Great Gus set his decision to study at NYU, not allowing his moms to manipulate his mindset.
Oh dear, how can Linds make use of his son for her own purpose.
Mm... Look like Shane Ryan is not in Brian good book. Ok you will not make Shane to come in between Brian and Justin. Hope my guessing is right.
1 more episode to go, catching up on your story is done.
Author's Response: Yes, your guessing is right...Shane won't come between Brian and Justin :) Althoug in this chapter, he's not quite yet in Brian's good book.
Gus is very much like his father in that when he makes his mind up about something, he doesn't steer away from it; he's a determined and free-thinking young man.
Lindsay has had, and still has, an odd perspective of her relationship with Brian. Sadly, she seems to think that she must retain some connection to him.
It's so encouraging to know that you are reading and enjoying this story!! Thank you so much for your supportive and insightful feedback!!

OMG! What is wrng with these stupid, selfish cows? At least in this universe. They need to get slapped with a lawsuit...and hard!
Author's Response: I really liked your comment! Without giving away any spoilers, things are about to get very interesting for Mel and Lindsay.
I greately appreciate all your insightful feedback!! Thanks so muc for reading...I'm so happy you're enjoying the story!!

I know the last words of this chapter were " She’ll never go to Pittsburgh to live. I won’t fucking let it happen.”
But it occurred to me when I was reading this chapter, and Michael was talking about how Mel said he could play a more active part of JR life when she was older.
Well, he still has his parental rights, and technically she was suppose to live with him 1/3 of the time, so maybe Michael should get court ordered custody. So she can finished her high school years in Pittsburgh...
Another great chapter!
Later Sweetheart ~ Kathleen
Author's Response: Thank you, Kathleen! I'm thrilled you enjoyed this chapter!!
Yes, you're right about Mel saying Michael could play a more active roll in J.R.'s life as she got older, but then made the comment later on in the story, "She'll never go to Pittsburgh....." What I was attempting to portray (and I'm sorry if I did it badly) was because of the fact that later on Mel was so upset with Brian, regarding Gus, on many levels, she became determined to NOT let that type of scenario happen between her daughter and Michael. (She blamed Brian for interferring in their lives; for Gus moving away to live with him; for the things Gus said in his graduation speech about his dads and yet didn't mention his moms).
In the next chapter, we'll see more of Michael trying to exercise his parental rights :)
I truly appreciate your continued feedback and encouraging support!!

What's going on with those women?? Their behavior gives me a feeling of nausea ... Can parents really be so selfish??
And Gus taking several drugs daily for a long time?? Hopefully he now get's the chance to change that ...
But poor J.R. ... I assume there's a difficult time ahead.
Great chapter, as always, enjoy this story very much!
Author's Response: Mel and Lindsay are interesting charcters, to be sure!
I think that with the calm and helpful environment Gus is in now with his dads, and attending college, his future will improve in many areas :)
J.R. will definately have some changes in her life...one way or another. We'll find out soon exactly what happens there!
Thank you so much for your comments and for reading the story! I'm so delighted you are enjoying it!! More to come soon!

Thank God a new life begin for Gus. I hope the next thing he'll do is to change his surname to Kinney and the three boys will stop smoking.... just a suggestion
Author's Response: Thank you so much for reading and for commenting on the story! I greatly appreciate it!!
Indeed, things are beginning to look-up for Gus! The next capter will higlight that fact quite a bit more.

Poor JR. Great chapter! I had tears in my eyes reading Gus's speech.
Author's Response: Sweet J.R. will now have to contend with her moms alone, without her big brother being there. I'm thrilled you liked Gus' speech!
There will be more antics coming up in the next capter :)
I so appreciate your feedback, immensely! Thanks for reading, and for the continued support!

Wow and just when I thought the munchers couldn’t get worse. What the hell does Mel have up her sleeve? Is it her intention to try and keep JR from seeing her dads? If that's the case, she better be careful because she will lose her daughter....one way or another.
Author's Response: Lindsay and Mel are quite the pair! I'm sure Mel will try something, but as you said, she needs to be careful (though being careful isn't something she's good at when she's angry)! The next chapter will reveal more.
Receiving such continued support, and your kind feedback, is invaluable! Thank you!!

Author's Response: Thank you! I also liked Gus' blunt, but amusing, comment :) He definately speaks his mind, just like his father!
I'm very grateful for your comments and continued support! Delighted you're liking the story!

Once again a great chapter full of drama. Those women really need to stop being so controlling and selfish. Loved what Gus said in his speech. Hopefully with Gus away from that environment the boys will be able to wean Gus off some of that medication. Now off to a new life....new start..... can't wait....
Author's Response: Truly, Gus' future is beginning to brighten for him, in several different areas.
I'm so glad you enjoyed Gus' speech!
We're going to hear more from Lindsay and Mel in the next chapter, along with additional drama :)
Thank you for reading, and for your continued assurance and supportive comments! Deeply apreciated!

What a chapter! Melanie and Lindsey won't be able to live together while the kids are gone because they will have no one to control. It scares me to think what Melanie has planned to keep JR prisoner. Gotta admit having Lindsey's parent there was unbelievable, I just want to shake Mel and Linds and put them in time out.
Author's Response: I'm so glad you liked this chapter! Mel and Lindsay are all about control, excapt SELF control. J.R. will be in new territory trying to cope with her moms on her own. I like your idea of 'time out' for the two women! Excellent!
Linday's parents won't be mentioned any more in the story, but it was indeed a nice little twist to add to this chapter :)
Thank you for commenting! I appreciate it immensely, along with your on-going support!

Another great chapter. This one mostly positive. Poor JR I feel bad she will have to deal with her mothers on her own. Hope they have a great time in Europe.
Author's Response: Thank you so much!! As always, I truly apreciate your kind and reassuring comments!
Gus moving to New York will continue to be a very positive influence on him. Yet in the next chapter, a bit more angst, from anoter direction, will appear...oh, my :) And J.R., I'm sure, will have a bit of a struggle on her hands dealing with her moms.
I'm deligted you are continuing to enjoy the story!
