Permanent custody shouldn't be a problem for our men, especially when Joan sees how well the boys are thriving under Brian and Justin's care.
As for Lindsay, I guess her world of manipulation finally caved in on her. Brian is no longer twisted around her little finger. Boo hoo.

So who wants to take bets that Melanie will kick Lindsay's butt to the curb (or in this case her parents house), and Brian sues for shared custody with Mel? And Lindsay pisses off Sidney again and he fires her with Justin's blessing.

So I had to copy and past e all this because the code numbers did not like me it originally started with THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for posting a new chapter that I really enjoyed. I guess I failed to check that it. It all copied and I apologize profusicly for not checking that the whole thing copied. I hate these number codes and most weeks they despise me thanks agin got the gift of a chapter I do appreciate you and your writing even if you sometimes need to question that fact.
Um wow Lindsay is looking really stupid once again it makes wonder how big the fight she and Mel will have either in the car or back at the loft. Joan coming to dinner I almost wonder if that might go different from how we all think it should. The state of PA might surprise us and let Justin and Brian get permanent custody of John and Peter but I think this is one of those money talks not that Brian would care if that is the only reason. So glad John did well on his test and that everyone congratulated him for it. Ok here it comes again bribery I need to read about the job interviews at Kinnetic and John' birthday dinner and I think that needs to be 2 chapters or 1 really really really long one but how soon can I read it is Friday 2/27 asking to much that way I can reread it 12 times over the weekend. You know I check multiple times a day for an update, this is my favorite story to read right now.

I just love this story. It's fun to read and just get caught up in it, it seems so real and natural, not like something you have to make up as you go along.
The boys are so happy being with their uncles.
Can't wait to see Joan's reactions at dinner.
Lindsey just gets worse and worse. Maybe they should just ship her of to a padded island in Never-Never Land with a blow-up Brian.

The best scene i.m.o is when John made fun of Justin after his test - you need a lot of trust to do that kind of thing. That´s how far they got together. And Brian got over himself and made his mother come to the party - how far did he get! Reading this story is having a little smile in my face. You did it again....thanks!

Nobody makes me angrier than Lindsay except maybe Michael, but even he doesn't think Brian owes him a living. Joan may be awful, but at least she's really convinced of her beliefs (wrong though they may be). I think Lindsay knows exactly what she's doing with her manipulation. I'm sure she loves Gus, but he's also a tool for her to use. Thank goodness nobody is falling for her mind games (unlike in so many other fanfics)
Author's Response: I couldn't agree more about Lindsay using Gus as a tool. I have always felt that what Lindsay always did - use the people around her to get what she wants. Thank you for your latest chapter. I was thrilled John passed his test, he needs and deserves to have something good happen to him, hopefully permanent custody to Brian and Justin included. I was surprised and really pleased by the actions of Brian who called his mother and offered a car service to pick her up and return her home when ever she chose from the party perhaps a small truce I hope. Well the BITCH is back and in true form, she needs support for food, reminded she gets a paycheck now for that she decides getting a new clothes, it's all about her not Mel or the kids. I really like Mel she tries and appricates everything the guys have done. Lindsay caused this mess and everyone has to put up with her bad attitude and ungreatful treatment.
Author's Response: Happy you are still enjoying my story. John's life is certainly way better and hopefully that will continue. Brian can be kind of a softy but he doesn't like to show that side. John wanted his Grandmother to experience his new life and Uncle Brian wanted him to have his birthday wish. Lindsay World is a place that no one else understands but it is where she feels best.

I am soooo doing a happy dance right now :) The confrontation between Brian and Lindsay was way past due. She pushed one too many times and now she has to deal with the subsequent fallout as a result of her actions. John acing his placement test is just icing on the cake!!! I was tickled to death to see another chapter!!! That John would do well is no surprise. He's a smart kid. In spite of Brian being reluctant to invite Joan, he went over and above because John want it. How cool is that. I'm hoping that everything for perminant custody goes as smoothly.
JR has no complaints about playing with John and Peter. Thank goodness she's too young to know that her dad is unable to contribute to supporting her.
Now about Lindsay. Her suggesting that Justin needs Brian's approval to do anything is outrages and I'm happy that Brian told her so. Then she tries to renig on the custody agreement. What a jerk. Even Mel said they would have Gus on weekends. Finally she has the nerve to ask for support payments! Because she wanted to by clothing rather then food! Poor Melanie, it looks like her salary will be feeding the family while Lindsay spends hers on clothing.
Justin spiked that one. If they eat at the diner Kinnetik pays.

Lucky for JR Unce Bri has deep pockets and a kind heart that he thinks he keeps secret. How sad would it be for Gus to have everything and JR to have to get along on what Michael contributes.
Lindsay completely understands herself but she is alone in doing so. Lots of jealousy of Justin colors her behavior: Justin first in Brian's heart; Justin more talented and her boss at the gallery; Justin lots of money. I kind of liked Lindsay thinking she should spend her pay on herself rather than buy food - that was a last minute addition. Always happy to read your comments and to know you are still enjoying the story after 64 chapters! Who's have thunk it!!! Thanks my friend for all your support.
