Summary:

This is a conceptual story tracing the development of the B/J relationship, with a huge focus on their physical interactions, the meaning of these and the progression of their physical and emotional intimacy through a vareity of scenarios, some of which follow canon closely and none of which blatantly contradict canon.

These warnings include: major character death, dub con, gun play, knife play, blood play, impact play, breath play, barebacking.... please note, the story is meant to explore consent play and therefore an explicit safeword is not used as this would answer, rather than elicit, questions and thought about when one is appropriate and how it should/can be used.*

Story Notes:

This story was first posted to my flist, then to bjfic, and now I am posting it here. There will be a few changes made to these previous versions:

1) I will post the chapters in chronological order here on MW (except for new chapters, which will be in the universe but will be posted once the end is done -- yes, this is a *FINISHED* fic that is added to occassionally out-of-sequence).

2) I will make a few minor revisions to chapters to be consistent with chronological posting. I may also revise chapters just for improvement's sake, though I don't anticipate doing this a great deal.

3) Given my miserable posting rate for Bridge Over Troubled Water, I'm sure it bears repeating: This story is FINISHED. I'll be posting about a chapter a day to the end, then periodically adding if I have additional chapters.

4) A huge part of this fic is, for me, about exploring ideas and emotions and relationships -- hence, comments, discussions, questions, disagreements -- that is sort of built in. Also, please heed the (many, many, many) warnings on the story.
