OMG, Linds again didn't learn her lesson from her previous affair. She hurt Mel and now Gus into a situation with extensive of unnecessary medication. Some more for young teenage boy to cope the overall situation himself. How can a mom does that to her child and ignore that is her fault. I just can't believe it.

Understandable Mel action bcos of Linds affair but as Brian said the adults had to be responsible for their own action not to put burden on the children.

Good job.

Author's Response:

Thank you so very much!  I'm so thrilled to know you enjoyed this chapter!  It was an intense one, especially the communication between all four parents.  Brian doesn't mince words and he's always blut and no-nonscense, which, particularly in this situation, was appropriate.  His honesty is what Mel and Lindsay needed to hear.

I appreciate your feedback immensely!  Thank you again for taking the time to read and to comment!!

Oh please say the the kids get to go live with their fathers. Mel and Lindsay clearly can't get their shit together and keep it in order....the kids need safety and stability...not medication to deal with the bullshit.

Author's Response:

I know, right?!  Mel and Linds have a shitload to work through, regardless of wich way their relationship turns out.

Luckily, both of Gus' and J.R.'s fathers are there to intervene, and we know they at least have the best interest of their children at heart.  Legally, Mel and Linds are still the kids' parents, so that will be an interesting obsticle for both sets of dads to deal with.

You're supportive feedback is so immensely appreciated!  Thank you so much for reading!! :)

I can't get enough of this story. I hope we get to view parts of Gus's 5 year video journal while Brian and Justin learn about it. Gus can't leave his sister in that horrible house - both sets of fathers need to pack up their kids and bring them home. It's my guess neither Mel or Lindsey would give a damn.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much!  It's wonderful to hear how much you are enjoying this story!!

Yep, later on in the story, Gus' video journal will come into play, and will have a major affect on his family.

It's a fantastic thing that Gus and J.R. have their dads in their lives, and that Brian and Justin take just as much interest in J.R.'s wellbeing as they do with Gus'.

Mel and Lindsay have made some bad decisions, so it's hard to see at this point in what direction their relationship will turn when more secrets are revealed.

I greatly appreciate your comments and support!!

The plot thickens. Lovely long chapter - must admit I did take a longer lunch hour then I should have - well I had to finish the chapter didn't I.......LOL

Lindsay's not going to talk her way out of this one - too much harm has been done. I hate to see any family break up but Mel should dump her - a year long affair, stressing Gus out to the point of needing drugs, stressing her out to the point of excessive drinking. At least Mel is getting her act together and showed she does care about JR - pity Lindsay couldn't to the same. Gus definitely needs to be with his dads. Michael, of course, needs a 'chill pill'.

I'm thrilled to hear you enjoyed this capter!  I hope you didn't get in trouble at work for taking a longer lunch hour :)

Quite a lot of drama still going on within the family.  Mel and Lindsay failed to realize that whatever choices or actions they produce, affects everyone around them, like a ripple affect.  It seems they individually let things get too out of hand.  Let's hope that with the intervention of Brian, Justin, Ben, and Michael, a positive solution for the kids will be the end result.  Michael does tend to lose his cool and often speaks before he thinks.  His heart is in the right place, but he needs to learn to 'chill' a little bit :)  Thankfully, he as 'Zen Ben' there to help!

Thank you immensely for your support and feedback!

I'm glad Justin got the show. It helps to keep the creative juices flowing and if there really is a problem with any campaign I'm sure he'll be willing to help.
Brian's idea of having Gus intern is a great idea. The faster he's out of that house the faster he'll get off all those meds.
Lindsay hooking up with a guy. Not surprising.

This is a wonderful story. I especially like Brian's relationships with both Gus and Justin. It's as it should be. Great job.

I greatly appreciate your encouraging feedback!  Thank you so much for reading, I'm happy to hear you're enjoying the story!

Justin defintely has a very creative mind, and even though he does artwork for Kinnetik every day, I too think that continuing with his painting and doing art shows periodically, is a marvelous and positive outlet for his ingenous creativity.

I think that when Gus spends the summer with his dads, he will indeed flourish, and hopefully, be able to get off the medication.

Yeah, we're seeing a little deja vu with Lindsay again.

Thanks again for commenting! :)

Damn Mel and Lindsay sure are good examples of bad parenting... Poor Gus needing meds to just cope with daily life...

Moving to NY and doing an internship with his dads is a great idea, an even better one is him moving there permanently...

Maybe JR should also move in with her dads, it would allow her time to get to really know them... Then of course Mel and Lindsay can try and repair their marriage, or decide to end it once and for all...

Great update as always...

Author's Response:

Indeed...quite a lot of discovery going on in this capter!  A bit more angst and furter discovery in the next chapter, too, but it will all start coming to fruition, as well.

I think with Gus spending the summer with his dads in NY, he will thrive and grow.

I am delighted to have your continued support, and as always, I'm thrilled you are enjoying the story, hon!!

Wow!  What a chapter.  It seems to me that it's time the fathers took over raising their children since the mothers can't seem to get their act together enough to do it.  Love all the information you've provided in this nice long chapter.  Thank you.

Author's Response:

Definately a lot going on with the intertwined families!  Mel and Linds have some issues to work out, as their relationsip together, and with their children, is a bit shakey right now.

I'm so happy to hear you're enjoying the story, and the long chapters ;)

Thank you very much for commenting and your support!  Greatly appreciated!!

Wow, lots going on in this chapter.  Mel and Linds are really screwed up! Can't wait for the next chapter.  Great story.

The chapter was definately full of action :)  We'll find out a little more about Mel and Linds in the next one, too.
