LOL OMG this is fantastic!  A great change from the seriousness of MHD.

Brian Kinney is a trip.  He knows his Sunshine will do pretty much what he's told, as long as Brian is the one giving the orders.  And I agree with Justin.  Playful Brian is the best!

On to the next chapter.  Can't wait for more!

Author's Response:

Hi, dear friend!  I'm so happy to see you reading this one. I had such fun writing it (in a cruel, sadistic way - ha!).  I have thought often of doing a sequel to the sequel ("Payback" - I hope you will enjoy that one, too.:)).  Finally back home from Germany, so at last I can start updating my stories again.  But what an experience!  I have a group photo on my author's page if you want to see it.  And LOTS of photos on my Live Journal page, also.

Thanks so much for reading, for the comments, and for all your support.  Hope you are doing well, my friend.  *Hugs*  Kimberly

LOL Brian, Brian, Brian.  You are soooooo cruel!  And I'm loving every single second of it.  I have a feeling Justin is going to be more than happy to see him when he finally returns!

Author's Response:

Oh, he's going to be a bad boy to Justin before it's all said and done - but it will work out quite well for our not-so-little blonde, don't worry.:)  Thanks for the comments, my dear.  So glad you're enjoying this!  *Hugs*  Kimberly

LOL Kim, you are EVIL!!!!  Poor Sunshine is being tortured so badly!  I can just imagine Mr. Wong's expression when he was given the message to put in the fortune cookie, but what a great one to give him!  Even though that started a very bad time for them, it also brought them closer together than ever before.  And it proved to Brian just how much Justin loved him.

On to the next chapter of Justin's torture!

Nita

Author's Response:

Ha!  I know - poor man.  And Brian's not done with him yet!  Not to worry, though - our Mr. Kinney, being the consummate ad exec that he is, will come through for his man yet.  Thanks again for reading and for the wonderful comments, Nita.  *Hugs*  Kim

LOL yep! It was definitely one of a kind! LOL  Brian Kinney soooo gives a shit!  He loves his Sunshine and always has ;o)

Love this story so much.  Such a breath of fresh air from the seriousness of the other story, but still shows the love between the two men.  Great job!

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita - yes, I'm going to have to seriously think about a more lighthearted story when I get one of my others finished; even I get weighed down occasionally by all the angst at times.:)  I'm thinking of a sequel to this story where their friends send both of them on a scavenger hunt (won't say anything else - don't want to spoil the story for you).  I'm so glad you're enjoying this one - it's one of my own favorites.  Thanks again for all the comments!  *Hugs*  Kim

I'm loving how all the people are in on the joke....EXCEPT JUSTIN!  So typically Brian! LOL

That picture is probably going to end up with a place of honor on Justin's bedroom wall....looking down at him while he attempts to get some sleep.  And I have a feeling Brian just might regret offering to reverse roles.  There may not be anything gentle about it when Justin finally gets his hands (and othr body parts) on him! LOL

Author's Response:

Ha! So happy you're enjoying this story, my friend!  I admit it was getting difficult toward the end, coming up with yet another side trip for our little blonde.  But I had such fun writing about poor Justin's misery.  His man will make it up to him soon, though...thanks again for reading and for the comments!  ~Kimberly

Too funny!  I can just see "Pee Wee" drooling at the sight of Sunshine!  Good thing Brian wasn't there, or being a nerd would have been the LEAST of the man's problems! LOL

I see Justin is starting to plan his revenge.  I almost feel sorry for Brian.  Almost, but not quite! LOL

Another great chapter.  Love this story so much.  Parts of it have made me laugh harder than I have in a long time!

Author's Response:

Yes, I DO love a jealous Brian as well!:)  Justin will definitely exactly revenge in the sequel ("Payback.")  Brian's not the ONLY one who can play that game!!  I'm so glad you're having a good laugh with this one - I even went back and read parts of it again myself.:)  Thank you for letting me know how much you're enjoying it - you're heading for the big showdown now.:)  *Hugs*  Kim

ROFL This was a good one!  Poor Justin and his dreams!  That was too damned funny!  I can just see him with feathers in his mouth!  You're good!

He should have known Cynthia was in on aeverything.  When did Brian EVER plan anything without his other favorite blond helping him?

And the boy on the carousel!  I know he thought Justin was crazy!  If he only knew! LOL

This is great.  My favorite so far of your stories.  And when I say it's better than Remember Me, that's saying something!  I love this!

On to the next one.  I have company coming in tonight for the weekend, and I'm trying to finish it before she gets here.  Otherwise I might have to ignore her until I'm done! LOL

Author's Response:

Hey, Sweetie - Yes, I couldn't resist having poor Justin coming up with a mouthful of feathers from the pillow - ha!  At least he didn't do poor Mr. Canoodles and Mr. Doodles in.:)

So relieved to know that you're doing so well!  And I'm delighted you like this story. You'll have to check out Justin's revenge in "Payback" when you get a chance, too.  Hope you get finished in time to pay your company some attention - LOL!  Thanks again, my friend, for all the wonderful feedback.  *Hugs*  Kim

OMG OMG OMG Squealllllllllllllll   Ok, calming down now...sort of! LOL

Wow! For someone who claims not to do romance (yeah, right Brian.  Tell it to someone who believes you), this was certainly a romantic proposal!  One that lasted 2 weeks.  Just wow!

Diane is a smart woman.  I've always said it was a bunch of BS that Justin was practically forced to go to New York.  He'd already told Bimbo (aka Lindsay) that Brian was his opportunity of a lifetime, but she had to manipulate the situation just like always, knowing what Brian's reaction would be.  It's time they were together permanently!

Author's Response:

I like to think that Brian DID change over the years to where he could demonstrate how he felt to Justin; after all, he DID buy a house 'for his prince.'  BTW - there actually IS a marque for the Hershey store in NYC.  When I saw that I knew I had the perfect way for Brian to propose all over again.:P)  Thanks for the comments and for reading, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

LOL Justin speechless?  Don't think I've seen that very often.  Good job, Justin! LOL

So glad they're finally back together and getting married.  It's been a long time coming!

Author's Response:

Yes, at least in my world they always stayed together.  And I always love the idea of them getting married.:)  It WOULD be hard to shut Justin up since he's normally a regular chatterbox - ha!  Thanks for the feedback, my friend.:)  *Hugs*

I just love playful Brian.  I think it's my favorite version of him.  We didn't get to see it nearly often enough on the show.

After getting married, raw sex was the thing justin wanted most.  I'm so glad he finally got what he'd always wanted.  Brian would do anything for his Sunshine (and for himself as well).

This was great.  I'll start on Payback probably on Monday.  Can't wait to see Brian on the receiving end of the teasing for a change.  Serves him right!

Great story, Kim!

Author's Response:

So glad you enjoyed this one, Sweetie; I do hope you enjoy the sequel as well; Brian's not the ONLY creative one!  Thanks again for all the wonderful feedback and encouragement you give me!  *Hugs*  Kim

LOL!  You go Justin!

Brian should have known WHY his number was blocked.  Didn't he do the EXACT same thing to Justin only days before?  His memory is getting bad in his not-so-old age.

And the stuffed ram was cute.  Cynthia's reaction was priceless!

Great start to what I know will be another hilarious story.

Nita

Author's Response:

LOL!  Thanks, Nita!  He's just getting started, trust me!  Hope you enjoy reading it as much as I liked writing Brian's torment - ha!  Thanks for the comments, my friend.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

LOL omg Kim you are EVIL!  You and Justin can really come up with some really mean tortures for Brian.  Oh well, he deserves it!

Loving this story.  But then, I've loved every one of them so far so that's not a surprise ;o)

Great job!

Nita

Author's Response:

Thanks, Nita!  I TOLD you he was just getting started.:)  I would LOVE to do a sequel to this one where his friends some them BOTH on a scavenger type hunt. Maybe in my spare time (as if I ever had any!) I'll work on that.:)  Thanks so much for the comments; I'm delighted that you're enjoying Justin's payback treatment for his partner.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

HA!  Oh this just keeps getting better and better.  Poor Brian.  He's missing his Sunshine.  I guess now he sees what Justin was going through earlier.

I have a feeling the best is yet to come.  I'll try to get more reading time tomorrow.  At least I got halfway through it today!

Great job!

Nita

PS: I would LOVE to see the both of them on a scavenger hunt.  I can only imagine what THAT would be like! LOL  And I can certainly sympathize with the "no free time" problem.  There are never enough hours in the day for me.

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  I think Justin is just getting warmed up; after all, he had the master for inspiration!

I may try that idea about the follow-up scavenger hunt - I'm thinking of combining it with a honeymoon, since the boys were engaged in these stories and it would be a logical step. When I went to the QAF convention recently, we took a day trip to Amsterdam, so I'm thinking of sending them there.  It was a little, shall we say, 'unique' to see women advertising themselves in red-curtained, basement windows (legally) as we walked down the street.  I was told that when they had a customer, the red curtains were drawn to let everyone else know they were 'busy.'  And so many!  Now I know it's not legal for males to do that in Amsterdam, but I think for this story I may just have to bend the rules a little bit - ha!  If JUSTIN could do some window shopping in the art galleries, why can't Brian do the same?  LOL!

Thanks again for reading, Nita!  So delighted that you're enjoying it, my friend!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Poor Brian!  Justin is giving it back to him good! LOL  I'd say Payback is the perfect title for this story because he is certainly paying him back!

Love the idea of the paper dolls and accessories.  It covers just about every part of their lives, and reminds Brian (like he really needed anything to remind him) just how much he loves and misses Justin.

Love the countdown!  Just too funny!

Another great chapter.  Can't see what's in store for him next!

Nita

Author's Response:

Aww...thanks, Nita!  It took me a while to come up ideas for all those paper dolls, trust me!  LOL!  Glad you're enjoying it.  I really WOULD like to do a third installment of this, but don't know how long that will take.  I have a "Tricky" story I'm working on right now - maybe at some point.  Looks like you're got three more chapters to go - I hope you continue to enjoy it.:)  Thanks so much for the feedback, too!  *Hugs* ~Kim

Reviewer: buttercup32409 Signed
Date: July 09, 2012 Title: Chapter 5: He's Done Playing, Isn't He??

LOL  I've always loved Ted!!!!!

Brian does have vivid dreams, especially when he's not getting any and hasn't for several days (all the while being tortured with reminders!).

Our poor guy never stood a chance with Justin, Ted AND Cynthia all plotting against him.  He may as well raise that white flag because he is....for lack of a better word.....fucked (or at least he will be if he can survive long enough to get to Justin! LOL

Sorry, i couldn't help myself!

Another good one that has me laughing so hard.  This was the perfect treat during my  break from writing ;o)

Nita

PS:  Another Tricky story?  Yay!!!!  I LOVE Tricky!  But then I've told you that several times in the past, so you already know.  LOL

OMG!  These two are something else!  I can just hear those corny comments comng from the two of them!  Great job.

The line where Brian was stammering like a virgin fag was hilarious!

Ok, think I've got my laughing under control again.  On to the next chapter.  You've outdone yourself with this one, Kim!  Good God! LOL

Oh my!  Poor Brian never stands a chance when it comes to Justin.  His little ray of Sunshine knows exactly how to get what he wants.  Every.  Single.  Time!

I'm already laughing, so I can only imagine what you have in store for me. I've helped a friend move all day and i'm tking the night off from writing, putting my feet up, and reading another Kimberly original.

Great start!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  I'm smiling as I read this, because I had such a good time writing this one - I do hope you enjoy it as much as I loved tormenting Brian in this one!  Thanks for the feedback; if you're looking for a light read tonight, this one's definitely it!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

LOL yes you are, Brian!  You are soooooo fucked!

Getting Mikey involved is NEVER a good idea.  I wouldn't trust that weasel to do anything.  Not sure who Justin is getting involved, but Mikey worries me.  But then you already know how I feel about him.  Moving on!

These two just crack me up.  They both know that neither of them is going to deprive themselves of sex for very long, so there's really no point in even debating it.  Brian should just throw his hands up now and say "I give up!"

Author's Response:

Ha!  I totally agree - and trust me, Justin is going to totally take advantage of that fact!  Poor Brian - LOL!

I am literally rolling right now!  These two will argue about ANYTHING!

John Denver, Justin?  Really?  I don't blame Brian for trying to stop the torture! LOL

The woods, a bratty Justin, no electricity or running water, and no bathroom.  I have a feeling this will be a trip Brian will never forget!

Author's Response:

Believe me - Justin's going to have quite a repertoire of songs before he's done - LOL!  But don't worry - they remembered the Charmin at least.:)  As they say, 'you ain't see nothing yet!'  Thanks for the feedback, Nita.:)  ~Kim

First of all, I have to tell you I am totally on Brian's side with this one!  I would have wanted to go to the lodge too!  Who wants to sleep in a tent on the cold hard ground when you can stay in a lodge???  Sunshine is nuts!

I am laughing so hard at the bear commentary.  Too funny!  Good Lord!  I'll tell you what my survival plan would be......RUN LIKE HELL AT THE FIRST SIGN OF SAID BEAR!!!!!   I'm not sticking around to socialize! LOL

And you know the storm would only happen when it was Brian and Justin out in the wilderness.  Of course they'd get soaked to the skin!  But then that opened up a whole other list of possibilities, so it's all good!

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  Believe it or not, those precautions when meeting bears were actually in an honest-to-God park manual!  I thought it was hilarious, though, and I could just see "Mr. PSA" reading that to Brian, couldn't you?  LOL!  Thanks for the comments, my friend.:)

OMG Are you trying to make me laugh myself to death???  I snorted so loud I almost woke up the friend who's staying with me!  Jesus, Kim! LOL

I can just see them in the canoe, water rising, both of them panicking and sounting at one another.  Both of them are completely clueless when it comes to outdoor stuff!

Oh shit!  The gang's all here.  I guess Emmett was the one Justin was conspiring with before they left.  For some reason I'm sensing trouble here.  Of course when Michael is involved, I ALWAYS sense trouble.  Maybe it's just me! LOL

Ok, I'm almost stopped laughing, so on to the next chapter.  This is one of those I don't want to stop reading, even though it's late and i have to be up tomorrow. Darn!

Author's Response:

Ha!  You must have the same quirky sense of humor that I do, then!  They are definitely 'fish out of water' here, especially Brian.:)  I'm so glad you're enjoying this story!  It was one of my personal favorites as well.:)  Thank you again for reading:)

Spam and beans?  I am totally with Brian!  That is disgusting!  I think Justin has hit his head yet again! LOL

Poor Brian.  Having his naughty naughty partner sashay around like that had to be complete torture!  Justin can be mean when he wants to!

I knew it!  I knew they regret Brian getting Michael to come along!  And Emmett seems to be a devious as the weasel is!  Oh I can tell this is gonna be an interesting ride!  I'm all for that! LOL

Next!

Author's Response:

Well, Justin is one little innovative chef, isn't he?  LOL!  And Justin knows just what to do to torment his partner.:)  More torment to come, too!:)

Oh no!  Poor Brian!  He's really not having a good vacation is he?  First the rain and hail, then the sinking canoe, then the "bear", and now this!  If this doesn't prove to Justin how much he loves him, I'm not sure what will!

And if Justin has a habit of eating crap like that, I'm really getting worried about his stomace.  At least Michael snuck some food in for Brian so he doesn't starve!  Maybe the weasel is good for SOME things after all, even though he and Emmett are secretly pulling pranks on them!

Author's Response:

You don't think you would like "Taylor McMuffins?"  LOL!  Don't worry - Justin will eventually make all of this up to his partner:)  And the pranksters will eventually get their just desserts as well.:P)

OMG You are one mean woman!  And I'm not talking about what you're putting poor Brian though, I'm talking about what you're doing to ME!   I can't remember when I've ever laughed so hard!

Iridescent orange hair?  Oh My God!  I can just picture that!  And Justin laughing at him....oh boy he'd better be glad Brian loves him so much! LOL

I have a feeling the two practical jokers will live to regret this.  Brian is going to kill them when he finds out what they've done.  No, scratch that.  Brian will think death isn't punishment enough, so he'll torture them for a while, THEN kill them! LOL

On a side note, I was glad to see Justin is capable of cooking something EDIBLE!  And to answer your earlier question...No, I don't think I'd like Taylor McMuffins or his Spam and beas concotion either!  *shudders*

Good Lord!  Brian Kinney has such a fragile ego!  You woulld think he'd be happy that Justin knows him so well, but then again it IS Brian Kinney we're talking about here! LOL

His poor ass is taking a beating.  Even worse than Justin's usually takes! LOL Sorry I couldn't resist.

Brian should have known better than to get on the darned thing, especially after falling off a HORSE!  Now Sunshine will just have to take him back to their tent and kiss his boo boos to make them better.

Shaking my head!

Michael and Emmett keep digging their grave deeper and deeper.  Once Brian figures it out, they are going to be buried a whole lot more than 6 feet under!

Loving this story!!!  I feel sorry for Brian and Justin, but that doesn't mean I'm not having a great time laughing at their expense! LOL

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  So glad to see you still enjoying the boys' little camping trip.:)  And do not worry about them - they will be wreaking their own form of revenge very shortly.  Thanks so much for all your comments - so thrilled that you like it!:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Hoo Boy!  The shit is about to hit the fan now!  I have to admit, I was a little surprised and disappointed in Ben.  I figured at least he would disagree with their antics.  I just hope they're all ready for the fallout.  Whatever Brian and Justin come up with is bound to be painful and unforgettable!

Neither of our boys can keep anything to themselves, even when it would be in their best interests to do just that!  Was funny when each of them confessed to bringing one of the little troublemakers along, and neither of them could be angry about it! LOL

Another great job!

Nita

Author's Response:

Thanks again, Nita!  Well, I guess Ben would do certain things to make Michael happy, and he probably figured that it was all harmless fun.  But Michael and Em are about to find out that payback is NOT a comfortable thing.:)  Hope you continue to enjoy the rest of the story - get ready for Brian at the Goodwill - LOL!:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Oh my God Oh my God Oh my God!  High five!!!!!!  LOL

First of all, you had me rolling with the typical arguments between the two of them while they were hotwiring and painting the car.  Those two aren't happy unless their arguing...or fucking....or both! LOL  Too funny!

And then when I found out exactly what they had painted.......OMG!  I nearly died!  Soooooooooooo glad they got their revenge and in such a public way too!  I can just imagine the looks on their faces!  And Ben laughing about it was the icing on the cake!

And then the funniest line you have EVER written

"And just for the record…my dick is NOT the size of a cocktail wiener!"

Warn a girl next time, why don't you? LOL

Love, Love, LOVED it!

Author's Response:

Aww..you had me smiling from ear to ear with these comments!  I'm SO delighted that you liked this chapter!  I thought it was quite appropriate considering what they had been through, don't you?  And who better to 'highlight' their friends' "shortcomings" than our own little artiste?  I just couldn't resist, either, poking fun at Michael in that way.  So glad you liked this one!  I love to write humor, too, in addition to angst (honest  - LOL!); I think that's why I'm working on another Tricky story right now. Love how you write those scenes.  Playful but with plenty of love.  Totally Brian and Justin.

And then.....Booyah!  I can only imagine Michael's surprise when the cuffs were slapped on his skinny little wrist!  And then Emmett gets the same treatment!  Now I love Emmett, but he was wrong for what he did, so he'll just have to go along with weasel and suffer the consequences.

It brings to mind a song...."Bad Boys, Bad Boys, whatcha gonna do?  Whatcha gonna do when they come for you?"  LOL  Apparently scream, yell, cry, stomp your feet and then sit in the police car and get hauled off to jail! LOL

Yeah, I know I'm enjoying this a little too much, but it's priceless!

Oh Lord, here we go to the Goodwill.  Gonna put all beverages down while I read that chapter because I have a feeling anything in my mouth would end up all over me and the computer.

Here we go! LOL

At least Justin didn't force him to change at Goodwill.  Brian's new admirer might have followed him in there!  Now that would have been interesting! LOL

And then if that wasn't bad enough, Justin starts singing again!  Poor Brian!

If he ever gets back to the loft, Brian may never venture out again!

Ok, got to stop laughing before my neighbors think I have totally lost it! LOL

Nita, I'm laughing almost as hard at YOUR comments as you are over the story - LOL!  Thank you for that - I needed a little lift this weekend! Thanks so much for all of your feedback, too, my friend, that means a lot to me!  Wait until you check out the jail break!:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Brian as a police officer?  Man oh man how I would have loved to have seen that!  Justin can get him to do the damndest things, can't he? LOL

Hate to tell Emmett and Michael this, but I feel no sympathy whatsoever.  In fact, I'm in the Brian mindset....let them sit there for a while!  They deserve the punishment!

Ok, go get him, Kinney!  I never thought I'd say this, but thank goodness he's such a stud!  This should be easy! LOL

Oh, and I love the Hoover references.  Cracks me up every time!

Ok, Michael, stop whining and being an annoying brat, and thank Brian for risking his own neck to save yours!  And while you're at it, thank Justin for getting Brian to do it!

I knew it wouldn't take Brian long to charm their way out of the situation and get everyone safely out of there.  And telling Justin that he hadn't cheated in order to do it, just sent a shiver down my spine.  I love these guys!!!!

Love the continuing banter between our boys.  I always did love that part of their relationship, and it still brings a smile to my face when I read about it.  I'm sure that game of cops and robbers will be one of epic proportions! LOL

Wonder which Brian is gonna kiss first when they get back to the Pitts....The ground in front of the loft or Justin's perky bubble butt? LOL

Wow!  Just....wow!  I knew it would be a game of cops and robbers like we never played when we were kids! LOL  At least I didn't play it like that! LOL

Justin's not the only one who loves that playful side of Brian.  I think we all love it.  I wish we had seen more of it on the show.

More singing.  Maybe we'll see him on America Idol one day.  He's gotta be better than some of the contestants they've had on there! Ha!

And that last line....Oh poor Brian!  LOL

Wonderful story, Kim!!!!

Author's Response:

You're all done!:) I'm so glad that you enjoyed it, Nita!  I'll have to try and write another humorous one like this again sometime - if I can just think of the right scenario.:)  If I can pimp another one in the meantime, if you're in the mood for a similar one and havent' read it, you might enjoy "Justin Taylor:  Man In Tights" where they go to the Renaissance Festival

Thank you again for reading and for all the wonderful comments!  I really appreciate that so much.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

This was beautiful, especially the Jennifer/Justin scene.  I feel for Justin.  His father needed to get over himself and be there for his son.  Of course he would need a brain and a heart for that, and he lacked both.

It was smart of Fin to get extra security.  With all the nuts out there, you never know what can happen.

I just know everything is going to be perfect!  I just wish we could have actually seen it on the show.

Author's Response:

I'll actually have some photos in the chapter by the time you get to the actual wedding, BTW - I hope you like them.:)  And Justin's father will re-emerge in the sequel, but unfortunately it will NOT be a good way...Thanks so much for reading and commenting, Sweetie - you're heading done the homestretch now.:)

OMG this was WONDERFUL!  So glad Brian is finally opening his heart at least a little bit.

That had to be hard for Sean and Kathy, but like Tony said, the whole business of coming out is complicated (at least for most of us). Fin was just trying to fit in back then, and I think on some level he really did love Lydia and had imagined maybe having a future of some kind with her.

You had me laughing at the ice cream comment.  I can only imagine Jennifer's face when Brian told Fin that!  Poor Jennifer, they always did love to tease her!

And a Daphne/Justin moment!  I love those ;o)

Just a great chapter in every way.

Author's Response:

LOL!  Well, you know Brian - he tends to speak sometimes before he thinks first - ha!  I think while Jennifer's used to it, not sure about the rest of their company.:)  Thanks again for the lovely comments, my friend.:)

Gotta love Gus!  He's got Brian and Justin wrapped right around his little finger.  Love it!

Justin strikes again.  Brian doesn't stand a chance when it comes to him.  Poor guy! LOL

Can't wait to see what happens at the rehearsal dinner.

Loving this story!

Author's Response:

Thank you, Nita!  I do love to include Gus when possible because of how tender Brian becomes when he's around him.  I will be featuring him more in this story as well as the sequel, too.  I'm so happy that you're enjoying the story!  *Hugs*  Kim

So glad Fin finally found a way in.  My heart goes out to Brian.  He's been hurt so much, so it's completely understandable that he's wary of being hurt once again.

Leave it to the blonds!  They usually get what they want in the end.  And yes, I'm speaking from personal experience on that one! LOL

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  So glad to see you reading the next chapter!  Maybe I should dye my hair blond - LOL!  Yes, I imagine Brian would be hesitant to become involved with the father he didn't even know, but he will eventually warm up to Fin.  Thanks again for all the feedback - Hugs!  ~Kimberly

Oh God.  Nobody ever said Jennifer was the sharpest knife in the drawer!  After all, she did marry Craig Taylor!  And then she was dumb enough to tell Brian to stay away from Justin when he was the one person he needed!

I swear, sometimes when I'm reading scenes between Fin and Tony, I have to re-read the names to make sure it's not Brian and Justin! LOL  I'm beginning to wonder if Justin and Tony aren't related as well!  Are you sure Craig was his father? LOL  Oh that would be a stretch even for you!

Anyway, another great chapter.  Fin didn't endear himself to his son by interrupting the sex, but Brian will get over it.  I have a feeling this little conversation might get interesting ;o)

Author's Response:

You're right!  Brian will still take some convincing, though; and of course the similarities are intentional.:)  Now for a little bonding between the two pairs of men....thanks so much once more for all the support, my friend!  ~Kim

You know, I actually am beginning to feel sorry for Fin.  He knows he made a big mistake and he's trying hard to make up for it.  And he's right.  They're both way too stubborn.

Oh, and what's up with the Italian furniture?  Is there a gene for that or something? LOL

So glad Brian has Justin.  This whole situation has to be killing him inside.  A good roll in the old loft bed will cure what ails him though ;o)

And you ended it on yet another "oh shit" moment.  They'd better pray Debbie isn't working.  She'd pounce on them so fast they'd think the media were nothing! LOL

Ha!  Hi, Nita!  Glad to see you reading again.:)  You're right - Debbie is like an unstoppable freight train!  Thanks as always for your comments, my friend.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Perfect end to a wonderful story.  I still say Emmett has horrible timing, but he knows how to throw a wedding and reception party!

Good to see Brian and Fin taking baby steps.  Brian deserves to have a father's love.  And Fin is really trying.  I think Brian finally sees that ;o)

Now on to the sequel.  Looking forward to more of Brian/Justin/Fin/Tony and whoever else you throw into the mix.  I'm sure it's gonna be an interesting journey ;o)

Ahh...at last you made it!  Thank you for all the comments!  Now get ready for a roller coaster ride, at least after the boys come home from the honeymoon...and I have lots of pictures of that.:)  Thanks again, my friend!  Hope you enjoy the intrigue coming up.  I'll be getting it updated, BTW, very soon as soon as I'm done with Tricky wreaking his havoc on Brian - ha!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Loved this!

The dance with the moms (and I agree, as annoying as she is, Debbie has always been Brian's mom) was so touching, as was the conversation Fin had with Kathy.  I'm glad they were able to clear the air about everything.

I do wish Justin had taken his opportunity while he had a lethal piece of cake in his hand.  That would have been funny as hell, even though I'm sure Brian would have "punished" him later.  Which would have been nice to read about as well!

The toasts were great, and Daphne was one of a kind as usual.  Just love her!

The only problem I had was with Emmett's timing LOL  It really was bad in this situation!

Another great chapter.

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  You're so good to me with all your reviews and thoughtful comments; thank you for that!  I'm so pleased that you're enjoying the story - you're about done.:)  Thanks again - hope you like the sequel, my friend!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Date: April 07, 2012 Title: Chapter 29: The Wedding Reception - Part One

Finally Emmett got to see a side of Brian that all of us had seen and loved all along.  It was obvious from the very beginning how much he loved Justin!

The wedding reception is fabulous!  Loving everything about it from their first dance (At Last indeed!), to Chanda Leer (Go Darren!) to the dance between Fin and Tony.

And you ended this chapter perfectly with Justin finally getting through to Stubborn, Jr. and getting him to agree (as much as Brian Kinney ever agrees) to stop being such a prick when it came to Fin and Tony.   I don't think he's going to be doing cartwheels for them anytime soon, but at least it's a start.

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  I always thought Emmett would be the perfect wedding party planner - and I thought he made a 'kick-ass' business partner for Justin in the wedding cake business in "Stirring Up Trouble" for the same reason.:)  I'm delighted that you enjoyed their reception, and I thought Chanda Leer was an appropriate addition to it.  Poor Tony is still very wistful about wanting what Justin wants, and that will come up again in the sequel.  What happens, though, will be up to my plot bunny.  I have an idea where I want to take it, but I suspect it will take me a while to get there.:)

Like your name for Brian, BTW ("Stubborn, Jr.") - LOL!  Perfect title for him.  I figured a true father of Brian's would have a lot of traits in common with his son.  And as I mentioned before, I don't think it's realistic to except father and son to get all lovey-dovey all of a sudden, but I DO see them growing closer as time goes on and Brian determines he can, indeed, trust his father to treat him like a true son unlike Jack.

Thanks again for all your comments, Nita!  And hang in there, my friend; things WILL get better.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Holy crap!  I love that tent!  I want Emmett to plan a party for ME! LOL

Love the way you write Sean and Kathy.  Such a wonderful couple.

Great Brian/Justin/Jennifer moment.  So glad Jennifer has always been so supportive of Justin, and the line about Brian having a mother is 100% correct.  Debbie gets on my nerves sometimes, but she has been a mom to him for most of his life.  Thank God she was since Joanie was such a bitch.

But my heart still goes out to Tony.  He's just gonna have to sit Justin down and get some pointers from him on how to tame those big, bad, stubborn as hell O'Connor men.  If anyone can help him it's Justin.

Looking forward to the sequel.  If it has anything to do with politics I'm gonna be in complete heaven, since I can talk Dems vs. Republicans all day long and usually piss off people in the process! LOL  I live in the south and not a lot of people like my opinions! LOL

Author's Response:

I hope you don't mind all the replies, Nita!  I do enjoy all your thoughtful comments - it's almost like living through it again and it brings back some good memories.:)  Tony and Justin will continue to bond and their friendship will continue to deepen here and throughout the sequel.  I loved the dynamics of Brian, Justin, and Jennifer and how Jennifer's and Brian's relationship changed to one of mutual respect by the end of the show.  I still remember that comment about, "Who do you think I am?  Judy Garland?"  LOL!  And Sean and Kathy WILL show up in the next story at some point.:)

As far as the sequel goes, you should enjoy it then, because it involves a lot of political backstabbing and strategy.:)  I do hope you like it!  Fin will find himself, as well as Brian, challenged by the conservative element as well as by some scheming within his own staff.  Thanks again for all the insightful comments, my friend.  ~Kimberly

I'm bawling here!  Such beautiful vows from both men.  If anyone had any doubts about how much Brian loved Justin, or vice verse, those vows would have cleared it up.

And then you threw in the well-timed humor with the bird and the banter, and Debbie.  Perfect!

Loved everything about this chapter.  So glad they finally did it, and I love the picture with the left hands wearing the rings ;o)

Author's Response:

Thanks, Nita!  I was proud of this chapter, too; my father has actually used that bit with the paper bag from time to time to scare off hawks around our house - it makes quite a loud, booming sound.:)  I'm so glad you enjoyed this one.  They'll be a few more photos for the reception, along with some uniquely B & J moments of celebration as only they can do (wink, wink).  Thanks so much for all the comments - you're in the home stretch now.  Then it's onto the honeymoon in the sequel before the boys get entangled into some dirty old politics.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Reviewer: buttercup32409 Signed
Date: April 02, 2012 Title: Chapter 17: Out In the Open

So much pain right now.  Justin hurting for Brian and blaming himself for setting the whole thing in motion, Brian happy to finally know the truth, but hurting because of the mistake Fin made at the beginning of it all, Tony worried about Fin and what the revelation and announcement will mean for his career, and Fin being brave enough to finally come out to the world, while hurting because of Brian's hesitancy to get to give him a chance.

You captured it all perfectly in this chapter.  I could feel all of it.

I honestly don't get what the big deal is when it concerns someone's sexuality. We love who we love, and we hope they love us back just as much.  It's as simple as that, or it should be.  Everything else is bullshit and total nonsense!

Great job, yet again!

Author's Response:

Hi, Dear!  Yes, there are a lot of emotions generated from this story - so many threads that are woven together.  Eventually things will smooth over somewhat, but you will discover in the sequel that Fin's run for governor will unfortunately once more bring the bigots to the surface.  It's true - what others do shouldn't bother us as long as they are happy with their love.

Thank you again for all the encouragment - I am very appreciative.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

As always, I loved the banter between Brian and Justin.  Also loved the sarcastic introduction by Brian.  You've gotta love him for that! LOL

Ummm Michael, the reason they didn't tell you was because it wasn't any of your business!  I've said it before and I'll say it again, I CAN'T STAND THAT LITTLE WEASEL!!!!

Whew! Got that out of my system LOL

On to the next chapter!

Author's Response:

Thanks, Nita - I tried to keep them in character as much as I could and I always found the boys' witty comebacks a lot of fun.:)  As far as Michael goes - I tried not to make him TOO whiny and annoying in the story, since he was Brian's best friend.  But I totally agree - he was definitely NOT my favorite character on the show.  He finally developed a little bit of a backbone to be his own person toward the end of the show, but I will still never like his character.  If it's any consolation, I really don't see him playing a huge role in the sequel, although he will pop up from time to time; I think he would have to due to his place in Brian's life.

Anyway, thanks so much for all the comments!  And take care of yourself - I'll be thinking about you.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

OMG the "I am, aren't I" from both of them had me laughing so hard!  Poor Tony and Justin!

And then you had me laughing even harder with the banter from our two favorite men.  I kept waiting for Justin to say something along the lines of, "Well if you bottomed more often, you wouldn't be so sore!"  LOL

I felt sorry for Fin toward the end.  I honestly still can't fathom why it's anyone's business what we do in our bedrooms.  People really need to get a life!

Another wonderful chapter.  Gonna try to finish this one over the weekend, and hopefully start the sequel next week.  I'm loving it more and more!

THANK GOD!  For some reason I started singing 'Ding Dong the Wicked Witch is Dead!" LOL  Sorry but I can't find myself shedding a single tear for the bitch.

Can't believe Justin and Michael are working together to clean out the house.  Ok, I know they did the comic book together, but that was only because it served Michael's purposes.  If I were Justin I'd walk cautiously and not trust him at all.  In case you haven't noticed and I haven't told you lately, I hate Michael Novotny-Bruckner! LOL

Wow!  Can't wait to find out what that paper was, although I have an idea.  I hope I'm right and that it works out.  it would be great for Brian, although I'm not sure Michael would like it too much.  Hell, that would be even better!  On to the next chapter!

Oh boy, a suspicious and concerned Brian is never good when you're trying to keep something from him.  Totally loved the NPH reference though.  I love him and his family!  Those twins are adorable!

Anyway, I'm glad Carl was there for Justin.  Ever since he's learned that not all of us in the gay and lesbian world are mindless jerks, he's become a true fathe figure to most of the boys.  I'll never forget the scenes between him and Emmitt after the bombing.  Classic!

And that last line (actually the last word) makes me even more sure I've got this right.  Yep!  Brian's going to be totally floored ;o)

Justin, Justin, Justin... In the future if you plan to keep something from Brian and you want Jennifer to cover for you....LET JENNIFER IN ON THE PLAN! LOL

OMG I hope they find his real parents and that they're willing to have a relationship with him.  It would be wonderful for Brian to have them in his life if they are good people.

I so adore Emmett!  He is so much fun!  Just what Justin needs while waiting for such big news.  And I'd choose the vanilla cake, only without the coconut frosting! LOL

That last line is soooo true!  Anyone would be blessed to have Brian Kinney in their life.  His heart is as big as the ocean.  He just had to learn to trust, and to have someone love him for who he is and not what he can do for them (unfortunately the entire 'family' is guilty of that! Except for Justin of course)

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  I see you've figured out that BRIAN is the adopted one; I never DID think he looked like that idiot of a father.  I hope you like Brian's real father; I have become very fond of him to the point where he seems like one of the original characters.  Hope you enjoy the rest of the story!  Thanks for reading and taking the time to comment; I really appreciate that.  *Hugs*  Kim

Ok, I first have to say those two are sickenly sweet when they're together! LOL

Poor Brian.  He really needed a mother.  I know he had Deb, but let's face it, she is always quick to blame him for anything that goes wrong when it's usually her precious son's fault.  I love her, but she does have that tendency.

I certainly hope his grandparents will accept him and Justin.  You've gotta love Sunshine for doing this ;o)

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  Thanks for the feedback.  Hope you can overlook the lovey-dovey stuff - ha! But I wanted to show both of them as supportive of each other.:)  Brian's new-found family will be getting to know him better, and it will take some convincing from several people for his father to acknowledge him.  But I hope you will stick with it and like the direction it's taking.  Thanks again for taking the time to comment - I appreciate that.:)

Yet another adorable scene between the two of them. The love just continues to shine through!

The guy at the state house obviously does NOT know Justin Taylor. If he was persistent enough to stalk Brian until he wore him down, he can certainly handle Brian's father. Same genes, so he just has to follow the same route. Go Justin! Got get your man's dad! Ok, that sounded a little wrong, but you get the idea! LOL

Author's Response:

Yep!  You're onto me; and you're right - you will find eventually that Tony and Justin will become good friends - not sure if it's because they have so much in common with two stubborn men, or if they have to out of necessity!  LOL!  Thanks again for taking the time to comment!  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Ok, I know you said in an earlier reply to one of my reviews that you loved his father, but right now I've got to tell you that the only thing I see in him is total jackass. If I'd been Tony I probably would have walked a long time ago.

Poor Justin. It had to break his heart to leave things like that. He wants this so much for Brian, and for his father (who is so much like Brian) to decide his career is more important is just wrong.

While I hated the chapter for those reasons, it was a very well written one. I'm sure you're going to knock some sense into Fin eventually, but right now I'm about ready to knock something myself! LOL

Author's Response:

Love the thoughtful replies to each chapter - thank you for that!  Yes, Fin is winding up being just as stubborn as another man we know!  But his partner is about to knock some sense into Fin himself without Justin's help, don't worry.  The man is still coming to grips with what has happened, but his love for his partner is going to sway him quite a bit very shortly...

Just downgraded my opinion of the current Fin attitude from jackass to asshole. Oh he's going to regret his actions. I'm sure of it.

You go, Tony! A few years too late in my opinion, but at least you finally stood up to him and let him know he can't get away with treating you like that. Maybe it was the catalyst for waking the idiot up! I can't stand people who hide who they are. I for one fought too damned hard to be comfortable with myself. If someone can't handle who I am, then they don't need to be around me.

Getting off my soapbox now.

I'm loving Sean and Kathy more and more. They are going to absolutely love Brian and Gus! And Brian and Gus are going to love them.

Brian knows Justin so well. Once again you had the love shining through beautifully. If he keeps “punishing” Justin like that, the man is never going to do anything right again, just so he can take the punishment for it! LOL

Another wonderful chapter!

Author's Response:

Ha! Don't worry - I don't blame you about Fin.  But he will slowly be coming around, and I think you'll eventually warm up to him (I think....LOL!).  Sean and Kathy will be interspersed in the story off and on, and will show up eventually in the sequel, too.  I think it's important for Brian to have some support from them.  Thanks again for following the story and for all the wonderful comments, Nita.:)  *Hugs*

Well Fin, you made your bed and now you're lying in it all alone. Doesn't feel too good does it?

I feel so sorry for Justin and Tony. Justin is trying to do something wonderful for his partner, and Tony is trying to knock some sense into his. Hopefully happy times are coming for everybody.

Ok, I'm crying here. First of all, it's about damned time Fin woke up and smelled the coffee, hot cocoa, or whatever the hell he was smelling. He'd better get his act together because now that Brian knows the truth about why he refused to go see him, it's going to be that much harder to convince Brian his feelings are for real. Good luck, Fin! Brian can be just as stubborn as you can.

The conversation between Brian and Justin was heartbreaking. Brian wanted to cry so badly, but as usual he held it in, and Justin was determined to be strong for his man. Beautiful!

Thank goodness Gus is on his way. We definitely need some Gus action! LOL

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  Yes, father and son may not know each other yet, but you will find a lot of similarities between them.:)  Stay tuned - things will be changing quite a bit in the near future and Tony & Justin will continue to find a lot in common with each other as well.:)  Thanks again for taking the time to leave your comments; I really appreciate that!:)  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

You have me wanting to put my arms around Brian and give him a hug.  I can't even imagine what he must be going through.  To think he was the son of the Kinney's, then to get the good news that (thank God) he wasn't related to them at all, only to then learn that his mother is dead, his father doesn't want to meet him because he's ashamed of being gay, and now to meet his two wonderful grandparents.  WOW!  What a roller coaster you've put the poor man on! LOL

I love Sean and Kathy.  and I have a feeling they're going to spoil Gus rotten. Brian too if he'll let them.  It's exactly what he needs right now.

I see Fin is coming to his senses and realizing (just like his son did about Justin) that he cannot live without Tony.  A few days with no sex and no contact with his soulmate whipped him right into shape and got him ready to talk.  Yep!  It will work almost every single time! LOL

Another great chapter.  One of these days I might just finish this story!  And I see you've already started a sequel, so I can move right on to it ;o)  Love it!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  I'm perfectly fine with you going at your own pace; I'm just grateful that you take the time to leave me your thoughts; that makes me very happy.:)  And yes, I am working on the sequel and have several chapters finished. I should be updating it again very soon, also, and it WILL be completed.  I do see it as a quite long story, though, from all the different angles I want to cover, so I hope you like them long!  Thank you again for taking the time to leave your comments; I appreciate that so much.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

WOW!  I was a little worried there for a minute that Tony was going to walk away before Stubborn, Sr. had a chance to finally say what he was feeling.  What is it about the O'Connor men anyway?  I mean, geeeeesh!  Talk about a father/son resemblance that has nothing to do with looks!

Glad he finally came around and won Tony back.  And now he's ready to finally meet Brian.  Oh boy, I can only imagine what that's going to be like when Stubborn, Sr. and Stubborn, Jr. meet up.  I hope Justin and Tony have both paid all the premiums on their partner's life insurance.  Something tells me they might need to make a claim soon! LOL

Another great chapter.

Author's Response:

Ha!  Good names for them!  I have to agree with you about father and son.:)  You can see why Tony and Justin would need to join forces to stay sane around their men - LOL!  Thanks again for the lovely comments, my friend!  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

OMG I LOVED that movie!  Don Knotts was the bomb, and we lost a true genius when he died.

I don't blame Justin.  3:30 is way too early to get up, and since it was a grandfather/grandson/great-grandson trip, he didn't need to get out of his comfortable bed.  That whole scene with Brian struggling to wake up while Gus ran circles through the house was too cute and funny for words!

Tony is a sneaky one.  Reminds me of another blond who will be as sneaky as he needs to be in order to reach his goals.  Wonder who I could be talking about? LOL

LOL Brian and a worm!  I'm not even gonna comment on that.  My gutter mind could take things in a very wrong direction! LOL  That whole fishing scene was a good one.  Good for Gus!

Loving Sean and Kathy more and more.  So glad they've welcomed Brian with open arms.  And the love between Brian and Justin just gets stronger and stronger.

And then you end the chapter on an "oh shit" note! LOL  I have a feeling this is about to turn south in a hurry.  Yep, this is going to go oh so wrong when those two stubborn men start to butt heads.  Fin is about to meet his match, and I'm sure Brian is about to meet his as well.

Author's Response:

Ahh...someone ELSE who remembers Mr. Limpet - ha!  I did love Don Knotts and his comedy - he was one of a kind.:)  I'm glad you enjoyed the little fishing trip.  Sean and Kathy will be making another appearance later in this story and they are about to show up again in the sequel as well.

Father and son will continue their stubbornness but eventually they will arrive at a place of understanding at least.  I'm not sure if they will ever be as close as a traditional father/son, but they will slowly bond closer together.  Thanks again for all the wonderful comments, Sweetie; I'm so glad you're enjoying this story!  *Big Hug*  ~Kim

Just as I feared.  I know they'll eventually come around, but it was painful to read.  Brian had every right to feel that way.  I know justin was disappointed, but I would have been more surprised, and downright worried, if Brian hadn't acted that way after everything he's been through in his life.  It was just one more disappointment.  And then the abrupt change in the senator's attitude would probably have made anyone in Brian's shoes suspicious.

Now, for Lindsay.  Can't stand her.  Never will like her.  And I have to wonder what business is it of hers, and how can she of all people pass judgement?  Wasn't she the one who made sure Brian knew about the magazine article on Justin, knowing full well he'd push Justin away again?  Wasn't she the one who after knowing the man's partner was leaving, left herself and took his son to Canada?  So who is she to say anything about how anyone treats Brian?

Just had to say that because dispite this being the only lesbian couple on the show, I just simply can't stomach them!

Another great chapter.  I'll be back in a bit to read more after I eat a little dinner.  Thanks for sharing your talent with us.  It's simply amazing.

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  Now you know you're not allowed to have a dinner break - LOL!  Yes, as far as Brian goes, it will take some time for him to warm up to Fin.  And I agree - it wouldn't have been realistic any other way.  I actually am not fond of Lindsay, either - every time I come to her scenes with Mel on my DVDs, I normally promptly use the fast-forward feature - ha!  At least she is not featured too prominently in this story but mainly when the plot requires it if that helps to stomach her a little better.:)

Anyway, thanks again for all the comments and for reading!  I really appreciate that.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Ohhhhhh Love the beginning of the chapter.  I love quality Brian/Justin time, especially when they're being playful like this!  So glad Brian agreed to work with Fin (not that he had much choice once Tony and Justin joined forces).  And I wonder if we can get Fin to agree to run for president once he's finished being governor?  I'd vote for him!

And here we go with the two sneaky devils talking among themselves once again.  Poor Brian and Fin.  I almost feel sorry for them.  Almost! LOL

Craig Taylor is a bastard.  Justin should just say it like it is, but I know first hand how much it hurts to be rejected by the people you love because of who you are.  Not to that extent, but rejection just the same.  At least he has Brian, Gus, Jennifer. and the rest of the family who love him unconditionally. It's Craig's loss and he's missing out on a treasure because of his bigotry and hatred.

Another wonderful chapter.  Trying to get caught up so I can get to the good chapters I keep hearing about.  I've forbidden any of my online buddies to tell me what happened, but they keep telling me I have to hurry up and get to the good stuff! LOL

On to the next chapter!

Nita

BTW: the update I had promised you was sent in an email instead of  PM. Let me know if you want me to send it again.

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  So glad to see you reading along on this one!  And I'm glad to hear you're doing better.  I did get a recent email from you, so I think we're caught up.:)  I'm feeling much better today - just anxious to get rid of my IV that is attached to me 24/7.  Hopefully it will be gone on Thursday; I go back to the lung doctor Tuesday for a follow up.  Hope the bloodwork shows no infection left because I'm anxious to get back to work and get my strength back for the trip next month!

So happy you're enjoying this one!  I have a lot to tell yet in this story.:)  In the meantime, I'm working hard on the next update to "Parent Trap."  I think that is just getting warmed up - the girls are about to go into "reunite the fathers" mode - LOL!  Thanks so much for all your support, Nita.  I'll continue to think about you, my friend.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Well shit!  Although I figured the bastard would get involved (and i believe you had even told me he would) I guess I was hoping he wouldn't.  That is going to destroy Justin.  Hasn't he been hurt enough by Craig?

Glad to see Brian and Fin getting closer.  It's something Brian has always craved, even if he wouldn't admit it even to himself.

And Tony and Justin continue to make me laugh.  They are two of a kind and know exactly how to handle their men.

Getting good.  We even have a mole working for the other side while pretending to be in Fin's corner.  I guess he's never met Brian.  You do NOT want to piss the man off if you value your life.  Somebody needs to tell the mole this! LOL

Another great chapter, and very appropriate for the year we're in.  ;o)

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  So glad to see you catching up on this one.  I think you would agree that the sequel is going to be quite complex, due to all the subplots running through it.  Craig's duplicity may go unnoticed for a while, but you're right - eventually it is going to be discovered and when it is Justin will need all the support from Brian that he can get.  Thanks so much for the comments and for reading, my friend.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Ok, first of all I have to comment on Craig's logic (or lack thereof).  He says that Brian being Fin's son explains why he is gay because he obviously inherited the gene from his father.  But in the same breath he says that Justin is no longer his son because he is gay, meaning he thinks Justin is choosing to be that way. Typical bullshit coming from a homophobic prick.

Not surprising to see the two lowlifes joining forces.  Craig and Jim Stockwell are 2 of a kind

And the very end (if it is what it seems to be) just highlights a part of Brian that none of his "family" have ever been able to see.  Not Debbie, not Michael, not the 2 ignorant bitches or any of the rest of them even though it is obvious.  Brian Kinney is a very good man.

Another wonderful chapter.

You had me laughing with the image of Brian going into the headquarters for the first time.  Knowing how bad he hates even Justin's clutter, i can just imagine the expression on his face!  Too funny!  And then that slogan and sign.  OMG!  And once he finished with them, the staff had no idea what had hit them.  I love Brian Kinney! LOL

Craig is an ass.  I've said it many times already and I'll keep saying it.  And no, it will never stop hurting Justin no matter how many years go by.  That's something you never get over.

So glad Tony and Justin are going on the road with them.  SOMEBODY'S got to try to keep them in line!  This is gonna be fun! LOL

OMG Can I go with them?  I love that RV!!!!!!! WOW!

Loved the way Debbie stood up to her boss and refused to serve the two slimeballs.  He'd better learn and learn quick that without Debbie Novotny he has no diner. Turner sure knows how to align himself with the worst of the worst.

Laughed at Brian and Justin getting ready to leave. Great scene. Also laughed when Justin found out Brian was going to drive.  I think I would have been a little scared too!

Adam is bad news.  Hope they figure out who the mole is before he does too much damage.  If anyone can neutralize him it would be the O'Connor/Kinney men.

Oh yeah, one more thing...You made me love Brian a little more with the remark about Republicans.  Right there with you, Brian!   Tell it like it is!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  Thanks for taking the time to comment on each chapter and provide me with your thoughts - that is very helpful to me with the story and I appreciate that so much.:)  The world of politics does create some slimy bedfellows, doesn't it?  The RV, BTW, is an actual RV, or at least a combination of more than one RV.  I think this particular one cost $140,000 - wowsa!  I hope you continue to enjoy the remainder of what I have written - it is moving along now.  I will be moving a lot of the action back to Harrisburg and the Pitts going forward because there are a number of issues that I have pushed aside for the sake of the campaign that still need to be addressed.

Thanks again for all the comments, Sweetheart; that means a lot to me.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

I am finally back!

Ok, these two are freaking me out with everything they have in common.  Carnegie Mellon?  Really? LOL

I have a feeling Brian is either going to have to start eating some stuff he never would eat before, or he's going to be a very hungry campaign manager.  Sausages and chocolate chip pancakes aren't gonna cut it! LOL  And Justin knows this.  Shame on Justin, Tony and Fin for ganging up on the poor man!

On a more serious note, I baffles me how "intelligent", "mature", and supposedly "sane" people can make such asses out of themselves when it comes to someone's sexuality.  Hey, like Brian has said on more than one occasion, if he's not fucking you then it doesn't matter!  Get over it!

And he needs to send Adam home now.  Pack his shit for him and drop him beside the road in an out of the way place with no phone and no money.  Let him get home the best way he can.  Serves him right if he's hungry, thirsty and lost for a while.

Another great chapter.  Hope you had a wonderful holiday weekend.

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  I'm so glad to hear from you!  I hope you had a good weekend, too.:)  Yes, Adam is a real snake and he's not going to stop anytime soon -he's just going to go from bad to worse unfortunately.  I do enjoy writing about the similarities between the two couples.:)  Tony and Justin have become fast friends as father and son try to bond a little more deeply, and Brian and Fin's relationship will be evolving quite a bit throughout the story as you will find.

Hope you are doing well, my friend.:)  Thanks as always for reading and for your lovely comments.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Poor Adam and Stockwell.  Things just did not go their way.  Boo Hoo

LOL @ Brian in the WalMart parking lot.  And Justin has him completely whipped!  Brian knows it too.

Glad each couple got some alone time.  They needed it after they day they'd had.

Another good one!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  Well, I had to find somewhere that would accomodate the RV - LOL!  It kind of reminds of when Brian had to accompany Justin to the Goodwill in "Roughing It."  I see Fin as a very strong individual, just like Brian, but someone who is vulnerable when it comes to his son.  That will come to the forefront soon when Adam makes an unexpected move (don't want to spoil it for you.)  Thanks again for all the wonderful comments, Nita; I appreciate that so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Oh geesh!  This Turner character can really pick his friends, can't he?  Brian is going to have a shit fit when he finds out these two bozos are working for Turner.  I can only imagine the fallout!

The whole thing is really brining up some old hurts for Justin.  From everything Craig put him through to the bashing and the bombing, he's having to relive a lot.  Thank goodness Brian is there to help him deal with his old memories.

I've always wondered if Stockwell had something to do with the bombing.  Knowing how he felt about the homosexual community on Liberty Avenue, and especially Babylon, it wouldn't have surprised me in the least.  And now that he's once again fighting Brian and Justin there's no telling what he's capable of.

Loving this story!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita - I know - what a bunch of scumbags!  Justin's residual hurt over his father's treatment of him will come back up again later - there is so much I want to address in this story!  The plot will be moving back home soon so I can start working on some of the other plot lines.  Thank you again so much for all your encouragement, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Holy shit!  Ok that was bad.

I hate it when Brian and Justin fight.  Especially when Brian lets his pride and ego get in the way of seeing what's really going on.  Yes, Justin made a bonehead decision that could have easily gotten him killed (just like dumpster boy), but he did it to save Brian because all the rest of Brian's so-called friends thought he was guilty of the crime.  You do what you have to in order to protect the person you love.  Brian would have done the same thing.

Glad he finally calmed down and saw the situation for what it was.

And Fin is so right.  Brian would never be interested in either one of those losers.  For a one time fuck, yes.  For anything else, no way.  And he never had to force himself on anyone.  They always fell all over themselves to get his attention!  Come on!

Author's Response:

Ha!  I agree with everything you said, but what a couple of dimwits to think that they would be believed.  Don't worry - father and son are about to fight back.  It may have some repercussions that they do not consider, however (how's that for a teaser? LOL!).

Thank you again, my friend, for all the comments - that is what keeps me writing.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

You know, this Adam character needs to be dropped off in the middle of the interstate and run over with the RV.  He's seriously getting on my nerves!  I hope they realize what he's up to soon.

Oh this is so funny!  Glad they found out about the money and are exposing Turner for what he's done.  He and his stooges are going to regret crossing Brian Kinney.  Apparently they didn't do as much research on the former "Stud of Liberty Avenue" as they should have.  Nobody embarrasses him or his family and lives to tell the tale!

Poor Tony.  I feel for him, but like Justin keeps saying it wasn't so long ago that Justin was in the same boat.  Brian changed his mind about marriage and Fin could very easily do the same thing.  He just needs to be patient a little while longer.

Read that teaser you put in the last reply and you've piqued my curiosity.  Got to get some reading in today and get caught up.  This story is getting good!

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  Yes, I enjoy watching father and son going on the offensive when it comes to those two morons and Turner!  Adam is actually the real wild card right now (emphasis on the 'wild' part...).  His duplicity will be exposed very soon, though, and in a shocking way.  Glad you are enjoying the story, my friend.  Thank you again for all your support.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Another wonderful chapter.  I'm almost caught up, so you need to get writing! LOL  J/K

Author's Response:

Hi, my friend!  Got a few minutes and decided I'd better get caught up, too, on my replies.  I'm in Germany from being here for the convention and getting ready to leave in about an hour - can't wait to get back into my own bed and resume my story writing!  I'm so glad you're enjoying this story; I have the next chapter partially written, so it shouldn't take me too long to get it finished.  Thank you for all the comments!  *Hugs*  Kimberly

Hey!  No way in hell you can leave us hanging like that!  Here I was taking notes on everything in the chapter so I could give you a detailed review and then this? LOL  GEESH!

Thank all that's good and holy I can go immediately and read the next chapter to make sure Brian is ok.  If he's not, I might have to hunt you down! LOL J/K  I know you'd never do that....would you?????  Oh yeah, you did put Justin in a train wreck that left him with amnesia and Brian thinking he was dead.  There's no telling what you'd do!

Anyway, great chapter.  Adam is the creep I knew he was, and I predicted somebody was gonna get hurt. Damned if you didn't apparently make me right. Fin and Brian, along with Tony and Justin are acting more and more alike (gotta love the whole underwear thing between Fin and Tony.  So B&J like!).

Hopefully now that they have a real candidate who's able to play by the rules, they can get something accomplished.

Now to make sure Brian is ok before i go to bed.

Loved it!

Author's Response:

I loved the idea that you're taking notes for me - that's very flattering.:)  Yes, it was bound to happen with a loose cannon like Adam, but as you now know I didn't let anything too serious happen to either couple.:)  Stockwell will be dealt with soon as you know.  In fact, part of that will happen in the new chapter I'm working on.  The person who will hurt Justin the most, though, will be his father.  Even though they are estranged, it would still hurt to know your own father has been conspiring against you.  Thank you again for all your enouraging and supportive comments, my friend.  *Hugs*  Kimberly

Got sidetracked by a sick little girl last night and didn't get to finish until now.

Thank God, everyone is ok!  And Brian finally realizes just how much Fin has come to mean to him.

Poor Justin and Tony had to be worried sick, and I'm sure they're still worried about what's still to come.  At least Adam is out of the picture and ready to talk.  I wouldn't go down alone either!

Another wonderful chapter!  Loving this story and can't wait for more.

Author's Response:

Hi, Sweetie!  You're all caught up now, so I'd better get it updated soon!  I'll be working on it as soon as I get home - leaving in about an hour but it will be later this evening (our time) before I get back home.

You are right about Fin and Justin - they will still be worried.  But now that the new candidate is actually a decent guy, I don't see the same type of vitrolic hate spewing forth from the other camp at least.  I will be moving the story more to the Pitts and Harrisburg now in addition to the focus on the campaign, because I have a lot of other issues I want to address.

I hope both your daughter and you are feeling well at the moment - thank you again for all the time you took to comment and provide support for my stories - that means so much to me!  *Big Hug*  Kimberly

I don't know how you do it.  You make me love Brian Kinney more and more with every chapter of every story you write.  DAMN!

They're all having a tough time dealing with everything, and it's only the beginning.  Like you've said in previous replies to my comments, when it comes out that Craig is a part of it (and I'm guessing that's coming soon), Justin is going to be devastated.  I'm glad he has Brian.

As for the scene in the diner, I kind of agree with Justin.  Any other time, Deb would have been on the phone, demanding they take her call no matter where they were.  She should have let them know.  It probably wouldn't have changed the way things happened, but at least it would have given them a head's up.  I love Deb, but sometimes I do think she needs to be the recipient of one of those head slaps she's famous for!

And I'm getting the feeling that Brian and Justin are about to follow in the steps of Ben and Michael.  They're going to be great rold models for Alex.

Another great chapter.  Now that I'm caught up I'll just have to wait for you to write the next one! LOL  Hoping to start on Payback tonight if I get a chance.

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  What lovely comments; thank you so much!  I'm glad to finally get this one updated - at least it was a nice, long one.:)  Yes, there's still a lot to cover in this story and Justin will be hurt even more when he finds out what his father has been doing.  No matter how indifferent he might try to act, each time his father rejects him it drives the symbolic knife deeper into his heart.

As far head slaps, that reminds me of one of the funniest moments at the con.  On Sunday morning, the actors were up on stage for photo shoots and at one point Sharon reached over to hug Hal, and then gave him a couple of stage "Mikey slaps" that were just hysterical.  I got a kick out of watching the actors interacting up there with each other; you could see the genuine affection between them.  I do hope they give us an encore at some point (with Gale there, of course!).  Maybe if they stage it in the US that might help, but I would probably go wherever just to see them again.:)

Thanks again for the feedback, Nita!  I hope you enjoy "Payback!"  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Poor Justin!  This is going to hit him hard, but at least he is surrounded by people who love him.  He's going to need all their love and support now.  And I have a feeling Craig is going to need some love, support, and possibly surgery or a casket by the time Brian, Jen, Fin and Tony, Deb, and all the rest of Justin's family get through with him.  I would not want to be in that slimeball's shoes!

Love the laid back feeling of most of this chapter.  They needed some relaxation and family time.  And Justin and Gus together was adorable (as usual).

I agree with Jen.  As soon as he can, justin needs to tell Brian about wanting a baby.  They're going to make wonderful parents (they already do), and any child would be lucky to be part of the Taylor-Kinney family!

Another great chapter!  I had no idea when I sent you that email yesterday that this would be posted today!  I'll have to email you more often! LOL J/K

Hi, Nita!  Hey, if that can make me move faster, by all means send me MORE messages like that - ha!  I AM getting to update just a little quicker, since I'm not teaching at the moment.  And since it's supposed to get up to about 102 degrees here today, I'm not too apt to go outside much, either - ugh!  Who would have thought that the upper 80's forecast for early next week would sound cool?  Anyway, thank you for reading and for the comments, my friend; I really appreciate that.  And yes, Justin will definitely be hurt, but I think also more angry than anything else.  I think HE may just be on the warpath more than Brian, although Brian will be rising quickly to his boy's defense.  Thank you again for all the support!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

OMG Poor Justin!

Kathy is right.  Craig Bastard Taylor doesn't deserve a son as wonderful as Justin or a son-in-law as wonderful as Brian.  It's his loss, but I feel so sorry for Justin now that he realizes just how evil Craig is.

The scenes with Gus were so sweet!  Glad Justin had him to remind him how loved he is.  And Brian was there to pick up the pieces, just like he's been every single time Justin was hurt since they night they met.

Can't wait to see Craig get what's coming to him.  He deserves whatever punishment is given to him, the harsher the better.  Hopefully his carcass will rot in prison where he'll make lots of "friends" if you get my meaning!  Yeah, I'm mean that way when it comes to Brian and Justin!

Another wonderful chapter, Kim!

Hi, Nita!  Thank you for those thoughtful comments, my friend.:)  I'll try to give Craig some 'appropriate' punishment before this is all said and done.:)  I never did care for his character at all on the show, but of course I suppose that was the point.  Definitely not someone who gives you warm and fuzzy feelings; even in "Stallion," it's hard for me to write him as a well-liked character - ha!  I DID think it was important in this chapter that Brian show his love and support for Justin, but also step back a little to give Justin the space that he needed to handle his confrontation with Craig on his own.

Thank you so much for reading and commenting, Nita; and thank you for always being so supportive of my stories - I am very grateful for that.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Well shit!  Poor Justin.  Just when he thought he'd been through the worst, and that maybe he could finally put everything behind him and move on, he finds out Adam is out and probably aiming for Brian again!

Glad he finally told Brian about wanting a child, and I'm so glad Brian took it as well as he did.  He didn't say yes, but he didn't say no either.  That is HUGE for Brian Kinney.

I suspect that the more he thinks about it, the more Brian will warm up to the idea.  He loves his son, he loves his husband, and he will love the child they raise together.  Now we need to put the creeps in this story away permanently, get Fin in the Governor's mansion, and get our boys back to their normal chaos so they can move on with their lives.  But don't do it too quickly.  I'm loving this story!  Can't wait for more.

Author's Response:

Hello again, Sweetie!  I'm glad you're still enjoying this story.  Don't worry - I have so many loose ends yet, I think it will take a while to get it all completed and tied up  I should have the next part up very soon, since I had a lot of it already written.  Alex will be making a return appearance, as well as a couple of ne'er-do-wells.  (Hmm...who could it be?).  And which man will be the bigger problem?

I'll get this updated again shortly, and then it's onto "Parent Trap;" I'm just now getting to the climax there (in more ways than one - ha!).  Thanks again, my friend, for reading and taking the time to review.:)  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Wow!  Where do I start?

First of all, I feel for Tony.  He's exactly in the same position Justin has been in so many times.  He just has to have patience.  Fin and Brian are so much alike, so I know Fin will come around.  It's just going to take a while for him to stop being so damned stubborn!

So glad to see Fin and Brian forming a bond.  And it seems they are intellectual matches.  Just great to see after everything Brian has been through.

Poor Brian, he put his trust in someone, only to have it crushed once again.  That boy doesn't know how great a friend and ally he'd have in Brian if he'd just give him the chance.  Something tells me we haven't seen the last of the runaway though.  I have a feeling it's going to be Hunter Novotny all over again, only this time he'll end up being a Taylor-Kinney!  He couldn't have better men to look up to!

Craig is at it again.  Brian and Justin are going to be in a rage when they see him at the debate.  Things are going to get interesting.

And just when I thought you had thrown everything at us that you could, you end it with such a shocker.  Just wow!

Great job, as usual.  This is by far one of my favorite stories of all time.  I am completely and totally hooked.

PS:  I didn't get to write the story I was telling you about for the challenge.  It would have been way too long.  I'm still going to write it, though, and I'll be sure to give you a mention and to send you a copy when I'm done.

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  You put so much thought and time into your comments for this; thank you so much for doing that!  I'm thrilled that you are enjoying this story so much.:)  Yes, Craig is definitely intending to throw a huge wrench into the debate, but he just may be in for a surprise; his son has very sharp claws, especially when he is defending his husband and his father-in-law.:)

I'm sorry you didn't get a chance to include your story in the challenge; I would have loved to have seen their reaction to it.  But I'll be eagerly looking forward to it when you DO post it.  Thank you again for taking so much time and consideration into your feedback, and for all the support you give me for my stories; that means so much!  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Wow!  This just keeps getting better and better.

Poor Justin!  Craig seriously needs to get over himself and his homophobia.  Nobody wants to hear it anymore, and it is seriously hurting his son.  So glad Brian got there just in time to support him when he needed it most.

I have a feeling Adam isn't done yet, but I hope he gets what's coming to him soon.

And Alex needs to shut his mouth and realize that he's about to experience the best thing that has ever happened to him.  He couldn't have dreamed any better people to have in his corner than Brian, Justin, Debbie and Jennifer.  He's about to learn what love really is.

Great job, Kim!  I didn't see any mistakes at all, but then I don't look for mistakes in your writing, I just enjoy every single word.  Can't wait for the next chapter!

BTW. I know you've posted a couple of one shots lately, and I promise I will eventually get caught up.  RL is still being a bitch and it has me way behind.  Sorry about that!

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  OMG, I was just thinking about you today and wondering how you were!  I'm so happy to hear from you again, but very sorry to hear that RL is not treating you well.  I'm happy that you liked this chapter, however; I'm trying to tie up a few loose ends in the story, but still have quite a ways to go before it all ends.  Some things are winding down, but others are still just beginning in a way.  For example, there is a lot more to Alex than meets the eye, and I think both Debbie and Hunter will play a key role in breaking through that hard shell the kid has.  Stewart will be dealt with shortly; I feel he's pretty much caused as much havoc as I would like, and I'd prefer to start focusing more on the human aspect of the story and the relationships between the four men, Alex, Brian's grandparents, etc.  And there's that dream of Justin to be a father as well as Tony's hopes and dreams as well.  Whew!  I don't see this one ending fairly soon as you can imagine.

Thank you so much for reading and reviewing, Nita!  Please stay in touch as you're able to and take care of yourself; I'll be thinking about you, my friend.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Well holy crap!  I miss a few chapters and when I come back you just blow me away with THIS shocker!  HER??????

I missed this!  Another great chapter (as usual).   So glad Justin has Brian, Fin, and Tony to support him because I have a feeling he's going to continue to need it.  And I have a feeling Alex is going to need SOMEBODY'S support since she's having to deal with Debbie! But then again, Debbie is probably exactly what she needs.

Ok, on to the next one.  One good thing about not reading for a while is you get more than one chapter when you finally get around to it! LOL

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita - you ARE a few chapters behind - ha! So good to see you catching up.  You don't know how hard it was to write about Alex's character without giving that surprise away.;) And she's about to have some much-needed 'instructional' time with Debbie (poor kid - ha!). Thanks for reading this chapter and for the comments, my friend; I really appreciate that.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

Debbie's already working her magic.  And Brian, while being his usually sarcastic self, isn't fooling me a bit.  He already cares about the girl and will do anything he can to help her.  Same thing for Justin.  And I can tell it's brining up a whole new set of bad memories for both of them.

Glad Hunter is going to be around to help her.  If anyone knows what she's been through, it's him.  He can relate in a way nobody else can.

Girl, you can weave a story like nobody else.  I love this story so much.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Nita! You're very kind.:)  I do try to hopefully come up with a story plot that maybe hasn't been done to death before.  I'm so glad you're enjoying this one.  Probably heading off to bed soon, but thank you for going to all the trouble to comment on each chapter; that means a lot to me.  I'll be thinking of you.;) *Hugs*  ~Kim

Ok, first of all, I'm not sure the world is ready for another Debbie! LOL  And you had me laughing so hard when Alex bopped him on the head with the tray!  I've wanted to do that myself a few times!

Alex is right where she needs to be, and she's going to have all the love and support she could ever want or need.  She just has to allow herself to accept it.

Poor Justin.  I just want to give him a hug.  Brian too, because when Justin hurts, he hurts.

And we're finally at election day!  Was so proud when Fin made the decision to stand up for Justin instead of using the situation.  Finally Brian has a real parent who loves not only him, but his husband.

Now to get Fin in the Governor's mansion.....

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  Yeah, I couldn't resist Alex giving her difficult diner a little whack of reality - ha!  I think Debbie can definitely relate to this one.;)  And speaking of the governor's mansion, as I told another reader ever since I saw a virtual tour online of the residence, I've had all sorts of delicious thoughts going through my mind.;)

I'm so glad you're enjoying this story, Nita!  Thank you for all the encouraging comments; that is so motivating to me.;)  Take care and keep in touch.;) *Hugs* ~Kim

LOL Gus owns Brian!  I loved it!

The whole age/weight thing reminded me of the guy who wrote the scathing article about Brian when he won the hero award.  I can't think of his name right now, but he wrote that Brian was basically a pedophile and that he was 31.  The only thing Brian cared about was the '31' part!  Priceless!

Another great chapter.  The only thing that ruined it for me was, well, you know, Michael! LOL

Nita

Ha!  Don't worry - I totally agree about Michael - not my favorite guy on the show.:)  Thank you again for the comments, my dear; I appreciate that so much. :)

I adore the two of them together!  They always have so much fun, no matter what they're doing or where they are!

I wonder why Brian doesn't like men with goatees?  Could it have something to do with a certain fiddle playing asshole we all know and hate?  Hmmmmm

Justin had to know what would happen when he kept laughing at Brian, and even poking fun at his predicament in the drawing.  Brian always has to have the last laugh!  Although, i doubt Justin was complaining at the "payback" Brian demanded! LOL

Another great chapter!  Will try to read the rest either later tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Nita

Author's Response:

LOL!  I think you might be right about the goatee - ha!  I always DID think that looked ridiculous on "Ian" anyway.:)  Don't worry - the boys will be paying a visit to the 'funhouse' soon, and they will create a whole new meaning to the word; thanks again for reading and taking the time to review, Nita!  I appreciate that so much.  *Hugs*  ~Kimberly

Wait a minute while I fan myself.  That was just too HOT for words!

Love how playful you  made it.  It showed a whole other side to their lovemaking.  I laughed at the moving walkway, and now I'll never be able to watch Grease and see the Sugar Shack part of the funhouse without thinking of this! LOL  And then the wall of mirrors.  Too funny when Justin led them out with no problem.

Still not sure I'd trust my son with Michael, but I can only hope Gus has puked all over the man by the time Brian finds them.  That would make my day!

Loving this story!

Nita

Author's Response:

Hi, Nita!  LOL!  Liked your comment about Gus puking all over Michael - now THERE'S an interesting mental picture - ha!  Where else would the boys go but the 'funhouse?'   As you've no doubt noticed I DO enjoy playing with the boys with the back-and-forth bantering.  In fact if you haven't read "Roughing It" yet I think you would like that one.  Brian going camping?  Need I say more?  (Oh, and Michael gets a little comeuppance to boot!).  Thanks again for reading and for the lovely comments!:)

*CLAP CLAP CLAP* Wonderful!

This chapter had me laughing my ass off!  Gus is cute as hell, and when you combine him with Justin and let them gang up on Brian, it is definitely a show worth watching!

Horny the giraffe.  OMG I nearly died on that one!  I can just imagine the looks on his mothers' faces when he told them that one!  But knowing how they have both treated Brian (and Justin), they deserved the shock!

And the scene at the end was perfect.  Their own funhouse mirror and some private time to enjoy it.

Great story!

Nita

Author's Response:

Aww...thanks, Sweetie; you're very kind.  I just thought the whole idea of Brian being subjected to attending a state fair was just too good to pass up!  Shows you, though, the 'torture' he's willing to go through just to keep his boys happy.:)  Thanks again for reading and for all the comments, Nita!:)  *Big Hug*  ~Kimberly

Another good one.  I wanted to slap some sense into both our silly boys, but it was funny and well written.

Brian, Brian, Brian, when are you gonna learn that Justin wants you an only you?  He's not interested in any other Irishman but the one he already has in his heart and in his bed.

And Justin!  When are you going to learn not to antagonize Brian?  The man loves you.  It's obvious!  But you know he has a jealous streak ten miles wide, and when you tease him like that his imagination runs wild!

Great job, Predec2!  Gonna try to get some reading done on The Wedding Present soon.  I kinda got sidetracked with RL.

Another great job, Kim!  You had me crying one minute because I loved Vic too and laughing the next at Deb's memories of his pranks!

And poor Justin.  He stood there in support of his friend, but I know he was hurting too.  After all, Vic was a father to him when he needed one most.  Vic stepped up when Craig wouldn't.

So glad you wrote another Tricky story.  I love Tricky and Brian together!

And Justin is silly.  If he'd stop and think about it, he'd know there is no way Brian would ever take the space where Justin's studio was and build an office for himself.  Something tells me, Justin is about to get a state of the art studio out there.  THAT'S why Brian won't let him see it!

I love how Brian has matured and embraced his relationship with Justin.  If he knows his Sunshine is upset, he no longer mocks him or throws him off the cliff, he does whatever he can to make him feel better (even if that means telling a lie so he can keep his secret a secret).

Well Tricky sure knows how to make himself at home, doesn't he?  From tearing up the Charmin (I don't like the cheap crap either, Tricky) to lounging on the inflatable chaise, he's claiming Britin as his!  Next he'll be demanding Justin leave and the place be renamed Bricky! LOL couldn't resist!

Can't wait for the truth to be revealed.  Loving this one just like all your stories.  Can never get enough of the Tricky series!

Amazing space too!

Loved the doggy poop joke, and the scenes between Brian and Tricky were funny as always.  Also loved Deb's reaction.

And the way you ended it,,..just wow!  I hope they get Tricky some help soon.  Not only will Gus be devastated if anything happens to him, but I suspect Brian would be as well, even though he'd never EVER admit it.

Finally getting around to reading and commenting on the last chapter of this one.

First of all, you already know this since I've told you several times, but I LOVE the Tricky series.  Brian with that dog is just too funny for words.  And the real Brian shined through in this one.  Imagine, Brian Kinney sleeping at the vet's office, IN the kennel with the dog.  I never thought I'd see the day, but there he was.

Poor Brian!

And then the scene when they had to say goodbye to Tricky and Gus was heartbreaking.  Both of them love that little boy (and his dog) so much.  Brian never expected it to happen, but he fell in love with his son the minute he held him for the first time.

And then the proposal.....I loved it!  Now you HAVE to write at least one more installment so we can see the wedding (although it would be hard to beat the one in The Wedding Present!).  I can just see Tricky as a member of the wedding party....hint hint!  And I have to see Brian interacting with the "new family member"!!!! LOL

Great job, Kimberly.  I loved every word!!!!

Hi, Nita!  I'm so happy to see your comments, my friend.:) Thank you for spending time with this story and for the feedback; I really appreciate that.:)  I do love Tricky, and Brian has definitely warmed up to him now, too.  You will be glad to know that I DO intend for him to make a return appearance at the wedding - I already have a ringbearer photo to go with him.:)  Can you just see Tricky around champagne and a wedding cake?  LOL!  Can't wait to take advantage of that!  And what if they decide to hold the wedding near the pool?  Uh, oh - ha!  It may be a while before I get around to a sequel, but there will, indeed, be one eventually.  Maybe next spring?:)

Thanks again for reading and for your support, my friend.  I'll continue to send my best wishes to you.  *Hugs*  ~Kim

OMG this was just too hillarious for words!  Poor Justin!  And poor Brian for having to deal with an "insane" partner.

This was great, especially the very end when Brian encounters his own ghost.  Serves him right for making fun of Justin! LOL

Great job, as usual.  I loved it!
