I have been away for a bit from MW, how nice to come back to another chapter.
I like Brian's attitude toward the school administrator and Mark's parents. He has grown.
I feel sorry for Claire, who has started to really reap the results of her wrong decisions. It doesn't change how bad she was to her kids, but I get no joy in seeing her hurt.
Stay cool, looks like your area is getting a heat wave.
Author's Response: I have enjoyed the hot weather here, there was a nice breeze most days and always cools down at night. Happy you enjoyed the latest chapter. Claire really has made her life a mess, not sure she realizes that her bad decisions are the cause of her problems. Boy, is Claire in a horrid place! Even if she wanted to turn her life around and do the right thing, it is going to be extremely difficult. Let's hope she decides to confide in someone before she starts down that same path again, although I would much prefer the boys remain with B & J. And Molly's inlaws are a real piece of work, too.
Love Charlie and Alice! So great when they would told to come and have dinner with the 'rest of the family.'And I loved it, also, when Brian stood up for his nephew. They are all becoming a great family together.;)

Well I'll be damned the impossible has happened...i almost feel sorry for Claire. Tino is a fucking abusive bastard who will surely kill her before she has a chance to better herself. In the meantime, Brian put that pompous ass dean in his place once and for all. I will be anxiously awaiting the next chapter.
Author's Response: Claire seems to be doing her best to make her life as miserable as possible. The Dean was certainly no match for the Kinney! I just got caught up in all the situations. MAN! the excitment never ends from one chapter to the next. Great job.
Looks like things are not going well for anyone. I see Claire went from one bad situation to another. I hope the nephews get into that school. Above all another great chapter.

That Craig is clueless. Love how Brian talked to Eddy. I'm sure the man is going to be surprised by John and Peter's scores. You actually have me feeling sorry for Claire. Great chapter all around.
Author's Response: Craig is pretty determined to see only his own distorted view of life. I don't think Eddy will be anxious to see Brian again too soon. Might be a little angst over some scores. It always annoys me to no end when people judge kids and look only on their social status. Thank god there is Brian!
Poor Claire - I know, she is not the lovely person at all, but terrible to think one day her sons will find out what kind of "problems" Claire has to face. It´s hell. Is there any hope?
After a terrible busy time I enjoyed my first day off with reading the latest chapter- just superb! Thanks a lot!

Author's Response: I think Jennifer probably was glad to have the opportunity to let Craig know how she felt about him. Brian and Dean Dennison were a confrontation waiting to happen. I think there is a little drama coming with John and the Washington Academy. C;aire really needs to start addressing her issues and acknowledging her addiction. Happy that you are enjoying the story.
