Susan Hawkins became first a reader and then a great friend over the past 10 years. Despite the fact that she lived in Hawaii and I lived in British Columbia, Canada, we never let the miles between us stop us from sharing all of lifes trials and tribulations, joys and successes.

She passed away January 24, 2012 after a brief battle with cancer - and will always be loved and remembered by me and my family - including my Whispers family.
