I first started writing fan fiction before the internet was really much of a thing, and way before fan fiction archives existed. My best friend and I didn't even know that's what we were doing when we started crafting stories starring our favorite TV characters alongside original characters we'd created. I wrote *NSYNC fan fiction in high school, that bit the dust when the site I'd posted it on decided to no longer host RPF. Then I dabbled in Harry Potter fan fic in college. Then all of the reading and writing I had to do for grad school all but killed my love of reading, and it's taken me a long time to truly get back into it. Ten years later, I think I'm finally fully there, and I'm back to writing again too.

I've been a fan of QAF since college, in the early 2000s. Brian is my favorite character, because he's so complex, and I truly believe we owe a lot of that to Gale Harold and the way he interpreted the character. I'm a B/J shipper all the way. I'm not a Michael hater. And I love all of the hurt/comfort and the angst.
