I'm really enjoying the Teddy man,Blake, and Nina story and happy they include Viola in their lives. Nina reminds me in a way of John and Peter they didn't have much in the way of happy memories. Viola being ill and not a lot of money, and the boys with a drug problem and no reality for their mother, and a grandmother who could't show them any love. Jen has such a big heart and loves all her boys and trying to make beautiful memories just Ted and Blake are doing for Nina and her grandmother,

Author's Response:

Nina, John and Peter are all lucky to have landed in situations where they are loved. Everyone is lucky to have them in their lives. It would be nice if things in real life always worked out as well as they do in this story. Thanks for the review!!!!! Bill

Love it, protection for the girls at a gay bar.

Great sex for the boys, always a plus.

Good, Lindsay's parents are getting tough with her. She should have 'figured her life out' before she had a child.

Poor Gus, a child that little should never have to worry about not having what he needs. That bitch really screwed with his head.

Ted and Blake will be great dads too.

Grandma Jenn, so sweet to make the kids breakfast on the first day of school.

Loving this.

Author's Response:

Brian is comfortable in protection mode. I don't think Lindsay's parents were ever the warm and comforting type. That might be why she is so screwed up. With Viola playing a guest star role.  Jennifer is taking her grandmother duties very seriously and having a great time doing them.  I really appreciate you reviewing each chapter as you caught up wth the story!!!!  Thanks,  Bill

Well, didn't take long for Lindsay to revert to her old ways. You have to want to get help, and unfortunately at this point it doesn't appear she is interested in that.  A shame, but Gus is being taken care of the way he should, which is good.  Loving Jennifer in this story, and how she has become a 'grandmother' to so many. And I continue to love Alice's take-charge character.

As always, I'll be looking forward to your next chapter, Bill. Thank you. ~Kim

Author's Response:

Hi Kim, thanks for taking time out of your busy schedule to review.  I think you are right about Lindsay, she is not dealing with reality. B&J will always try their best to make sure Gus is taken care of.  Jennifer and Alice are a dynamic duo for sure.  Glad to know you are still enjoying the story.  Thanks for the rview!!!  Bill

I got caught up in B&J & family...Lindsey etc, that I comnpletly left out The "girl's night out and Ted & family. (smack my hand)

I've had a few of those nights out back in teh day adn enjoyed them thoroughly. I never had the limo service or personal security mind you, but I guess that's par for the course with Brian. LOL

Teddy-man, Nina and Blake are a wonderful family. I'm so glad you've brought in that story line. always makes me smile. It makes sense that ted would have the patience for repetation. He can bo back to his days with Worm-whatever his name was when he was just doing accounting. Lots of repetition there. :) He has such a bif heart, such a lovely soul that he'd be able to be there for Nina. Happy to see her making friends in the neighbourhood and that they are open to T&B.

As I said in the review just before, it's a wonderful story. I'm so happy, excited and relieved to see each update. There's always a little part of me that gets worried when I'm so involved in a story that the writer will just suddenly stop. It's too much of a beloved story for that to happen... (right?? ;)  )

Author's Response:

Brian ia always in protective mode for people he cares about.  He wants to be sure Molly has a good time and stays out of trouble.  He probably remembers all the trouble her brother got into at Babylon. I thought the same thing about Ted; he is used to doing repetitive tasks.  I thought Nina should have a local friend, it gives Ted & Blake more of a reason to become part of their neighborhood.  Thank you for all your nice comments and for being so loyal about postng reviews.  I appreciate all your support.  No plans to end the story and I promise not to leave you hanging.  Thanks!!!!!  Bill

Very nice angst free chapter. I enjoy them as it lets my emotions calm somewhat between sessions. LOL.

The day-to-day domesticity of the Taylor-Kinney clan is always a joy to read. Even just having them prep for the 1st day of school. It's sweet. Especially having Jen coming over for her special breakfast.

I'm wondering if Lindsey's parents will reconsider their belief in her story. Seeing as she's so unispired to get work or get on with her life. she's just sitting their like a bump on a log. They may just wonder if the story she told was actually BS after all. It's going to be interesting to see what they do etc. I don't think they'll put up with her much longer if she continues on that way. She definitely seems to need realy psychiatric help. Just sitting there in the back yard, one has to wonder what's going through her mind. Is she really trying to sort herself out (doubtful) is she fantasizing what coulda, shoulda woulda happened, is she planning something underhanded to try to come between B&J? (not that it's possible)

Sorry for the late review btw. Was Thanksgiving weekend and was busy in the kitchen. Was able to read, but waited till today to review.

Elaine

Author's Response:

Glad to know you enjoyed the latest chapter.  More romance than angst in this chapter.  I think Lindsay's parents want to believe their daughter s fine and will soon be sefl sufficent and out of their house.  I think you are correct that Lindsay could use some professional help but will shet get it??  That is the big question.  I think her parents have their heads firmly in the sand and don't want to see any issues.  Always happy to see a review whenever it comes.  Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.  Next time you review let me know what you eat at Canadian Thanksgivng.  Thanks for the ewview!!!!!!!!  Bill

Enjoyed all the glimpses into the domestic scenes of the various households. Gus is so adorable. Gus' dialog is so realistic...his concern over forgetting his pencils, for example. It is good that his fathers listen to him and don't belittle his concerns. I wonder that Lindsay's parents aren't more concerned about the fact that Lindsay is barely functioning and staring off into space. Lindsay seems to be suffering from some sort of mental/emotional issues. Not sure if her mother's tough love approach is going to make much difference at this point. Glad to get a peek at Ted, Blake, and Nina. Mother Taylor rules! Can't wait for the next chapter. Thank you!

Author's Response:

Glad that you enjoyed the chapter. Thank you so much for saying you find Gus's dialog realistic, it had been a long time since I was 7 or was around any 7 year olds.  I don't think Lindsay's parents were ever too concerned about her. Might be part of the reason she is not dealing with reality very well.  Happy you liked the updates to various households.  I agree that Jennifer ruled!!  Thank you so much for taking time to review!!!  Bill

Sounds like the girls had a great time dancing at Babylon, it's a good thing they had a chaperon we wouldn't want them wandering into the backroom... he, he, he...

Hugs Hon ~ Kathleen

Author's Response:

The backroom might be too much reality for the ladies, especially if Mary's brother in law happened to be in there.  Hugs, back to you!  Bill

Well, Lindsay failed so far making her family co-addicts - it´s time to wake up befor it´s too late. Will she end up in prison or a facility, still hoping Brian will come to her rescue? I hope he will do nothing!

Sorry for JR to get in the middle of the nonsense her father is in. Thank God having Ben around, I hope he will stay...

Craig at the exposition, I´m not quite sure: Is he serious, perhaps lonely or is trouble around? J&B don´t need trouble!

The boys are back to school, finally. I hope we will have fun, new friends...the uncles will have their hands full.

I enjoyed every chapter and I´m always happy to see a new one. Keep on the good work & many thanks!

(Since I started my new job, haven´t had much time to review, sorry!)

Author's Response:

Hello my friend, always so happy to hear from you.  I don't see Lindsay in prison but she is certainly headed for trouble.  I don't think her parents are going to cope with her very well.  JR is a little girl who knows her own mind.  No way was she agreeing to cheap furniture for her dollhouse.  I don't think her Dad will have a lot of luck getting her to think badly about Uncle Jus.  I think you are correct the uncles will have a lot to deal with because they have Gus and hus school to contend with as well.  Gad you are still enjoying the story.  Hope your new job goes smoothly.  Thanks for the review!!!  Bill

I love grandma Jenn! and how she made the Boy's first day of school special lol.

Linz needs a reality check! Big time !!!!

Author's Response:

I think Grandmom Jen got as much pleasure as she gave.  Linds is certainly not dealing with reality very well.  Thanks for taking time to review!!!  Bill

Thank you for a new chapter.

Linds didn't stay up for very long. I see her mother gave her the go to work or get out rule. Linds really needs a good therapist.

Author's Response:

You are welcome, thanks for the review!!!  I think you are correcty Linds needs some professional help!!  Bill

Lindsay's acting 'true to form' - I like how her mother told her off - about time. Love how all the boys are great with the kids - Ted showing patience with Nina - I can see that - Ted always had hidden depths that others didn't see at first because of his quiet demeanour. Love Jennifer's 'first school morning breakfast and photos. I wish my mother had done that for me and although I did the photos first day of school, I never thought to do a first breakfast - wish I had - wonderful idea.

Author's Response:

I don't think anyone would describe Nancy Peterson as overly maternal and she is more feeling than her husband.  Wonder why Lindsay has so many issues???  It's a mystery for sure.  I agree 1,000% with you about Ted.  I always thought he was a very caring person. Jennifer is really enjoying being Grandmom Jen and the boys are enjoying having her in their lives.  To be honest my family didn't do pictures or breakfasts for first days of shcool but it seemed like something Jennifer would have done with her own children.  Thanks for taking time to review!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

You do a wonderful job of displaying the love between Justin and Brian, between Gus and his dad, Peter and John with their cousin and uncles, and the rest of the extended family.

I am wondering what will happen with Lindsay and the teaching job. If she applies and gets the job, I'm guessing she won't be able to hold onto it. She's not at all ready to acknowledge and address her addiction.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the kind words, I appreciate them.  I don't really see Lindsay sticking with teaching for the long term.  I have some "fun" stuff in mind for her.  Thanks for the review, you know I love to get them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Bill

Wonder how Linz is going to get out of applying for the teaching job?

Also if she even heard her Mom about finding a job or a new place to live?

Love of Gus is so excited about colors and art, plus Justin being so good at explaining everything to him.

Love Jen and her first morning of school breakfast, plus pics which included Brian.

Justin should know better than to disagree with her.

So happy to get an update on Ted (Teddy Man) , Blake and Nina. Looks like Nina is getting a new friend.

Brilliant update, and axiously waiting for next!

Thanks for sharing!

JoAnn

Author's Response:

I suspect Lindsay may get that teaching job for a short time.  I used to love those big boxes of Crayola crayons that had the sharpener in the back of the box.  Such great colors like blue-green and green-blue, yellow green and green yellow.  I thought markers were more up to date for Gus.  Special breakfast for first day of school just seemed like such a Jennifer thing to do.  I think you are correct about Nina getting a new friend.  Thanks for your nice comments.  Happy to know you are still enjoying the story.  Thank you JoAnn for always taking time to review.  I really appreciate your support!!!!!  Bill

Getting ready for the first day of school was well planned.  They even got a great breakfast out of it.  I bet this was the first time anyone made a fuss over John and Peter going to school.  Grandma Jen is quite the super mom.  Lindsey is not going to be able to waste her days if her mom and dad have anything to say about it.  It looked like Ted was unsure about how the neighbor was going to react to Nina.  Love how Ted was better at working with Nina then Blake.  Yet another great chapter.

Author's Response:

My friend, you know I am always happy to see your review. Glad you liked this chapter. Grandmom Jen is trying her best to make up for the bad times in John and Peter's life. She had to get up really early to be at the house in time to make breakfast. I think Ted was wary about why the neighbor suddenly decided to pay attention to them. Turns out it was a good thing. I think Ted feels comfortable with familiar things so I thought he would be good for Nina.  Thanks for the nice review!!!!!  Bill

Thank you Thank you Thank you for the quick chapter I loved it. Brian and Justin sex the best part of the whole chapter no Michael at all, cute Nina Blake and Ted no Michael Jennifer obviously doing something she did for Justin and Molly to establish something good for first day of school mostly for John and Peter but also for Gus along with the pictures that every parent that loves their child takes no Michael. I saw in a review you were considering no baby I really want baby but then I never want this to end and baby means there is more and more to write about not there isn't tons without baby but with the mind boggles and to think you could do whole chapter then where all you talk about is Brian Justin John Peter Gus and baby or like I keep dreaming babies and no Michael. I don't like Lindsay much either but I see story there unlike with you know who where when you write about him I just keep thinking if you forgot about him think about all the people I like to read about you could spend more time on while you ponder my rant Thanks again for the quick chapter and I have a birthday coming in about a week and a half was that too subtle you keep writing I will keep reviewing 1 more thanks you because the above were not enough

Author's Response:

I did promise someone that I would post an update today.  Maybe my next chapter will be solely about Michael, you seem to have missed him in this chapter.  Glad to know you enjoyed your requested chapter so much.  I just threw that no baby comment out there to see if anyone reponded.  The number of reviews for the new chapters is down so I guess I may need a baby to generate more interest.  I do appreciate all your support and I'll see if MAYBE I can get two chapters out before that birthday.  Of course one could be just about a day in the life of Michael Novotny???  Thanks for the fats review!!!!!  Bill

I was so excited to see an update on this! It seems that the Petersen's are just about at their wits end with Lindsay.hopefully she realizes that she can't keep going this way...it's not fair to her son nor her parents. On the plus side, I would give my right arm to have had that breakfast. Jennifer has gone above and beyond to make sure the boys feel loved and safe. Brian and Justin have really lucked out in the love department.

Author's Response:

Thanks for the fast read an review.  The Petersons' don't have a very long wit and yes they seem to be at the end of it!  That French toast sounded good to me too.  Jennifer has a lot of love to give and is happy being Grandmom Jen.  B&J are very lucky to have found each other.  Thanls for all the nice comments!!!!  Bill
