What a great chapter. I so agree with all that was said about bullying. And, so often it is true that they learn it from the parents. How dare Anthony try to sucker punch Brian! Glad J. was watching. Anyway, I enjoyed very much reading about the Halloween outing and about John and Peter's activities. I laughed out loud over the Grim Reaper...brought back memories of similar incidences from when I was a kid. My mother was the biggest prankster in the world. No one was safe when she was around. On to the next chapter. Thanks.
Author's Response: Glad you are still enjoying the story. Bullies are BAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! My mother would sometimes hide in the closet when I came home from sschool and when I went to hang up my coat she would scream. I fell for it every time!!! Thanks for the review. I LOVE to get them!!!!!!!! Bill

Hi, Bill! As usual, I'm playing catchup here.;) Readers are ecstatic you're continuing this fascinating journey with John, Peter, Alice, and so many other original characters, in addition to the ones we know and love. The only fly in the ointment is Lindsay. Talk about unstable! It will be interesting to see where you take her character ultimately.
Loved the playfulness and sexiness in this chapter! Things are moving along for another little one. I think they made the right decision in a surrogate; Justin always has had good instincts.;)
As usual, I'll be looking forward to more. Thanks again for agreeing to post on here; we are very lucky to have you as a writer. ~Kim
Author's Response: Hi Kim, always happy to know you read an enjoyed my story!!!!!!!!!!! I love Midnight Whispers and really enjoy all the feedbaclk from the readers. Thanks you so much for all your support!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

Was over the moon happy to see Brian involved with the Halloween. I really don't think he was as unenthusiastic as he wanted to portray himself as. :) Jenn is teh best Grandmom ever. So sweet with the little gift bags and $ for all the boys.
The Grimm Reaper thing was funny! So something I would (and have done) to my own kid and her friends.
I really liked how the bullying issue with Tony was handled. While, I really disllike using the word "hate" I get what point you're getting across. Dfinitely a necessary and appropriate word here. I hope Kevin doesn't have to put up with much more from Tony, but I also hope that (even in teh background) that Tony's parents see the dangers in bullying and to no coddle their son, nor be blind to his behavior.
Sounds like they all had a marvelous time.
Wonderful chapter! Thanks for such a speedy update!
Elaine
Author's Response: Hi Elaine, I think getting to wear a black & red cape made Halloween an OK occasion for Brian. He knew he would make a HOT vampire. Jennifer takes her Grandmother duties very seriously. I think pre teen boys trying to act grown up made the perfect victims of the Grim Reaper. Brian tried his best to show Tnoy and his father that it is no fun to gave someone make fun of you. Happy to know you enjoyed this chapter. Hope you continue to enjoy this story. Thanks for being so faithful about posting reviews, I appreciate it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

I tried to comment when this chapter first came out, and could not get past security.
I like Justin's plan for the kids.
It was too bad they had to be reminded of Chris, but I liked how Brian handled the two bullies.
Author's Response: Happy to hear from you. Glad that you enjoyed the latest chapter. Sorry about that security thing but there doesn't appear to be a way to fix it,BUMMER!!! Brian tried his best to make the Snotnoses see the error of their ways but I don't think the message got through. Thanks for perservereing and posting a review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

Great chapter as always. I love this family. Mr. Kinney was a little bit of a bully himself, He needed to stand up for the children , but calling a kid snotnose is bullying. We know better and so does Brian.
Author's Response: Glad you liked the chapter. I think the "Snotnose" was deliberate. It showed Tony that even calling people names is hurtful. If you don't like someone calling you Snotnose maybe you realize other people don't like to be called mean names. Might not work but there was a purpose to Brian doing that. I will now climb down off my soapbox and thank you for the review. I love to hear from my reader and appreciate all your support for my stories. Thanks!!!!!!! Bill

Thanks for the great Halloween story, I see it all for me, Kevin&Gus and Brian&Justin as vampires.
Chapeau for Brian how he handles the bullying and then Roxanne she pulled herself together, I love her, I cry a tear for her.
And the sexy surprise ending for Brian, super!!!
Author's Response:
Happy that you enjoyed the latest chapter. Everyone seemed to enjoy their Hallorween except for the Snotnose Family. I think Roxanne is very happy that ahe had Grandmom Je, Brian, Justin and expecially Gus as part of her family now. They have made her life better. Justin in a leather jockstrap and a vampire care probably made Brian forget all about trick or treating. Thanks for taking time to review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

Great chapter! LOL, Justin sure knows how to manipulate Brian via their children (present and future). :D
Really liked the way Brian (and Justin) dealt with the bullying father and son. Prejudice is too often passed from one generation to the next. Justin and Brian caused Roxanne to rethink whether ignoring Tony was the best course of action.
Fun, sexy ending to the chapter too. Hooray for "vampire" sex! ;)
Author's Response: Glad you enjoyed this chapter. Justin knows Brian's weaknesses for sure. I think education can help stop that pattern of prejudice, hope so! Hard to know what the best way to handle bullies is but I'm not a fan of ignoring them. I like the idea of an XXX rated Justin vampire, I bet Brian LOVED that idea. Thanks for the review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

Hey my sweet Babboo, loved this chapter, I certainly can "see" Gus and Kevin as mini vampires bet Justin and Brian were sexy as hell. It was bad enough that Tony was a bully but it appears it's in his DNA. Snotnose senior seems to have taught his son early in life how to be a bully and how to pick a victim who can't fight back. I really like Justin telling Brian that when Gus can no longer get his father to do things that little sunshine will be able to bat his blue eyes at daddy and Brian will do whatever the child is asking. You said I must read a great deal and I do, I retired 2 months shy of age 62, after 47 years of office work at UK med center you get burned out.At age 40 I went to live with my widow mother and she died in July 2015 at the age of 90 she was only sick maybe six weeks. So needless to say I have alot of time on my hands. I've read qaf fiction fore years and have taken up coloring into the new and wonderful adult coloring books I've found it work wonders for stress and blood pressure, but reading was always my first love and when it's great story it's hard to put down.Your chapters have given me great pleasure. thank you, always your Sally
Author's Response: You were lucky to have Mom with you as long as you did. My parents both died in their 60's. I think SN Jr learned by example from SS Sr. Bullies are very good at picking victims that they know won't or can't fight back. Bullies are loathsome human beings! Justin knows how battin his blue eyes often gets the best of Brian so he knows a little mini Sunshine will have Brian wrapped around their finger. If you like coloring you should get some paints and try your hand at creating your own scenes and become a Justina - great artist. I read a lot myself and always have. Really happy that you enjoy my stories; I enjoy wiritng them and really, really enjoy hearing from readers!!!!! My dear Sally, thanks for all your support!!!!!!!!!!!!! Sweet B

Bullying is a totally hot topic for Brian and Justin and they have reasons. Hopefully Tony will have learnt a lesson tonight and he thinks on to what bullying and 'teasing' does
Author's Response: Would be great if Tony learned a lesson but he certainly is not getting much good examples at home. Mommy & Daddy Lucce are delusional and twisted. Thanks for the review, I look forward to the rerun review. Bill

Now that's a halloween story. I'm glad that Brian took a stand on bullying. Brian dressed as a Vampire had to be HOT!
Author's Response: Happy you enjoyed Chapter 2. We all know how seriously Brian & Justin take bullying! How about Justin bedroom vampire costume, that was pretty hot too. Always happy to see your review!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill

Ahh yes, Justin is diabolical in his plans....LOL Poor, poor Brian - I bet secretly he loves it. Laughed out loud at the grim reaper - Justin isn't the only one with a 'diabolical' plan...LOL. Tony and his father - not good. There isn't really any good way of dealing with bullies. Walking away, obviously can be quite dangerous, standing up to them makes them retreat, only to think of doing something worse. Yep - I agree with the boys - really do hate bullies. Nice finish with Justin surprise for Brian....
Author's Response: I think you are correct Brian probably loves that Justin knows his weakness & love for Gus and surely a min sunshine will have the same power over his Daddy. I think the boys will remember Josh's Halloween party for a long time. Maybe some even had to go change their underwear after the grim reaper episode. Probaby most of us have either experienced bullying or seen bullying so it is something we can all understand & abhor! Glad to know you enjoyed the latest chapter. As always, thank you so much for all your reviews!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bill
