If you're wondering why the title... yes, it was inspired by "With Arms Wide Open" by Creed. I've been thinking of making this song into a story for years... and it finally came to me today. I sincerely wanted to get this done earlier, because my original purpose of writing this was to wish Predec2 a Happy Birthday! That's right, KP ;) I wrote a story for your birthday, cause I had to do more than just send a simple Happy Birthday wish. I was trying for sweet, fluffy and happy, and while I managed the sweet and happy, the song that inspired the story just led to a bit of angst. Date: August 06, 2013 Title: Chapter 11: Sabotaged. I would think Babylon would be worth millions. Well, I judged Babylon's value on two things. First, Brian afforded buying it after Kinnetik had only been open for a few months. Since Babylon wasn't at it's prime when he did so I decided to be generous and say it was worth 100 grand (Since Ted had said he had a large chunk of money to buy something fun with). Second, I looked up a lot of local nightclubs and what their market values were and they ranged from about 30 grand (pathetic right?) to a million. Now I live in a pretty wealthy place for the US and so I figured I would pick something in the middle. I decided to go with about 400 grand, making Brian get a 300 grand profit in a place he's only owned for five or six years. That was my effort and logic behind it anyways. Also, I wanted him to get rid of both the loft and Babylon as kind of a symbol of moving forward, rather than holding onto the past, not that they were holding him back, just that he's starting a new life and doesn't need those old places. Date: August 08, 2013 Title: Chapter 1: Coming Home. No thank you . That was very informative. Is there no services that can help pay for a transplant, wouldn't it be better to throw a benefit at Babylon first ,then sale. We had a benefit to raise money for my uncle's transplant. will we find out what caused the liver failure? please It probably would have been, and with the history of the show a benefit would be fitting, but Brian was way too distracted. He was just thinking of getting the most money in the least amount of time. And the cause of the liver failure will be revealed. :) Summary:

Date: March 04, 2015 Title: Chapter 2: Chapter 2 I like where this story is going , but wouldn't it be easier and faster to sell the corvette than the loft, and why does he need to go to England ? If Vance just pitched Kingston isn't he in the Pitts. It would, except Brian doesn't only want to get to England, but he also wants to pay off the last of his credit card bills. If he only sold the 'vette, he'd still have a hundred thousand dollars to worry about. I guess I should have been more clear about it, but he assumed that when he got Kingston as a client, the money from that would buy him a new place to live. And in the next chapter you'll find out that Vance's rep went to England as well, so Kingston is in London - making them come to him. Thank you for leaving me some feedback!

Mr. Kinney was a little bit of a bully himself, He needed to stand up for the children , but calling a kid snotnose is bullying. We know better and so does Brian. Glad you liked the chapter.
