I can't see why Brian would want Justin to take the boys to see Claire it was like Brian was shirking his responsibility. It must be very confusing for John and Peter with the lies their mother has been telling them. I hope they don't have to return to her at the end of this fic.

I think Brian tries his best to avoid his mother and sister and is used to Justin looking out for him.
