Loving this! My heart goes to Justin. It is so sad to see him like that. Brian **Sigh ** the part about him saying he could never hate Justin just melt my heart :)
Author's Response: Oh good! Yeah, his depression and conditions are taking tolls on him, but there will be some lighter moments to come, I promise. :) As for Brian, I feel like he's the type of person where once they let you in, you're in for good (and Justin is definitely in). Thanks so much!

Powerful update! I'm sorry that the plan with Gus didn't work out... it seemed like it was a good idea. Sad to see how lonely and desperate Justin really is.
Curious now if the title is a reference to the Alfred Hitchcock movie, since Justin spends so much time looking out that window.

On Archive of our own I said that it was a movie adaptation and I thought I had here as well, but I'll go do that now. :) Thanks!

Shame about your internet. Poor Justin. In a way he's right about possibly upsetting Gus. But it would have been interesting to see if Gus' presence made a difference. Want to know more.
Author's Response: Yeah I was less than pleased. Luckily, apparently calling and complaining enough will get you what you want because I was able to move up my appointment to fix it a whole week! :) As for Justin, he has a long road of recovery ahead of him. Thanks so much!

Still loving the story. I feel bad for Brian to be that frustrated that he wants to help his boy so bad. I hope he finds a way really soon. And Justin so feeling bad about him self I hope he gets to feel some happiness soon, even a little for now! And who the heck is our mystery kid? Lol
Author's Response: Oh I'm glad! It's always a relief to heart when it's being well-received. And Brian is pretty determined, he isn't going to give up on Justin after one snaffu. Well didn’t Lindsay just fuck everything up. What part of call first didn’t she get? It's a shame that Brian had to turn Gus away because of the actions of others. I hope Justin will start to be on the mend, and we can find out who the mystery person is...I have my suspicions but...
