Wow that place sounds so amazing I’m not a boat person but I wanna go on that. I’m glad they go away to help clear up everything. It’s harder when you are stuck in the environment it happened. A fresh open Place good. The talk they had really opens my eyes to a lot of stuff and you seriously did an amazing job with it. You should be so proud of yourself. I do hope Gus goes to live with them.

Can’t wait for more x

Author's Response:

Wasn't it gorgeous? I was stunned when I was looking up pictures on the net; some of those rooms are larger and better than mine at home. LOL! As for the boys, they needed the time away. The family has good intentions. Most of the time. But they tend to meddle where they needn't and end up causing more tension, rather than help. Case in point, Emmett berating Brian at Babylon. He had good intentions, and Brian did need to hear some of that stuff, but it wassn't his place to take Brian in hand; nor should he have assumed that Brian was falling into old patterns. Justin was just as much to blame, if not more so, in this situation, and Brian was justifiably angry. On the boat, Brian and Justin were able to do what they needed to do - focus on themselves and the problems they were having, without the family adding their totally unnecessary two cents in.

And thanks! Trying to keep track of all the threads in this story can be difficult sometimes, so I'm always happy to hear that people are enjoying it and that I'mdoing a good job of it, and am still able to keep you guys on your toes with my reveals. :) Thanks for reading! :)

I like when they talk to each other like that after an argument. I can not wait to see what's going to happen with Lindsay. Thank you great story !

Author's Response:

At least they are working out their differences, even if they still have things to deal with. And Lindsay will get hers in the end. Thanks for reading! :)

Hi, Ashita!  Really glad the two have solved their differences in their 'typical way.' ;)

I really liked your description of Justin here made by Brian:  "but you were the first that slipped his net," Brian said, trying to explain to Justin just where Simon and Lindsay had gone wrong with him. "Lindsay for some reason saw your drive as an artist and mistook your need to succeed as 'a desperation to succeed.' She should have known better; you've never been someone to fall into line and cow to another's whims or demands. She'd become blinded by what she thought she saw in you, rather than what was really there. It was her downfall."   Very insightful and true!

As always, I look forward to your updates. Thank you for providing us with this wonderful story.  ~Kim

Author's Response:

Well make-up sex is their go to when dealing with overwhelming feelings. Plus, they never could keep their hands off each other in canon; makes sense it would be the same had their relationship continued past the series, which I firmly believe it did.

And for Lindsay, I always disliked that Lindsay was supposedly able to manipulate Brian and Justin into the New York move because it just seemed so out of character for both men. The writers built up this amazing character for a Justin, who at 17, knew exactly who he was and what he wanted out of life and was unafraid to be and pursue that. I have a hard time believing that the man that told Lindsay that Brian was his once in a lifetime opportunity would cave to her whims and demands just because she managed to get to Brian and thought it was best for him. And don't get me started on Brian suddenly seeing the light and believing that an under-educated boy with limited funds, no job in place or place of his own to live lined up would be the right course for a man he loved enough to break all his rules and 'to do anything, to be anything' for. It made no sense.

Plus, I really never believed that she was doing it for Justin but had ulterior motives when she did it (although not as evil as I made her out to be in this); I fully believe that she was jealous that Justin was being offered everything that she'd always wanted on a silver platter and she couldn't deal with it.

As always, thanks for reading! :)
