Wow Poor Gus that’s so traumatic for th young boy. I’m so glad Brian and Justin got to him so fast. I pray things go smoothly thanks to Laurent.

This was absolutely wonderful! Thank you so much for writing and sharing this little gem. I always enjoy reading about Brian getting his rights back for Gus because it was something that always bothered me in the show that he was expected to hand over cheques but had no rights to his son? Both Mel and Lindsay had a lot to answer for in different ways. Your stories really help me get over the crappy writing for the show lol This really made my heart melt- so well written and a pleasure to read- I’d actually love to read more of this d84;a039;

I would love to see where this goes

Author's Response:

Thank you.  I'm seriously considering doing a sequel.  We'll see if I can find the time over the next few days.

Loved it, and I would so love to see this story played out even further!!!   With Brian, as angry as he is with Lindsay right now, and Laurent's helpfulness with Robert the judge, Lindsay would definitely get her comeuppance.

Author's Response:

Than you so much.  I'll have to think about that one.  If I get a chance in the next few days I might see what I can come up with.

What a beautiful story with such a satisfying ending. Gus is where he belongs, with his dads.

Author's Response:

Thank you. And I agree.  In this 'verse at least Gus is way better off with his dads.

Wonderful story.  Glad that Brian and Justin have their Gus back.  Thank you for the great holiday stories.  I enjoyed all of them.

Author's Response:

Thank you. Glad you're enjoying the Christmas fics.  I love writing them.  I started in 2003 I think and there has only been one year that I didn't write at least one (I got food poisoning just before Christmas and wound up in the emergency room a few days later because I was so dehydrated - nasty).

A lovely story Wren if only all child protection cases ended so well 😏 Thank you for not traumatizing Gus too much d84;a039;d84;a039;

Author's Response:

Indeed.  So many end so badly.  I had friends who acted as foster parents and they told horror stories.  But that was never going to happen to Gus.

Author's Response:

Thank you.  Maybe one of these days.  I have two fics I have to write this Christmas, but after that ... mmmm, let me think

Loved this story especially the close relationship between B&J.  Gus was adorable.  Well done!!!   Bill

Author's Response:

Thank you.  I have to admit that ever since 101 I have been a sucker for anything involving Brian and Gus.  I have a framed, signed copy of the shot of him holding Gus in the hospital near my TV and never get tired of it.

This will be a Merry Christmas for Gus.  I, like you, detest the munchers.  I have enjoyed reading this tale several time and end up rereading it every Christmas.  I only wish that you would have written how Michael, someone else I have problems, took it when he found out Melanie left with Jenny Rebecca.  I bet he has no idea.

Author's Response:

Thank you. It's one where I let my dislike of the how the women behaved in S5 come to the fore.  I'll have to think about the Mikey thing.  What's the bet he and Deb would find a way to blame Brian for the whole fiasco?
