of Lindsay's judgmental bullcrap and sanctimonious pronouncements that SHE and her partner the ones actually being neglectful of their child's needs, not Brian and Justin. I can't wait for that crow-sized helping of humble pie to be served up to Lindsey!

I have always thought she was very manipulative of Brian. I'm so happy that you are enjoying the story- even though it is taking a long time to write. At least my posts are getting more regular now.
