Any way I'm so happy for you to reach your 1000 th review your story deserves it.You are so articulate your story comes alive to your readers I hope your next goal will be 1500 and then.....I liked chapter 84 Lindsey got the boot and won't find help coming from Brian, Mikey still clueless (surprise,surprise!) Melanie I feel sorry for she has really tried and Lindsey used her like she uses everyone else. I had to laugh at Gus talking about Lindsey's parents and violent tennis knees, that child can make me smile at the worst of times. I don't understand Mikey being concerned about JR's overnight stay, it never bothered him before as long as it doesn't cost him anything. Congrats again and another chapter, please.

"An octave that only dogs could hear" - LOL, wonderful description. Michael's whining has always struck me as the relentless whine of a mosquito which, of course, makes me want to get out the fly swatter. Time for everyone to let the dead weight (Michael and Lindsay) go. Easier said than done (especially considering Gus and JR), but definitely desirable. Eventually, those two will remove themselves from the picture. (Lindsay's already well on the way, although her fellow leech still supports her.)

I had hoped for better things from Lindsey. She is a very
important character in this story. I can hope all I want, it sure
didn’t work out that way? Now what? Everything is really
messed up. What about Gus, or JR, or Melanie, or Brian and
Justin? I have no idea how to put the pieces of the family back
together. Maybe we can’t, and those characters I just
mentioned with just have to make do. I am not even sure what
that mens.

You make me feel guilty about Lindsay. She may work on getting her life back on track. You are correct she effects a lot fo people's lives but all will be good in the end. This is a low angst story. At least Gus recognizes that his Mommy has been unhappy and he knows his Daddy and Papa love him a lot. I always like to ready your comments even when you make me feel guilty. I have never liked Lindsay and feel very sorry for Gus and Melanie. Can't beleive Michael is so easily manipulated, but he always says he wants Brian's happiness, but never believes Brian. Glad Mel is seeing the real situation.

I was cracking up at Brian's conversation with Michael. I was watching an episode of Will and Grace today where Jack was doing the 'only dogs can hear' voice. I was laughing so much I scared my cat. Brian has some really sucky 'friends' that don't know him at all.
Michael really needs to get a life. I feel sorry for Ben, he just hangs on for the ride, I don' know how he puts up with him.
I see you made your goal of 1000, congratulations. I was really hoping to be number 1000 for you. Love this story.

Now that Lindsay is gone Pat can show what an asset she is to the gallery.
Lindsay reminds me of Josh Duggar, nothing they have done wrong is really their fault. She is so delusional that she thinks Brian runs the gallery and will give her back her job. Justin must have some kind of magic power over Brian, must be that adorable, heart shaped butt.
Gus is a smart kid and pays a lot more attention then his mothers realize. Love Brian and Justin working together to help him understand what is happening.

What a fantastic way to start my day. I think i have a prblem though. Like many others I'm pretty addictied to this story. We all need to join FFA (Fanfic Anon) :)
You know...I really thought Lindsey was getting it at first when she was talking with Mel. That she needed to firgure out what she needed, that she always depended on others instead of her self etc. then wooooosh she took a hard left and went off the rails. Just is now her enemy? that does not bode well at all especially regarding any future manipulations. She's already gotten to Michael. Not sure if she'll try Deb. Deb can go either way. There's a chance she could be manipulated seeing who's involved. She needs Jennifer to rein her in and bring her back to reality sometimes. and now her parents...hmmmmmmmmmm
Wow Gus is a smart little guy. Hopefully he's come away from this all unscathed. Not sure about JR. He may try the whole custody thing now. Who knows. Ben is a saint to put up with all his shit!

Author's Response: I think a support group os fine but I prefer that there is no cure for addiction to my story. I had a fantastic start to the day as well since we are now over 1,000 reviews. Poor Lindsay does not have a very good understanding of her life and how she is creating her own problems. I think if Deb dares to criticize Brian or Justin to Jennifer she will be VERY SORRY. I don't think Michael has the money to pursue full custody and there is no way Brian will bankroll that effort. Alway enjoy reading your comments. Thanks, as always, for your review. Bill

It's infuriating that Lindsay and Michael keep holding on to the delusion that Justin is controlling Brian, and refuse to see they are the ones trying to control him.
Hopefully Mel is done and find a new partner (though I'm a bit upset Lindsay still isn't getting her comeuppance. Even now, she's the one deciding to leave which means she's still the one in control of them all). I hope Ben will do the same as I'm beginning to lose respect for him by staying with Michael.
Brian needs to cut Michael off too because how can he stay friends with the person who keeps disrespecting Justin and call him nasty names accusing him of nasty things? And I mean a full cut. Not just distancing himself like he's been doing or trying to reason with him because that's not working. Anything Brian says goes in one ear and out the other.
Gus continues to be a darling. "violence tennis knees" Ha!
Author's Response: I think the problem with L&M is that they realize they cannot control Brian. I think Ben enjoys being the sensible one in his relationship with Michael. It would be hard for him to find someone else as un-sensible as Michael. There is a lid for every pot. For reasons I don't understand I think Mel truly loves Lindsay. Brian can't forget that Mikey was a good friend when he really needed one. He just wishes Mickey could grow up. I think Gus must wonder why he has "tennis knees" when he doesn't play tennis. Boy, what an amazing chapter. So much to work out with Lindsay and Michael. I actually feel sorry for Melanie. Gus is such a smart boy. How will they explain things to JR? Afterall she will here one thing from Melanie and something else from Michael. Will Lindsay have to go to a mental hospital as she seems to want to revert to her childhood? Loving this.

i was going to try to be 1000 but could not wait. Lindsay is delusional and Mikey may live in the delusion with her. I have some concern of Lindsay trying to crash the opening night at the gallery. I feel sorry for Mel and I don't really like her either. Gus is a lucky little boy his Daddy and Papa love him so much and will do anything to make sure he is able to be a 7 year old boy and not have to be a grown up to soon, though I don't think he will be happy that JR is staying longer at his house why do I suspect Brian will run into Michael when he goes to pick the kids up at school on Monday. I always want another chapter just as soon I have finished the last one but even I realize that is impossible but one can dream... Thanks for continuing my favorite story and I hope this is one step closer to 1000, and with how much story you still have to tell 2000 is not out of the question. Will you think badly of me if I think both Lindsay and Michael are getting exactly what they deserve. It's time for Melanie to move on and find some happiness. I like her in this story and glad she sees the 'better' side of Brian whereas in the past she didn't want to. I always wondered if it was Lindsay being the catalyst for the feud between Brian and Mel. She was always a little too 'passive aggressive' which I understand is a WASP trait. (As an Australian I had to look up that term when I first heard it....LOL) Great chapter.
Author's Response: I think you are probably correct about L&M getting what they deserve but I do feel a tiny bit of sympathy for Lindsay. I actually softened the consequneces of her actions. Maybe she will be able to turn her life around but maybe not. I totally agree about her being the catalyst for the Brian-Melanie feud. She always played them against each other in the show.
