Great ending to a great story!!   And I'm so happy that you will be continuing with this Brian and Justin; you have told some great stories about them, and looking forward to what comes next!!  And just like you, I'm all for a little fluff mixed in as well.   Thanks again!!

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! <3 I am so in love with this version of Brian and Justin, and I'm so, so thankful that others love them as much as I do and look forward to reading them. I've been working on a couple of things outside the verse, and I have an idea for within it too, so we'll see what comes out! Thanks for reading!

I really like this universe and I am delighted that you are thinking of continuing to write a few more of their ways. Throughout the stories we have seen them change and grow together, talk to each other. Communication is so difficult for Brian but he gets there. Thank you for these wonderful stories and especially take care of yourself.

Author's Response:

I thought I had responded to this, but I'm not sure where my reply went! eek! Sorry! Anyway, it makes me happy that this universe and these characters make you happy, and that you enjoy reading it! You're right that communication is still difficult for Brian, and it probably always will be, even though he's a lot better than he used to be. Thanks for reading <3

I've loved reading this series.  I'm happy that your writing helped you out of a dark place.  I can't write very fast-  RL is just too busy but any pace is a good pace as long as you are enjoying your writing.  I've loved these stories and am pleased that you will continue to write in this universe.  Brian and Justin are in a great place and I love the mutual respect, talking, and support that they offer each other.  Great job and I'll look forward to your next adventure.

Author's Response:

Thank you <3 I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed reading it! It’s been a lot of fun to “grow them up” a little and let their relationship mature along with them. They’ve had a lot of life experiences that have changed a lot of things for them, but I want to keep them still Brian and Justin at heart...just a more mature, wiser version.

But I love them too much to let them go. ;)

thanks again!

This story arc is so left of field from canon yet it feels centered. It’s a story about love and fear and your ability to weave Brian’s noted history of fear of dealing with feelings in this was perfect. Justin’s need to be everything for Brian is exhausting and their joint communication issues was the perfect storm of real life issues. Loved it and I am thrilled the boys are continuing to fight united together and we can be given more chances to see the boys

Author's Response:

Thank you so much <3 When I first started on "Changed," I knew I was doing something big that was going go fundamentally change who Brian was as a person...thus, the title. ;) But I never dreamed it would turn into this epic thing. It's a high compliment to hear that it still feels centered even though it is such a huge shift from canon. You are absolutely right on how their dynamic works and doesn't work...how wrapped up Justin is in being everything for Brian, while Brian's fears keep him from being as open as he needs to be. Thanks for reading!

Minnie was a very good idea! Sweet chapter. Thank you!

Author's Response:

Thank you <3 So glad you enjoyed it and like the idea of adding a kitty cat to the family!

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: October 31, 2019 04:50 PM · On: Chapter 18

That was just the sweetest.   Justin was truly shocked and amazed at the gift of Minnie.    And I think Brian even surprised himself in a way as well.   I'm thinking he'll love end up loving her just as much as Justin.

Author's Response:

Thank you <3 I think you're right...Brian did surprise himself in a way. But that's how committed he is to doing what is right for his partner, even if it means stepping outside of his comfort zone. Staying in his comfort zone put them in a very tough spot earlier on in this story. Brian and "Minnie" (whose name will be changing soon) are a LOT alike...which may or may not be a good thing. LOL

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: October 31, 2019 04:31 PM · On: Chapter 17

Brian has definitely grown up and matured over the last several years.   He truly wants to be the best that he can be for Justin.

Author's Response:

He has! But I figure, that's life...he is 48 years old now, and he's had a lifetime of experiences, not the least of which is the sudden loss of a good chunk of what he thought made up the essence of Brian Kinney -- his physicality and sexual prowess. So he had to change, and he's had to figure out what's really important to him, and what makes him happy. Justin makes him happy. <3

Hello, my friend!  I have been so remiss in leaving reviews, not only on this story but so many more. Life has been so hectic and stressful lately.  But I finally had some time to gather my thoughts.  Your writing and the emotion that it always evokes is exquisite.  I love the way that you portray these two.  I can see them acting and feeling this way over time as their love and relationship evolve.  That Brian is willing to make adjustments in his life simply to help make the man he loves happy clearly shows how deep their bond goes.

I love this 'verse, Kari. And everything else you write. I hope you keep writing for a very long time. And I hope we get to meet up again one day in the not-so-distant future.  XOXO  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! I'm glad to hear you're still reading and enjoying. :) Evolving them in this way throughout this 'verse has been a little bit of a challenge, because that little voice of self-doubt creeps in every now and then to ask me if I'm taking them out of character...and the conclusion I've reached is that yes, compared to canon, I am, BUT we are 15 years past canon now, and some BIG stuff has happened to both of them in their lives since then in this 'verse. No way could they be the same people, either physically or emotionally. They have to grow, and portraying the way they are growing together has become one of my favorite things to write. Brian has always been willing to do things for Justin that he wouldn't do for anyone else, even in canon, and I see this as a modern-day extension of that. Brian cared deeply about Justin even when he wouldn't admit it. And the experience they've gone through in this story has fundamentally changed them both.

One more chapter to go. :)

I'm hoping to continue writing for a very long time...and I want to meet up again too! Soon!

Author's Response:

Things have changed yet not.  Brian needs to help Justin, he can't help himself.  He is sooo in love.  Rob and Adam are the friends Brian should have had, friends that could have made a big difference after the accident.  Wonderful chapter.

Author's Response:

Rob did play a pretty important role for Brian after his accident, even though they didn't meet until Brian was about a year and a half out from his injury. Rob was there when Brian was ready to listen and explore and ask questions, compared to when he was in rehab and having a bunch of things thrown at him all at once, and was overwhelmed and still struggling to wrap his mind around what having a spinal cord injury meant. So he made a huge difference, even if we didn't see it. :) You're so right that Brian struggles to help himself for more than anything. They have changed a lot, but they will always fundamentally be themselves, and Brian has a lot of baggage when it comes to relating to the people he cares about. He is trying to grow and change, but he will never be rid of what his parents left him with.

It's so good to see them return to normal and see them smile. It only remains to know the reaction of Justin to the storage of his studio and I hope that Him Brian Rob and Adam will have a party to celebrate the return to life. Once again beautiful story. Thank you.

Author's Response:

Thank you <3 Just a couple more things to tie up...two chapters left after this. :)

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: October 27, 2019 01:12 PM · On: Chapter 16

I think its very sweet of Rob and Adam to want to help Justin by clearing out his studio, so he'll be comfortable getting back in there.   And I think Brian looking into ways of getting a cat for Justin is great, too.   Actually, I think they both may benefit from having it.

Author's Response:

They might ;) And the idea of a cat just seems fun for future stories... <3

Burning words on paper is a great solution. Brian should try. I'm so happy to see Justin's smile again and with him Brian's smile.Beautiful update and story Thank you.

Author's Response:

Thanks...it’s a way of letting go that I personally am a big fan of. :) Brian did sit out there and do it with him until they got cold and went in. <3 So glad you’re still enjoying the story! I can’t wait for you guys to read the rest!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: October 24, 2019 02:19 PM · On: Chapter 16

It's good to see Justin enjoying life again.  Brian is letting go of some of his old rules and trying new shit.  If he gets the cat, there's so many ways that could go.  The cat could love him or dislike him, the cat's personality could be laid back or racing around.  It would be fun.

Author's Response:

Brian is a changed man in a lot of ways... his disability started the work of forcing him to change and realize some things about his life, but this situation has gotten him much closer to realizing just how easily everything he loves could slip right through his fingers and he'd be left all alone. Stay tuned for more on the cat idea... ;)

Brian's changed and he's much better for it.  He needs to tell his husband how happy he is.  It might make a difference.

Author's Response:

He's very, very happy. And by the end, my hope is that they will both know and have demonstrated how important they are to each other. <3

Brian is being a great support system for Justin and is really helping him to see the other side of things, like with Rob, Adam and the girls, and even this event that he is working.   Brian helped him see that even if he never paints again, his work is still out there and being seen by people.   He won't be forgotten.

Author's Response:

Absolutely. Brian has made up his mind not to fall into the same trap he did before.

So good ! I can not wait to find out what Justin is going to tell. Everything seems to be getting back into place little by little.. It's a hopeful chapter. Thank you.

Great chapter!!!  I was so happy to see Brian and Justin talking about what Justin was going through, and then reconnecting with each other again.   That in itself is a sure sign that Justin is doing so much better.   But I'm glad that he and Brian are back on the same page with each other again.   They deserve it!!

Author's Response:

The pieces of the happy ending are starting to fall into place now...though we still aren't quite there yet. :) I'm so glad you enjoyed the chapter!

I am so happy that Justin is feeling better and improving.   For only a few weeks out, he is doing great, and I'm glad that he and Brian are getting back to spending time together again.

Author's Response:

Me too! He still has bad days for sure, and he will through the end of this fic (though don’t we all?) but he is doing much better. And he has a lot of people in his corner. Thanks for reading! :)

It's so good to see Justin get a little smile and Brian starts breathing again. They are really well surrounded with Rob Adam and Cynthia always listening but without intrusion.Thank you for this chapter which is good for everyone!

Author's Response:

Isn’t it, though? Even as the author, it’s a relief. You’re right that they do have a great support system in place. Thanks so much for reading!

Reviewer: sfscarlet (Signed) · Date: October 10, 2019 02:05 AM · On: Chapter 13

Great Update.  I really enjoyed Brian's introspection.  He isn't quite ready to let Justin solve all his own problems but he is using restraint.  Normal activity is often a great view into the characters.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I so enjoy writing from within Brian’s head, and I’m glad it’s coming across well! Brian is such a fixer that it’s hard for him to let go and leave Justin completely in control. He’s trying to help, but that may not be exactly what Justin needs or wants.

Reviewer: marie-france (Signed) · Date: October 07, 2019 05:25 PM · On: Chapter 12

It's hard for them but Justin is fighting to let Brian in and Brian is trying to be there for him. I think they may both have to talk to the therapist.

Author's Response:

This is a difficult situation for both of them...Brian has to have his own support system, and I think he will find it in Rob. Rob has been there, too, so that helps.

Reviewer: bksbracelet (Signed) · Date: October 04, 2019 10:27 AM · On: Chapter 12

Poor Brian beating himself up for not acting quicker when in reality Justin hadn’t hit rock bottom and would have shut Brian down anyway. Justin is trying so hard to hang on and at this time by his fingertips to Brian. Justin does not want to slip away so he is trying so hard to remain present

Author's Response:

"Hanging on by his fingertips is a really great way to put it. He's trying, but it's hard. And Brian is navigating a very difficult and touchy situation too. Thanks for reading and commenting <3

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: October 04, 2019 02:38 AM · On: Chapter 12

Good chapter.   I think Brian should talk with Justin's therapist.  I think it could give him an idea about how he could help Justin and if there is anything he should be doing that he isn't.  This chapter, Brian went out of his way to spend time with Justin and comfort him and basically was just there for him.   That probably meant the world to Justin, and it's obvious that Brian is still trying to make up for how he was after the bashing, though I thought he really went out of his comfort zone with what he did do.   He talked with the therapist, tried to recreate the prom at the loft, took Justin to the garage to jog his memory, and was there for him after he did remember what had happened.

Author's Response:

While things are reminding Brian of the time post-bashing here, his beating himself up here is pretty much confined to this situation. Although he does feel like he has a pattern of fucking things up, and the bashing was probably the first significant one when it came to Justin. Brian is trying really, really hard here. Justin's therapist wouldn't be able to say much due to confidentiality laws. But Brian will figure it out on his own. <3 Thanks for reading and always commenting!

Justin won't be okay for awhile and neither will Brian.  It's hard to see things that you feel you should've seen.

Author's Response:

They won't for a while, no, but they know this, and they are in it together. Together, they'll get through it, no matter how long it takes. <3

I love more and more Rob. He knows how to find the right words and also lets Brian know that even though he's here for Justin, he needs to take care of him too. Now that they have the help they need, I hope they will get to talk to each other and move forward together.

Author's Response:

I love him so much too, and I'm so grateful that you guys indulge me in letting me write him quite a bit, even though he's an original character. :) He and Brian are both good for each other in different ways. An emotional Brian always makes me emotional...and I think there's gonna be much more of that to come.

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: September 29, 2019 10:46 PM · On: Chapter 11

Rob was right; Brian will put Justin's needs before his own, but that's what anyone would do.   But hopefully, now that they are both aware of the situation and Justin is getting the help he needs, hopefully, he'll be able to open up to Brian and let him know what has been going on with him, and they'll be able to move forward.

Author's Response:

That's exactly the kind of person Brian is -- people call him selfish, but he actually isn't. He's very selfless, and puts others before himself, even while projecting the facade of being self-centered and not caring about anyone else. It's going to take Justin a little while to be able to open up to Brian, I think. But they will be moving forward into what I think will be a very happy ending. <3

Another great chapter.  Justin needs help and finally Brian has his ass out of hte sand and is going to the be the partner that he wants to be.  I can't wait to read the next part.

I'm so glad that Brian got there when he did and Justin was okay.   Well, not okay, but he hadn't yet done anything that would make the situation more difficult.   And I think Brian did great in just sitting with him, holding him and reassuring him that he would be there with him every step of the way.

Author's Response:

Thank you <3 This was a very difficult chapter to write, and for sure a difficult one for our boys...particularly for Brian not being able to fix the situation. (Which I think is going to be his achilles heel from here on out...)

t's a really heartbreaking chapter. Justin is so lost and suffering so much. Brian is torn because he has the impression of having wanted to hide the signs. I hope that the visit to the therapist will help.Great update.

Author's Response:

Thanks so much <3 They've each made their mistakes, but Brian feels like he's made the most. That's going to be a hard thing to overcome.

Reviewer: JerseyGirl (Signed) · Date: September 26, 2019 04:50 AM · On: Chapter 10

Wow, just wow! Heart wrenching to see Justin so broken and Brian so full of remorse for missing the signs and not being there physically and mentally to support and help his husband!  I hope this is the beginning of healing on both parts although I have a feeling it won’t be a smooth journey to get there for either of our boys! Candy

Author's Response:

Thank you so much <3 You are absolutely right that this won't be a smooth journey, but at its core, this story is about healing and learning and discovering things about themselves. That part of the journey is just beginning.

I just love Rob and Adam.   They are truly great friends to Brian and Justin and are always there for them.   I’m so glad that Rob said something to Brian abOut what was going on with Justin.   Sometimes you have to be outside of the situation to really be able to see what is going on.

Author's Response:

I love them too, and I'm so happy that you guys love them as well...because that means I get to write them more often. ;) You're absolutely right that sometimes an outside perspective is needed...and I'd add also that sometimes even though we might regret how things went, they still went just exactly as they were supposed to, in order to produce an ultimate outcome.

Aha, why am I not surprise to hear that Justin was MIA while his dinner was delivered to his studio? If Brian wasn't so off his game he would be asking himself the right questions where his partner is concerned. Like who is this blonde that checks on him from time to time and what has he done with Justin. More please....

Author's Response:

Brian was focused on all the wrong things, and that led him to not ask questions he should have...which he regrets as he looks back and tells this story. But soon he will not have a choice.

I can't see Brian letting this thing with Justin go on much longer.    He is all over the place and things keep getting worse instead of better.

Another Cliffhanger, you are the devil! What's going on with Justin? They need to talk to each other. What is going to be the trigger for the drama that is preparing? You know how to make us stop breathing. Wonderful chapter and always so well written.

Author's Response:

Ha, sorry...I think the next few chapters will be like that, as we approach the climax of the story. Then it should get less cliffhangery after that. There are many triggers for what's about to happen...and trust me, Brian has many, many regrets about the way he's been so far in this story. Thanks for reading and always reviewing <3

Brian needs to enlist the help of Rob.  He can't keep this up and heal.  Or Justin needs to be honest-  not sure that is happening in this story-  but either way, you are really building up a lots of cliff hangers

Author's Response:

Brian is about to get a message he can't ignore...and Rob is going to play a significant part. I love that you guys love Rob as much as I do! <3 Justin will be honest, but there are more pressing things at hand first. Thanks for reading! :)

Not sure whether I should love you for this amazing story or hate you for leaving me hanging off another cliff! My brain is spinning trying to analyze every word to see if I can find a clue as to what is happening with Justin.  So far I’m clueless which is a sign of terrific writing!  Candy

Author's Response:

Ha! I hope you still love me. ;) The next few chapters I think will still have cliffhangers, as we approach the climax of the story, but then things should get a little less cliffhanger-y as we make our way towards resolution. My recommendation in figuring out what's wrong with Justin would be to think about his symptoms...he's sleeping a lot, he's withdrawing, he's anxious, he's having mood swings, he isn't interested in things that he once was...

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: September 12, 2019 08:59 PM · On: Chapter 7

Brian really needs to start asking Justin what is going on with him already.   Something is obviously wrong, and he needs to address it.   And with Brian's injury, he could really use Justin right now, not someone who is not really all there.

Author's Response:

Brian has his reasons for shying away from addressing it...and looking back now he does regret that he didn't address it sooner. But he didn't. And he didn't see it as obvious at the time. In Brian's perspective here, we are looking back, and he is now seeing all of the things he feels he should have seen months ago and didn't.

Oh Justin you need to help Brian understand the black hole your in 😔

Author's Response:

"Caught in a black hole" is a great way to describe where Justin is right now. Unfortunately, though, it's as hard for him to talk about as it is for Brian to ask.

I'm stressed! It looks like everything is preparing for a great disaster!

Author's Response:

Mmm-hmm...we are definitely headed into a serious situation. Don't get too stressed though -- I promise there's a happy ending!

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: September 10, 2019 08:47 PM · On: Chapter 6

I'm starting to get really upset with Justin.   Show or no show, he needs to be able to be reached when something important happens.   And him ignoring call after call after call is just not right.   Surely that would signal that something is happening and he needs to get in contact with whoever it is to find out what is going on.

Author's Response:

You won't have to be mad at Justin for too much longer. ;) Rest assured he isn't just ignoring Rob's calls, though...

Reviewer: marie-france (Signed) · Date: September 09, 2019 07:50 AM · On: Chapter 6

Brian is stuck for a moment, fortunately, that Rob is here to help him and he knows him well. Now we also have to worry about Justin where is he? Is he going to receive the message? All that will get worse is not it? Great update. Thank you.

Author's Response:

The drama with Justin is far from over...only now Brian has a significant distraction, and along with it comes a significant complication to the situation they've found themselves in. Thanks for reading <3

Reviewer: JerseyGirl (Signed) · Date: September 08, 2019 09:43 PM · On: Chapter 6

Oh my, why do I have a sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach, with Brian’s physical issues, this just complicates things. And then there is the other issue of what is going on with Justin and where the heck is he!!  Where oh where are we headed??  Candy

Author's Response:

The complication here arises less from Brian's physical issues, and more from the situation this throws him and Justin into. Whenever he finally gets home, that is. ;) Thanks so much for reading and for all of your support and encouragement on Facebook. <3

Uh oh. This soumds really bad and Brian is most definitely not "fine." Justin is going to freak out because this situation is going to disrupt his creative flow. If he is really in his studio painting, that is. Hmmm. Pease get us off this cliff soon. Thanks.

Author's Response:

Yep, he's for sure not fine...and a sizable complication is about to get thrown into their lives. More soon, I promise. :)

Reviewer: bksbracelet (Signed) · Date: September 05, 2019 09:20 AM · On: Chapter 5

Oh no Brian I see a stint in hospital coming up and that leaves a depressed Justin not painting I suspect

Author's Response:

It's not quite that serious, but he does have a problem that he'll be having to deal with for a little while.

Reviewer: marie-france (Signed) · Date: September 05, 2019 07:18 AM · On: Chapter 5

It was not the best place to stop, was it? But here we have to wait and see what happens to Brian, I hope it's not too bad and Justin's show is going to be fine, even if I doubt it. Thank you for the update.

Author's Response:

More soon, I promise! :) I also promise that Rob is going to take good care of Brian... <3

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: September 03, 2019 03:05 PM · On: Chapter 4

I can't wait to find out what Justin's problem is.

Author's Response:

Inferences will need to be made here, since the plot of the story lies in Brian looking back at all of the things he should have seen to figure it out. :)

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: September 02, 2019 12:49 PM · On: Chapter 4

That was definitely a great welcome home for Brian.   A nice candlelight dinner, wine and definitely great company, along with a great evening for the both of them.    I do hope that Brian starts asking Justin some questions soon.   They need to start talking with each other.

Author's Response:

Open communication is definitely a problem for the two of them, but I think things are about to get worse before they get better...

I'm glad that Brian opened up to Michael about what's been happening with Justin, as he had some eye opening things to say about it.   And it was good that Michael told Brian that its not him that Justin is being distant with; that Justin's not pulling away from him, there is something that is really going on with him.

Author's Response:

Michael knows Brian really, really well -- he can read between the lines to see what Brian isn't saying or doesn't want to say. And Michael is right about Justin...something is going on. But this story is far from over... ;)

It was an almost magical chapter to find them so in love after these worries but as the storm is coming so we must also prepare for the worst! Thank you for this update.

Author's Response:

Thank you! I think we all needed the little break...right before the next storm. This story is far from over... ;)

I am in love with this “Verse” have been from the first chapter of Changed. Each new chapter/story has me either applauding where our boys are and where they have been, or holding my breath and trying not to hyperventilate while reading “Not Like You” and wondering what you have in store for our boys!!  Candy

Author's Response:

Thank you so much! <3 I hope you don't hyperventilate reading this one...it's gonna get pretty intense, I think, for all of us...myself, our boys, and probably you guys too. ;) Thanks for commenting! I'm so thrilled that you are still loving it.

Okayyyy, Mikey has given the ex-stud a lot to consider about the changes his partner is going through. It is time for Brian to pull his head out and start getting to the bottom of what has caused Justin to do a 180. Thanks for the update.

Author's Response:

Indeed, he has. Sometimes Brian just needs someone else to point out what he already knows and won't admit. I think Justin is about to throw Brian for another loop, though... ;)

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: August 28, 2019 01:13 PM · On: Chapter 3

Brian is worried but being Brian he is ignoring it.  While his talk with Michael was illuminating, I think talking to someone else would be helpful.  Or maybe a profession who could see what Brian is missing.

Author's Response:

Yep...Brian doesn't like to feel uncomfortable things, and he doesn't like to see or think about Justin hurting either. Things are about to get more complicated for both of them...

Reviewer: marie-france (Signed) · Date: August 28, 2019 07:43 AM · On: Chapter 3

I really want to know what's going on with Justin or at least what puts him in that state. Michael was right to tell Brian to talk to Justin and not let go. Thank you for the update.

Author's Response:

Brian wants to know too, but at the same time, he was afraid of the answer. The symptoms are stacking up though, so some inferences can definitely be made as to what is going on with Justin. ;)

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: August 26, 2019 08:48 PM · On: Chapter 2

I'm with Brian; something is definitely going on with Justin.   This is not normal for him at all!!

Author's Response:

Yes, Justin has a serious problem -- but the complication of this story is that Brian chose not to see it, or chose to ignore it, or otherwise focused on all of the wrong things. When he looks back, it's clear as day, but in the moment...not so much. Regrets...Brian has many of them.

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: August 25, 2019 01:33 AM · On: Chapter 2

I'm dying to know what is in front of Brian.  How long before the clues turn into what's really happening.

Author's Response:

A big part of the arc of this story is in the slow buildup of what is happening with Justin...I promise there will be payoff and a happy ending, but the road to get there is very dark and twisty... I think things will start to stack up for you guys in Ch. 3 in particular, but you might have to make some inferences. ;)

Reviewer: marie-france (Signed) · Date: August 22, 2019 07:48 AM · On: Chapter 2

What's going on with Justin? Is he in a depression? He does not eat, does not paint well. I hope we will quickly know it is disturbing.. Thank you for the update.

Author's Response:

I think next chapter it should get more more clear what is going on. He is struggling,  for sure, and Brian is struggling to figure it out.

Reviewer: Enohvee1875 (Signed) · Date: August 22, 2019 06:01 AM · On: Chapter 2

Soooo, I'm not too proud to admit that this chapter has me freaking out big time. What's going on with Sunshine? He quit his job, has painter's block, and refused food? Is the guy depressed or is it something more serious? Please get us off of  the cliff ASAP! Thanks.

Author's Response:

I think it'll become much clearer in the next chapter. ;) But I'm afraid the freakout is probably not yet over...

Reviewer: ForeverLove50 (Signed) · Date: August 22, 2019 05:19 AM · On: Chapter 2

I’m Scared. *gulp

Author's Response:

Eeek, right? Justin definitely isn't himself...  Thanks for reading!

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: August 22, 2019 12:59 AM · On: Chapter 2

What is wrong with Justin? please let us in on the secret!

Author's Response:

I think it's all going to get a lot more recognizable soon. ;)

Reviewer: Lorma (Signed) · Date: August 19, 2019 06:11 PM · On: Chapter 1

Oh no!  I’m starting to worry about Justin now,

Author's Response:

You're right to be worried about him. ;) This story will have a happy ending, but the road to get there is dark and twisty.

Reviewer: YumYumPM (Signed) · Date: August 18, 2019 02:29 PM · On: Chapter 1

Now i would dearly love to know what happened.  It might of had to do with his painting or inability to paint.  And from the clues you've left us it had to have been bad.  Hurry soon with more.

Author's Response:

If I told you what happened in Ch. 1, we wouldn't have much of a story... ;) All will become more clear soon, though we won't be resolving for a bit, and Brian has a lot more to be regretful about in the meantime. More soon. :)

Reviewer: Enohvee1875 (Signed) · Date: August 17, 2019 10:20 PM · On: Chapter 1

Okay, I am already clutching my pearls and calling in a refill for my anti-anxiety meds because it feels like this is going to be a bumpy ride. Bring it!

Author's Response:

Haha, I just LOVE getting reviews like this! You made my day. :) I'm so totally on the "bring it!" train too when I read intense, suspenseful stories. Hope it continues to deliver!

Reviewer: cullengirl08 (Signed) · Date: August 17, 2019 01:42 AM · On: Chapter 1

Uh oh, this was has me getting nervous from the get go.   Something is definitey up with Justin, but here's hoping he starts opening up to Brian and soon.

Author's Response:

I think this might be my attempt at a suspense piece ;) Glad it's got the foreboding going on already! Thanks for reading!

Reviewer: marie-france (Signed) · Date: August 16, 2019 08:06 AM · On: Chapter 1

I am really anxious about what is happening to Justin and that everything will be settled without much damage but the beginning of this story does not speak good. I just hope you do not kill him!

Author's Response:

This story will have a lot of twists and turns and some definitely "heart in your throat" moments, but I promise it isn't a death fic. ;) Thanks for reading!

Reviewer: tiger062 (Signed) · Date: August 16, 2019 04:39 AM · On: Chapter 1

I'm intrigued. Definitely looking forward to more.
