Hello!  My name is Fatima, and I am Brazilian. I live in Rio de Janeiro and love reading B and J fanfiction.  I just started writing recently. I have not yet mastered English, but I use Google Chrome and I will have no trouble reading any comments you may wish to leave for me.

I discovered QAF on YouTube in September 2010 through the original version in English. Even without understanding what was being spoken by the actors (unfortunately, I do not speak English), I fell in love with the show, Brian/Justin and all the regulars of Liberty Avenue, and to better familiarize myself with the show, I started to follow versions in Spanish and Italian due to some similarities with the Portuguese language allowing me to better understand the speech of the characters (principally the Spanish version.) The show was broadcast on pay TV in Brazil between 2001 and 2006, but was not advertised very much, and none of the episodes have been released yet on DVD.  

Due to this situation, we QAF fans in Brazil have to show subtitled versions of translations done through a lot of effort and goodwill, but without proper quality. To compound our problems, YouTube often deletes our videos of the show with subtitles in Portuguese.

But, despite these problems I have continued to follow the series passionately (I've lost count of how many times I have watched it!), plus spread the word to my friends and acquaintances to further increase the number of people who have fallen in love with the show.

I have read QAF fanfiction for almost two years, but only started to write stories six months ago. I was encouraged to write my own fan fiction when I did not agree with the ending of the show as done by the producers and writers (my first fic is my version of an alternative ending ), so I ask the readers of my stories to have patience with me because I'm not a native speaker and I'm still very inexperienced as a writer.

I thank all my readers for their kindness in reading my stories and sharing my universe with me.

Sou brasileira. Moro no Rio de Janeiro e adoro ler fanfictions B/J. Comecei a escrever há pouco tempo. Não domino o inglês, porém utilizo o Google Chrome e  não terei problemas para ler os comentários.

Descobri QAF no Youtube em  setembro de 2010, através da versão original em língua inglesa. Mesmo sem entender o que era falado pelos atores( infelizmente não falo inglês) me apaixonei pelo show, por Brian/Justin e todos os frequentadores da Avenida Liberdade  e, para melhor me familiarizar com o show, passei a perseguir versões em espanhol e italiano que devido à algumas semelhanças com a língua portuguesa me permitiu compreender melhor as falas dos personagens (principalmente a versão espanhola).O show foi veiculada na TV por assinatura no Brasil entre 2001 e 2006, mas não foi devidamente divulgado e nem foi lançado o DVD das temporadas no meu país.

Devido a essa situação, nós fãs do QAF no Brasil temos versões do show legendadas com traduções feitas a partir de um grande esforço e boa vontade, mas sem a devida qualidade. Para completar a nossa gama de problemas, o Youtube derruba frequentemente os nossos episódios legendados em português.

Mas, sem me importar com esses problemas sigo a série apaixonadamente(já perdi a conta de quantas vezes a revi) além de divulgá-la para amigos e conhecidos aumentando o número de pessoas que se apaixonam por ela.

Leio fanfictions QAF há quase dois anos, mas só passei a escrevê-las há seis meses.Comecei a escrever fanfictions por não me conformar com o final que os produtores e redatores deram à série( a minha primeira fic é minha versão para um final alternativo), por isso peço aos leitores das minhas histórias que tenham paciência comigo pois não sou um nativo de língua inglesa e ainda estou muito inexperiente como autor.

Agradeço a todos os meus leitores pela gentileza de ler as minhas histórias e dividirem comigo o meu universo.
