Aw that was so good I loved it I was gently smiling all through it

Author's Response:

Thank you, Chris!  I was trying to invoke a hopeful note into my interpretation of what might have happened.  Somehow, I would have loved to have known from the show that they either slipped the rings on their fingers, or at least hung them on a chain around their necks, so I guess this was my way of rectifying that. :)  As always, I'm grateful for your support. Thank you.  ~Kim

That was beautiful but heartbreaking. I would of loved it if the episode did have Justin taking the ring with him to New York to remember Brian.

Author's Response:

Hello, Caryn!  I know; I HATED that last episode.  Soooo sad at the end.  I truly believe in my fan fiction soul that the boys found a way to stay together, and I guess this was my interpretation of it.  And, yes, it would have been great if they had shown them wearing the rings somehow.  I think the fact that Brian didn't return them spoke volumes about his love for Justin. Thank you for reading this one-shot, and especially for taking the time to comment; I greatly appreciate that. :) ~Kim

I loved the inscription on the ring.  For me, once Justin slipped it on his finger that inscription was burned into his soul.  I loved this.

Thanks for writing.  I forget how much I used to love your writing until I read you again.

Author's Response:

Hello, Sandi!  I am glad you liked the inscription; not sure where it came from in my head, but it seemed right to me. :)  I am so happy you enjoyed this one-shot! Thank you for reading and especially for the feedback.  ~Kim

Wonderful writing.  I loved reading.  What's in the ring is simply beautiful: "When we met, time stopped for me."   And that was so !!!!!!!

The hope of meeting again remains in me.  Thank you so much!

This story is really sweet!

I loved the detail of the inscription inside the Justin's ring. I find it very appropriate.

The best thing, though, is Brian who puts the ring on and says his "yes" from a distance.

Author's Response:

Thank you so much for reading and especially for leaving me feedback! I truly appreciate that, and I'm happy you liked the inscription.  I always thought in my mind that they would find a way to stay together, and I guess this was my way of insuring that. :)  Thanks again for choosing to read this one. :)  ~Kim

Wow ... I love it!!! Dear Kim, loved every word, so warm and sweet and maybe the farewell is the start of a new beginning with the rings on their finger. "Yeah, Sunshine." "We're going to be okay."

Author's Response:

Hello, my friend - I am happy that you enjoyed this bittersweet one-shot.  I hated to see them part on the last episode, so I think this was my way of putting a more positive spin on it. Thank you as always for reading and especially taking the time to comment.  :)  ~Kim

A perfect parting.  I'm waiting for the phone call though.

Author's Response:

Thank you, Phyllis!  I'm happy you liked it. And yes, if I had continued, the phone call would have definitely been a part of it, but I figured with my tendency to overdo it, I would STILL be writing it - Ha!  Thank you for reading and for commenting as always; it is deeply appreciated. :) ~Kim

I took a break from reading 'Turn of the Wheel' just so I could check out your new story.  I love gap fillers and this one was wonderful.  It held all the emotion I absolutely know they felt during those last hours together, and I'm particularly happy with what you did about the rings.  I can totally see that happening.  Thank you for the great read tonight.  Huge hugs, Grammy

Author's Response:

Hi, Grammy!  First of all, please accept my apologies for not responding to your reviews on "Turn of the Wheel."  I will respond as soon as I can, and I deeply appreciate you taking the time to leave comments. :)  I'm so happy you enjoyed this one. it was such a bittersweet episode on the show!  It made me sad to think of them parting, but their love was clearly shown in the tenderness they displayed during their last time together.  Thank you for reading this one, Grammy, and for the lovely comments.  *Hugs back* ~Kim
