I am really enjoying your story. I'm still apalled by Joan, I know how she hates gays but is having a addict who uses sex more casually than Brian a better choice? Maybe in the long run Joan would be more embarresed by her church friends for all the drug use. The boys are really doing well. I hope Brian's PI sees the situationn before Justin is hurt.More chapters, please
Author's Response: Thanks so much for letting me know you are still reading and enjoying the story. Joan is pretty appalling and just a little sad. She kept her shitty home life a secret for years and now she is left with two damaged children who embarress her. If she had left Jack everyone might be happier now. Of course Brian would still be gay but maybe she would accept it better. I think the PI has really been called off since they have all the info they need to make Claire look bad. OH, it's bad news about Tony's plan. A kidnap can ruin someone life mentaly. So please don't let it happened. I enjoy this story very much. You keep writing and I'll keep reading.

That was another terrific chapter.
It was nice to see John get a lot of print time these last few
chapters. He seems to be a very special person. A chapter
back, he seemed to have met a girl and I wouldn’t mind if he
got himself a girl friend. Just about everyone else old enough
has someone special.
I sure hope this kidnapping plan doesn’t go anywhere and
that Peter doesn’t inadvertently help. This is serious and very
dangerous, and people can get badly hurt.

Author's Response: Thanks for letting me know you are reading and enjoying the story. Nice to have loyal readers a full year - today - after chapter 1 was posted here. I think once school starts John will have a chance to see more of Patrice. You will have to stay tuned to see what happens with Tino's plan. One thing we know for sure is he has chosen a pretty useless partner. Keep in mind that this has been and will remain a pretty low angst story but a little excitement every once in a while could be a good thing. Hope you continue to enjoy the story. Bill

Had to read this one before heading off to my job. Uh, oh. A little worried about this chain of events. That Tino is bad news, and I suspect if he thinks Justin is just going to obey him like a dutiful, little puppy dog, he is probably going to be sadly mistaken. I do love a protective Brian, though, and I trust you to know that you won't let anything happen to his partner.

Author's Response: Good thing you are enjoying this story since you are solely responsible for it being posted here. It was one year ago that you helped me get set up on Midnight Whispers. Thanks for all your support and encouragement over the past year. I agree that Tino has a distorted view of how Justin would react. Tino is correct to think Brian would pay any ransom to get his Sunshine back. Guess we will just have to wait and see how this all plays out. Claire needs sense knocked into her and self pride knocked out and a little love for her children and what's best for them wouldn't hurt either. Tino just needs to be shot. Justin is a lot stronger and much more fierce than what most people think. Looking forward to what you have for us next.

Oh my God. What trouble you have planned for Justin. Somehow I hope the kidnapping never comes to pass. I'd like to find out what happens to Hal, maybe he will lose the job? I'm glad to see that the new tutor is working out just fine. I'm really enjoying this story and this latest chapter has me on the edge of my seat!
