I dont care for the way Brian handled Lindsay. A lot of us, probably not Kinney, do yearn for the approval of our parents. Its innate. And Lindsay herself admitted she does not love Brian, she just sees Brian as the symbol of her hope to be accepted by her family. The party was dashing that dream however foolish, and she knows it is. And Brian does not have the right to mock Lindsay's crying for her lost family. Why does Brian still care for his mother? It's almost the same thing.

In fact, Mel and Lindsay should have just discussed this among themselves. Brian is too much into the lives of his friends. I do believe in keeping family problems within the 4walls of their home. The birthday party for Justin would have been a wake-up call for Lindsay.

But hey, it's fiction! Just nice to discuss different povs :) I'll be reading the rest of the story at the other site. Seeyou there. ;D

Lindsay got exactly what she needed, a dose of harsh reality. I also think that it's time for Rena to tell Brian the truth about her rape.
