been reading this story for over a week- I love your writing style and your story telling is wonderful. I hate that Justin's hand is giving out but everyone is handling it wel. Just thought I'd drop a line and say I'm enjoying it.

Just to let u know I did not abandon this story, just been very busy & back on track.
The editorial you put for Justin is good and well written.
Understand how difficulty Justin had to give up things that is important to him but he need do it for his hand sake.
Love it
Author's Response: I'm happy you are still liking the story :) A lot is appening in this chapter, and there are a lot of emotions appening as well. Luckily, Justin and Brian have each other, and they are one another's strongest support system!
I'm so very grateful for your support and encouragement!! Thank you!!

I want to congratulate you on a beautifully written emotional rollercoaster of a story. It is certainly one of the best I've read in a long time. Thank you.
I think you've hit the nail on the head as far as Mels motivations are with her kids and her career. She acts as though they are possessions and only pays attention to them when others question her actions. Her treatment of Jenny is heartbreaking. At times she seems to understand how appallingly she is behaving but her career is simply too important to her to change.
Lindsay seems in complete and utter denial though. I'm struggling to find any rationale behind her actions. She appears totally under Mels thumb, yet she had the wherewithall to have an affair. Yet she couldn't find the backbone to go against Mel, even a little, when it comes to her kids? It's utterly infuriating.
Anyway, enough ranting. I look forward to the next updates. I really don't want this story to end
Author's Response: Thank you immensley for your kind and thoughtful words! I'm so thrilled to know you are enjoying this story!
Yes, Mel is a unique and selfish character in this fic, and her actions are indeed appalling. Lindsay, as well, is a bit complex, and not in a positive way. Thank goodness that Jenny Rebecca is now with her dads :)
Don't worry about 'ranting', I truly enjoy reading the feedback and gaining insight from the readers; it is truly encouraging! Thank you again for reading this story and for commenting! It's so greatly appreciated!!

So sad for Justin. Luckily he has a wonderful, loving partner to help him through the hard times. This story is top notch! Love the long chapters.
Author's Response: Yes, Justin is going through a tough time, yet thankfully, like you said, he's got the full love and support of his husband.
I'm so happy to know how much you enjoy this story! Thank you for reading, and for your encouraging feedback!!

This continues to be f- ing awesome. As much as I( was enjoying the custody storyline, I'm glad the munchers have been left in the proverbial dust at last. They were just too horrible in this AU.
Loved the editorial and Mikey's predictable queen out.
Hope this story keeps going. It's 3 AM here. I hope this gives you an idea as to how much I love this story.
Author's Response: I'm so grateful for your encouraging feedback! It's wonderful to know you're liking this story :)
You're right about Mel and Lindsay...from now on, they will only be mentioned occasionally, as the main focus will be on the lives of Brian, Justin, Gus, Shane, and Jenny.
The editorial was a bit intense; I'm very glad you liked it, and Mikey's queen out moment.
Yes, the story will continue for a while :) I greatly appreciate you reading it and for commenting!! Thank you!!

Another brilliant chapter. Laughed at the first part - seems like Jenny has some serious, somewhat 'awkward' and much needed discussions in her near future. I'm quite surprised by Lindsay and Mel's attitude to sex. At least Gus had his dads to give him insight to a loving relationship as well as the 'much needed' safe sex talk - I can just imagine what Brian had to say.....LOL The editorial Justin wrote was brilliant. I wanted to 'bitch slap' Michael - everything is always about him. Hopefully with Jenny living with them he'll learn that your child's well-being is a priority - but then maybe not..... At least Brian and Justin have it right. Such a shame about Justin - that was one thing about the show that bugged me - the judge didn't care about the problems that Justin had at the time nor did he think about the long term problems such an injury would incur and the impact on Justin's life - homophobic prick - yeah, I know, I'm ranting. Speaking from experience, it hurts 'soul deep' when old injuries impact your life to the point you feel the things you love doing slipping away. You make adjustments, put on a brave face and 'soldier on'. Finding alternatives helps but never completely fills the loss. I really feel for Justin - the coming months aren't going to be easy. As an intelligent and thoughtful man and with Brian's help, he'll find a way. Great job - looking forward to the next chapter.
Author's Response: I'm incredibly grateful for your insightful comments! I am very delighted you enjoyed this chapter, and it's humorous beginning :)
Jenny does have a few things to learn about intimacy. Bless her heart, she's a lesbian surrounded by a family of gay men. Maybe Debbie will have a few helpful conversations with her. Being a teenager isn't easy, but I'm confident she'll be okay :)
Justin's rebutal editorial was the one thing that took the longest to write, because it was emotionally intense, but not only from the character Justin's viewpoint, but also because it carries a deeper message that applies in real life, even today. I'm just so happy to know that it was inspiring, and made a positive impact :)
I agree with you 100% about how the judge in the TV show dealt with Justin's bashing. It was deplorable! Now, Justin's other issue with rheumatoid arthritis knoting the joints in his fingers, only makes his pre-existing difficulties of his right hand, worse. You're right, people learn to make adjustments and 'soilder on', but it's not easy, and the feeling of loss is always there. Thankfully, in this story, Brian offers Justin his unending and loving support.
Thank you so very much for reading, and for your supportive feedback!! I appreciate both, immensely!!

The rebuttal to the editorial made this a powerful chapter. Michael's childness is something hell never grow out of. Pity for Ben and Jenny. Shane have a great example of what a loving couple and an accepting family is. Lucky. Think Mel and Lindsay should just stay away. I don't feel that Jenny needs them. I adore these long long chapters and now I can't wait for the next update.
Author's Response: Thank you so much! I'm truly trilled you liked the powerful editorial of Justin's rebutal in this chapter! It was an intense moment of of the story, and I also hoped it was encouraging, too...glad to know that it was :)
Shane does have a great and loving example of family dynamics from Gus, Brian, and Justin.
Jenny is indeed very happy now with her life and living with her dads. Also, from this point onward in the story, we won't hear much from Mel or Lindsay.
I'm very glad you are enjoying the long chapters, and I immensely appreciate your supportive feedback!!

Happy to see the new chapter. Love the realtionship between Brian and Justin but feel bad about Justin's hand. It's great that JR is so happy now. Glad that Gus and Shane have found each other. Look forward to more of your story. Bill
Author's Response: Thanks immensely for commenting, Bill!
Yes, Brian and Justin have a marvelous and very special relationship. And in helping Justin to deal with the difficulties of his hand, Brian continues to show his depth of love and support for him, in many ways.
J.R. is definately very happy living with her dads, and Gus and Shane are still going strong!
I'm so thrilled you are enjoying reading this story, and I'm very grateful for your continued encouraging feedback!

Omg...I can't even get my thoughts together. The first part of this chapter was HILARIOUS! Then it took a very emotional turn with Brian saying some very ominous things. I'm a little nervous about what it could be all about. Please update soon.
Author's Response: Thanks for reading! I'm delighted you enjoyed the humor in this chapter! There is often so much emotion in this story, I wanted to inject a bit of playful banter :)
Justin dealing with the issues of his hand and how it's now affecting his career and personal life, forcing him to make drastic changes, is difficult. Thankfully, Brian is still his biggest supporter. However, Brian will also make some changes in the near future. (Don't get too nervous about it, though.)
Thank you so very much for your ongoing support and encouraging comments! They're greatly appreciated!!

This was an emotion packed chapter. I'm pleased that the interaction with Lindsay and Mel were kept to a minimun. There was enough screaming and shouting from Michael. All his 'it's all about me, me, me!' shit had me wanting to smack him. I think Justin did the right thing on both the editorial and the new work policy. You done good and I'm alway excited to read another chapter from you.
Author's Response: I'm thrilled you liked this chapter! Thanks for reading and commenting!
The Lindsay and Mel componant will be at a minimum from this point onward in the story. We might, however, see a couple more queen-out moments from Michael. Yes, getting him to grasp a concept can sometimes be difficult, and can incite thoughts of smacking him, LOL!
Justin is going through a bit of a rough patch at the moment, but as always, he has the full support and love of Brian, and their little family :)
I'm so very appreciative of your encouraging feedback! Thank you!!
