So beautifully written!  I wish we had seen more of this type of interaction and caring during Brian's cancer arc on the show. I loved the last line, BTW!  Perfect. And you described their relationship and how they 'communicated' so well. Thank you so much for posting this here. I love your writing style and the emotions they evoke. I hope we get the pleasure of seeing more of your stories in the future. :)  ~Kim

I'm glad that Brian is finally acknowleging that he wants Justin's help.   That's all that Justin has wanted from the beginning.   Great story!!

Love this look from Justin's POV.  Better yet that Brian is finally letting him in.

Wow!  Lots of emotions here.  Love when Brian shows how much he need Justin and cares about him.  Bill

Author's Response:

Me too! I felt like the cancer arc was so formative for the Brian character. He did a lot of developing during that time, having to confront his own mortality and having no choice but to be vulnerable and to accept help, even as much as he tried to fight it. I love stories about them getting through it together, too. <3

wow it's so hard. Thank you these moments are important, we do not see enough in the show

Author's Response:

It's a very difficult position for both partners to be in -- the one who needs help and the one helping. I felt like they glossed over a lot of things in the cancer arc in the show. Thus, my tendency to write gapfillers about it, and my love of reading them.
