Hi! I'm Mara and I am 21 years old. I love Queer as Folk. I've found out about Queer as Folk when I was still in high school (I was about I think 15 years old, 6 years ago). At first I did not pay attention to QAF because I haven't yet liked male/male stories. I saw the DVD on my older sister's room (at the table) and did not ask what it is about. I feel regret every time I remember it because if I had liked QAF back then, I would've followed the series at its peak time and also because the series is currently being shown in the US. It's not only until 2008 that I got to really know about QAF. I stumbled about it on the net when I was looking for some shows, then I remembered seeing QAF long ago because the picture I saw was the same as my sister's DVD cover.
The reason I started to like male/male stories because I also love reading manga (Japanese comics). There is a genre that they call 'YAOI' and it is about man to man relationships.
I also like to read fanfics and watch tv series like CSI LV & NY, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Smallville and The Walking Dead.
