The next thing he knew Emmett was rushing up the stairs in a panic.

“You need to get to the hospital.  I’ll stay and watch Gus and Molly.”

“Brian?  Is there something wrong with Brian?”

“No, sweetie.  You just need to go right now.”

Once he got to the street, he was lucky to find Ted waiting.  The drive to the hospital was mostly made in silence.  Ted claimed not to know what had happened.  It was strange however that once they arrived Ted knew exactly where to go. 

Justin was beginning to panic when Brian showed up and wrapped him in his arms.  “What’s wrong?”

“It’s Mel.  She found out that Lindsay was having an affair…with a man.  Her blood pressure went up dangerously.”  He paused and kissed Justin’s forehead.  “She lost the baby.”

The next thing Justin knew Michael was in his face screaming.  “It’s all your fault.”

Nothing about the last time prepared Justin for this.   He could feel himself sinking, then Justin knew no more.
