Really nice story. It could stand alone, but then the dialogue between characters would not sound as sharp and yet warm and friendly. That’s how I see it. A group of really wonderful people (characters) that like each other and are there to celebrate. That is what makes this fun to read. Happy people, happy to be there celebrating Justin’s birthday, written by an author who sounds like she is enjoying writing this story, and read by a happy reader (moi). What more can I say? This is fun to read. So, thanks for the story or for the aside or whatever you call this. I am having a real good time reading it. Molly knew all the pertinent information because Craig consulted with her. And as for Brian, this whole puppy thing is still kind of new to him. A crackfic is usually a form of fan fiction in which characters are put in very random, nonsensical situations, and most often the story seem to have been written as if the author was on drugs. It is also used to indicated that a story is a parody of the characters as we know them. Crackfics! are usually very short, one shot stories. Also, the characters that we know and love often step completely out of character as they react to nonsensical situations. Hope this helps.rnrnrnrn
