Summary:
Hello folks. Have you ever wondered what it would have been like if Brian had used his considerable intelligence and grown up a lot sooner after Justin left him that final time before the explosion at Babylon woke him up? What if it didn't take something quite so drastic? Here is my version of Brian and his journey back to Justin. I hope you will enjoy it. I owe a debt of gratitude to my beautiful Granddaughter, Marika, whose banner inspired me to this story. Thank you also to Judy for her amazing work as my beta. Let's pick things up with the aftermath of that famous scene when Michael told Brian off when he came drunkenly to Ben and Michael's house to confront them over taking Justin in, shall we?

Happy Holidays, my friends. I have this year's Christmas story ready for your enjoyment. The setting is the night before Justin makes his historic first-time trip to Liberty Avenue. I know, I know...this happened at the beginning of the school year, not December. Read on. Trust me, it fits in with the theme. LOL! One word of warning...this story is unbeta'd at the moment but I welcome any comments anyway. I hope your holidays will be full of love and peace and with all your loved ones nearby, no matter how you celebrate this Season. An extra special thank you goes out to my eldest Granddaughter, Marika for producing the banner. This is her first one for me and I truly appreciate her work. My dear friends, today is the second anniversary of the posting of my very first story. I can hardly believe I've been doing this for two whole years, but they have been among my happiest ever. The fact that so many of you have been so kind to me and told me you enjoyed my work is the icing on the cake and I will be forever grateful. In honor of your support, I offer you a solution to the mishap the producers of QAF called Season 5. This is my version of what caused the Season. It is a What If. I hope you will enjoy it. I promise the ending will be nothing like our last scene during the actual show. LOL!

This story is the result of the request by a wonderful reader of mine named Lorie. It begins in 2005. Justin is a young man in NYC who makes his living as the writer of gay porn and adult fiction. He has bigger goals for himself. He dreams of publishing the great American gay romance novel, but he has little to base it on. Justin does not do relationships and has little trust of others due to a painful childhood. Brian Kinney is the owner of his own ad agency which has taken on Justin's publishing house as a new client. What will happen when Brian and Justin meet eventually...two lost souls afraid of committment. I owe a huge debt of gratitude to my Granddaughter, Amy, for the banner and my friend Pat for beta help. I also want to thank Lorie for trusting me with her idea. So enjoy and remember that comments are always welcome. Okay my friends, I have something brand new and hot and delicious for your viewing pleasure. If this doesn't send you to the cold showers...I give up. I hope you will enjoy this story that was inspired by my weekend watching of an old movie called 'The Full Monty'. I want to thank Judy from my heart for her great beta skills and my darling Amy for the shiny banner. On top of that I just want to dedicate this to a few ladies who have supported and honored me with their readership for so very long and then turned into personal friends that I am truly grateful for. This one is especially for you Lori, Jacky, Sunny, Judy, Gerri, and Becky.

Hello, my dear friends and readers. Well now, I'm finally settled in my new and wonderful home (even if everything isn't put up yet ) and I'm ready to get back to work. My muse has had a nice vacation but I've politely asked her to restart her engines and get me fired up. The first thought that came to mind was a moving day for our beloved boys in tribute to what I'd just gone through. I'm sorry I have no banner to accompany the story but Amy, my Granddaughter, has been swamped with last minute school work, the move, and her volunteer work at her Mom's place of employment. She said she'd get one done this weekend but I couldn't wait to post the story. I hope you will forgive me. I am hard at work on updating my ongoing stories now and will concentrate on them until I've made up for making you wait so patiently. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for your kindness and understanding as I worked to improve the lives of my girls and myself. I hope you will enjoy my little story. It's a little tame but the love is always there. Now on with the story... Brian and Justin change their minds about their future (a guy has the right to change his mind too) and moving day has finally arrived as they start out their new life together. This story is dedicated to both Judy and Anita who suggested to me that the lyrics from this song would fit perfectly in a B/J story. I agree and I hope you will enjoy it too. The setting is right after Brian proposes to Justin and is turned down. This is a What if? story so I've changed Brian's response to the rejection. I want to acknowledge the wonderful lyrics of the song which belong entirely to the lyricist Jerry Herman. I also want to thank my dear friend, Pat for her beta skills and my Granddaughter, Amy for the breathtaking banner. First of all, please let me apologize for the long delay in getting this story started. I encountered computer problems over a week ago and then was hit by health problems that have kept me from working on my writing for over a week. I'm doing better each day and hope to be back in the swing of things asap. Now on to this story. This is the sequel to Double Trouble and it will help you to understand the characters and their motivations if you've read DT first. Hopefully this one will stand up well on its own, however. This story picks up four years after DT ends. This time it is Gus and boyfriend Jason who are graduating from college and their sisters who are graduating from high school. The story will look back on the previous four years and then move on to their new lives together. Brian and Justin, still happily married, look with pride on the kids they helped move into adulthood together. I hope you will enjoy this continuation of their saga and remember that I welcome all comments. Many thanks to the genius work of Eka for the banner and my friend Pat for the beta work. Enjoy! Summary:
It is the Winter of 1944 in occupied France. The allies have landed and slowly, so slowly, made their attempt to push to the borders of Germany. Sergeant Brian Kinney is too busy trying to keep his men alive and do his duty to worry about anything else, much less a personal life. Every thing changes one day when one of his men, recently killed in an ambush, is replaced with a raw new recruit, Private Justin Taylor. The kid looks like he's barely out of High School and totally wet behind the ears. The Sarge is not happy, especially when without warning Sergeant Kinney finds himself fighting a different kind of war than the one on the battlefield. I am dedicating this story to my 83 year old Dad who served bravely and honorably in WWII and the Vietnam War. I am also dedicating this story to all the GLBT men and women who also served with honor, but in silence throughout history. Many thanks go to the amazing Eka for her brilliant banner and to my friend Pat for her beta skills. I was watching that wonderfully dramatic episode where Justin confronts Brian about kicking him out after the cancer surgery. He is cooking chicken soup and waiting for his man to come home. I loved when he pushed Brian down and then ran to help him. It was the one time that he was able to prove he was the stronger man...in more ways than one. This one phrase kept running through my head and the only way to get it out was to write it down. I ended up with this little poem. Hope you enjoy it. Remember, I never claimed to be a poet. LOL!
